(3) GREAT GUNS improved sharply last time but he loses Macdonald to the #1 horse. I'll use him underneath tonight. (1) SIR STRONG gets the leading driver who had several options in here; price look.

Race 2: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $5,000 LT

(6) TARQUINIUS HANOVER was bet like he couldn't lose last week and he never really got close to the front. He gets a barn change and a new driver here and sharp improvement is expected; top call. (1) GUNG HO raced against a colt that is one of the top rookie pacers on the continent last time and he should be a big threat here on the class drop. (4) CRUISE HANOVER is another that is in easier here that is worth a look for the Pick 5. (5) GILLIGANS HOOLIGAN was close at this level two starts back. He should be in the exotics mix here.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Fifth Leg 2YO Fillies

(6) LUCY WHO jogged with Henry in the bike for the first time on 8/25 and more of the same is likely here at another short price. (4) NO ANGEL LIKE ME was a good 2nd to the choice at Kawartha Downs and she should be an Exacta factor again here. (2) CUNNING CONNIE is likely to sit close to the front throughout and land in the Tri tonight. (5) ST LADS TRICKY looks as good as any of the rest to round out the Super.

Race 4: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4

(6) BETTER STYLE has a couple of angles working for him here: he gets off the inside post which he had for both starts here and he gets McNair in the bike for the first time. I can see him improving sharply tonight. (8) CONTROL THE GOLD likely needed his last start after missing more than a month due to sickness. He gets Jamieson for his return to Mohawk Park; price look. (7) HEART OF DIXIE is the one to beat here coming off a narrow defeat here last time. He is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (3) HIDE YOUR MULA gets Henry here and he was also originally named on the choice. She is another in with a shot in a tough race.

Race 5: GRASSROOTS STARTERS 2YO FILLIES

(6) CHEESE SO PRETTY gets back to the big track, draws best, and returns quicker. She can make amends for failing to convert at 2 to 5 in Hanover. (4) BALA has been right there in every start and she figures to be the main danger here. (9) SHAKE IT TWICE ran out of racetrack last time. She is one of the best ones in here but it's hard to predict intent starting from out there in a non-Grassroots points race. (8) VIRTUAL KISS rarely misses the top four. She should be part of the Super tonight.

Race 6: 2YO NW1 or $5,000 - Pick 5

(5) GRACEFUL PATTY takes the biggest class plunge imaginable here and this should be graduation night at 1 to 5. (8) THUNDEROUSLY looks next fastest and he is a good bet to complete the Exacta. (9) USEYOURLOVETONIGHT should use his good gate speed to get position early and ride a good trip to a spot in the exotics. (7) IMPRESSIVE DUDE brings some good form to this race but he will need to drop some significant time. Small share predicted.

Race 7: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $5,000 - Pick 4

(5) SWEET AMIRA is several seconds the fastest in here and its hard to imagine her getting beat in this spot. (3) WESTERN FLAMES comes off a solid Grassroots effort in Hanover and she can be an Exacta factor here. (8) PA DELIGHT should contend for a good share racing against maidens again tonight. (2) SIRI SEELSTER is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics coming off an even debut effort.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Fifth Leg 2YO Fillies

(3) ANGELIKI gets Filion back after an adventurous trip at Kawartha last time and she is the one to beat here. (2) DEALIN FASHION is improving and she needs Grassroots points in a hurry so expect an aggressive try here. (4) ENOLA dropped some time last start and she is in the exotics mix with these. (1) SWEET CARRIE T should be part of the Super is she stays flat tonight.

Race 9: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000

(3) FEAR THE CRUSH used a big back 1/2 brush to win here on 8/23 and the filly she beat has already come back to win; slight nod in a race with several chances. (2) REGGAE HANOVER is another that looked good winning first up and she should be a threat right back; using. (6) DAY TO PARTY raced well in defeat and she should be the one to catch again. I prefer to use her underneath in this spot. (5) QUEEN OF SOUL loses Macdonald to the choice but she is another in with a shot in here.

Race 10: NW $2,000 L3

This is a field that (5) URNTROUBLE HANOVER is supposed to beat on the class drop to the bottom; top call. (2) WARRAWEE WHISPER had no excuse that I could see last week but he still stacks up well in this field; using. (4) LUCKY RASCAL's late kick should play well here. He is the third one I will use on the end of multi-race tickets. (6) MAGIC WANDA is in easier here but she tends to be win shy. I'll use her underneath. (3) WISHYOUDTELLME should flash early speed here and he can stick around for a share.
