Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000 LT) **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**
(8) CHEESES MURPHY swings right back into action after producing a strong effort to win in this class last Thursday night in his second start out of the Barrington barn and he gets the call to repeat. (5) KOMBUCHA raced decently from the 10-hole last time in a fast race for the class now he gets his nose on the gate and he should be the main danger. (2) OH LINA gets an inside post here after drawing poorly forever and she can add some value to the Tri or Super. (10) TYMAL TAROT should improve getting out of Grassroots races; using on the bottom.
Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000
(1) ZAKARINA may have finally found a field she can beat if she stays flat this week, but I wouldn't take a short price on her or any of these. (7) RITSON produced a good effort from post 10 to finish only two lengths back last time and that was one of the best recent races of any of these; using. (3) UMPTEEN HANOVER finished right with the choice two starts back and she is another in with a chance here. (10) D PROCRASTINATOR has had 18 chances to break his maiden and I'm not expecting a win from post 10 here, but he can take a share.
Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES 3YO FILLIES
This race should come down to a battle between (2) BETALADY and (3) ALICORN, who finished close together in a Grand Circuit race last time. I'll side with the former who was victorious two starts back when this duo met in a Gold race. (5) SOUND IDEA should blast for position and she could upset if she can work out a perfect pocket trip. (1) BEACH SPORTS is racing well enough to take another slice in this spot.
Race 4: CLM HDCP $8,000 to $12,000 - Pick 4
(6) LEADER TONIGHT was used up early on Thursday night now he draws the best post from which he should show sharp improvement; top call. (5) MOHEGAN BLUE CHIP brings solid form with him from Ottawa and his good tactical speed puts him in the mix here; using. (2) DABUNKA is well-situated to take a following trip and land in the Tri or Super. (7) FERN HILL BREEZE is another one that returns quick and he could hit the ticket at a price here.
Race 5: 2YO FILLIES NW 1 or $7,000 LT
This is a great spot for (1) BEST KEEPSAKE to take her maiden with likely only fellow class dropper (6) POSTSCRIPT to worry about in a race where these two fillies stand out on class. (3) TROUBLE BREWING qualified well for this and she could be the wild card if she is ready to drop 3 or four seconds. (5) STEELMEATREASURE took a slice in a Grassroots race most recently and she can land in the bottom of the Super vs. these.
Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO FILLIES - Pick 5
(3) SEX APPEAL used her excellent tactical speed to secure a nice trip and take a Grand Circuit win on the same night that (6) LAURAS LOVE won a different division of the same race. These two should battle here and I'll give a slight nod to the former who could get the better trip. (4) KARMA SEELSTER has raced better as the season has wore on and she should be in the exotics mix again. (2) ROSE RUN VANTAGE is another that should get position early and ride a good trip to a decent share.
Race 7: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 – Pick 4
This is a race that class-dropping (10) BUZZ should win, but from the second tier post I'm not sure how low of a price I would accept. (3) MISTER OF ALL gets Jamieson for the first time here which has been known to be a potent angle. He's on my Pick 4 tickets. (4) NOTHING BUT MUSCLE is the other Auciello class dropper that merits a look facing easier. (7) ST JAMES GATE typically contends at this level and he should come on late for a small share.
Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $5,000 LT
(8) COME ON RAAGS seems to lay over this group based on his two-move 1:52 4/5 score after shipping in from New York and he gets the call to repeat. (7) NOTAWORD N made a big improvement in his last race before shipping north and he goes for a barn that sends them ready and picks up Roy who has been going well lately; using. (3) SIRJAMESTHEGREAT has faced some tough ones in his past couple of starts. He can grab a share here at a price. (2) GOLDEN SAND last couple of races vs. easier at Hanover Raceway were decent and getting McNair won't hurt; consider using on the bottom of the Tri and Super.
Race 9: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT
(5) KIT comes out of a race last Thursday night that went about two seconds faster than these are likely to pace, and she should get more aggressive facing easier; top call. (2) NICE KITTY HANOVER is an obvious contender moving off post 9 but missing time due to sickness makes me want to proceed cautiously. (4) HAPPY LOOKER's recent sub-28 kickers would play well here if she paces home with that same power tonight; using. (7) BETTIMONTHERIVER may be ranked a bit low here going to Moreau's barn. The tote board will likely provide some clues with this one.
Race 10: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(5) VEYRON takes a multi-level class drop and he gets Jamieson back here. He should be tough in this spot. (7) MAGIC NIGHT stayed game last week despite being out the route. He should be a threat tonight. (1) ROYAL ESTEEM has drawn poorly for both tries in this class now he gets post relief. There are upset possibilities here. (2) THEE DESPERADO is likely to sit another good following trip and land in the Super. (10) VENUS DUHARAS is another one to consider for the High-5 with her improving form.
