Race 1
(8) ARRIVAL closed impressively in her Mohawk debut and she gets a better post here to work from; top call. (5) ONLY ONE STAR brings a great record and some quick miles west from the Maritimes. She can factor right away. (6) MANHATTAN SPIRIT has been impressive at London but she faces mostly elders and she'll have to prove it on the big track. (7) MISS KABANA got some luck to escape in the lane and chase down the loose leader but she is a threat right back in this field.
Race 2
(1) HIGHLAND DYNAMITE sticks out facing much easier here. If she trots, she wins. (2) WIKI HANOVER will likely ride the pylons again and emerge late to take a share. (3) MAGICS LUCKY CHARM continues to race well, but she's stuck on one win. I'll use her underneath. (9) HEY LIVVY could be a threat both early and late if she minds her manners, but that's hard to predict.
Race 3
(5) DISMISSAL SLIP was ready to roll last week when coming off a break and although he might face more heat early here, he could be up to it; slight nod. (9) LYONS BEACHBOY dug in to hold off an 0 for 25 rival and the outer post was no issue for him; using. (3) THE COLONEL can slip into the exotics picture at a price again. (8) AMERICAN RISK was narrowly beaten by the choice and he could better this placing with a decent trip.
Race 4
(6) HP PANDORA should be very tough to beat here on the drop to the bottom claimer unless there is something terribly amiss. (9) ANDERSON SEELSTER drops out of the same race as the choice and she could provide a challenge if she can overcome her post. (3) I C ANASTRO was decent last week in this class, but I doubt she handles both of the top two choices here. (2) HEX is worth a look for the exotics racing off the claim.
Race 5
(8) HOT SPOT HANOVER raced tough and was a narrow loser when last in this class two starts back. She gets the nod here. (1) JUST HER LUCK was sharp in victory last week and she is a must-use in the multis for me despite stepping up. (3) AMERICAN SARA drops and she stands a much better chance in this class. Toss her on Pick 4 and Pick 5 tickets. (6) MS MAC N CHEESE was better last week but this looks like a tougher spot; small share predicted.
Race 6
(7) TIKI TAKA is in great form and should take beating racing off the claim and likely to be taken again. (6) SLIP INTO GLIDE will likely get hammered on the big class drop, but it's a bit suspicious and I wouldn't take a low price. (9) THE POWER OF MANY is always a threat it seems and she edged the choice then skipped a week. She's in the mix here. (8) SCOTTIES SPIRIT was 2nd to the choice last time in a good effort and her form of late has been impeccable, She's in with a shot.
Race 7
(9) AINT THREE OK was absolutely buried for the entire stretch drive last week when seemingly full of pace, now she drops a level. Expect Henry aggression here. (3) DONTBRUSIECARRIE has six wins this year, several of which came on the class drop. She should be the main danger. (1) BERNADETTE was used up early last time but moving inside gives her a chance to share here. (8) DAZZLING ROCKETTE should be closing late again; use underneath.
Race 8
(1) EXHILARATED keeps tripping out to win and starting from the pylons here, she may never take one step to the outside and still extend her win streak; slight nod. (4) FIREBBY A returns in sharp form and she should pose a threat here. (6) WITCH DALI and (7) SANDBETWEENURTOES are two formidable stablemates that can never be counted out, but neither has been dominant recently and I'll play to beat them here.
Race 9
(7) MACHNHOPE set solid fractions last week and managed to repel her chief rival late. She should be tough right back. (4) HELLO LOVE comes to play every week and she should pose a big threat to the choice again here. (8) SUDDEN PASSING faces easier here, but she may have to pass them all to win which would be a tough chore. (2) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY is in great form but the top two may be too much for her at this point in time.
Race 10
(3) SLY ELEANOR N served notice that she's ready by pacing a 28-flat kicker over a surface rated two seconds slow; top call. (4) SHARKS SUMMERSHANDY was a winner in this class two starts back and she should rebound here. (6) FOR THE RECORD couldn't chase down a big favorite last time, but that was a solid uncovered effort and she should be a factor here. (7) THIS DRAGON ROCKS could crash the exotics dropping back to the non-winners of three class. (2) LADY BUBBLES is better than she showed in the Grassroots finals, but she's missed time which makes her a bit of a question mark here.
