Race 1: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $5,000 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(1) SMASHIN RAQUETS dropped more than 4 seconds last week in a sharp effort and he should offer a nice price in a spot where he could trip out; call to upset. (2) QUITE FAST is the obvious threat coming in off a narrow Grand Circuity loss. He's hard to leave out of the Pick 5. (6) NORTHERN MAGENTA has Grand Circuit lines and she gets Lasix for this drop into the maiden ranks. She is another obvious threat. (9) SHESUNDERTHERADAR is another with Grand Circuit lines that merits a look in a race that likely requires deep Pick 5 coverage.

Race 2: 2YO Fillies NW2 or $15,000 LT
(9) IDEAL STAR missed more than three weeks between starts but that didn't matter as she flew home in 26 2/5 to win at this level last week. She should offer a decent price starting from the widest post; call to repeat. (1) MOMENTARY CONTROL almost won a Gold two starts back and she will be an obvious threat getting class relief tonight. (2) FRESHEN UP comes off a decent effort in a fast race and I think McNair sends her this time. She could get a great trip here; using. (4) PA DELIGHT has improved with Macdonald driving and she is in the exotics mix tonight.

Race 3: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: Pop Up Starters
(3) KAMERAN HANOVER raced too well to lose last week. He is razor-sharp and he wins here if he gets a slightly easier trip. Not much went right for (1) SAYLOR last time now he gets to face easier. He is in with a decent chance tonight. (6) RED OVERBACH is right there every week and he can be dangerous here if he finds a live helmet to follow. (4) MYSTIC, winner of three of his last five, should be an exotics factor at a minimum.
Race 4: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $5,000 LT - Pick 4
(6) NIGHTIME DANCER's only start was a good third in Gold company and his qualifier on 9/17 at Flamboro Downs indicates readiness; top call. $90,000 Lexington sale purchase (8) IRRESISTIBLE dropped close to six seconds in three weeks and this is a good spot to make his debut; using. (3) BETTOR BEA TERROR is 0 for 10 but he comes off a good Grassroots try and he comes out of the fastest race. He would be no surprise here. (2) WINMEBAK gets Macdonald back here and he qualified nicely for this return. He is another in with a shot in a race with a few options.
Race 5: NW $11,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 or NWLT OPT CLM $65,000
(2) HAMMER TIME shipped north and win immediately using a third 1/4 brush and he draws the same post tonight facing similar; call to repeat. (7) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS gets a slight post position improvement coming off a solid try in a fast race and he is the one to fear. (8) SPARTAN GENERAL just missed to the choice but he draws worse here. I think he closes too late for a share. (1) RITSON can close for a small share at a price.
Race 6: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $5,000 - Pick 5
This is a field that (2) SOUTHWIND COORS should beat and I expect him to get an aggressive steer; top call. (7) THUNDEROUSLY was close at this level two starts back and he can be a threat dropping back to face maidens again tonight. (1) MERCHANTMAN gets the leading driver and he can improve enough to take a share here. (5) YANK MY HALO's good late kick should get him a spot in the Super.
Race 7: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4
I thought (7) UP JOEYS CREDIT was really good in defeat last week and he gets post position advantage on the rival that beat him that night; top call. (10) NIGHT SHADOW produced a big kick in the final 1/8th of a mile to get past the choice and he is in the mix again despite drawing widest. (8) RAISING SAND made two moves when third to the top two and he should be in the exotics again. (4) LA PLAYA DEO rallied for a slice in a very fast mile for conditioned claimers and he can be part of the Tri or Super here.
Race 8: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW2 or $15,000 LT
(1) SANTANA HANOVER gets top billing here coming off a mile where he was beat less than two lengths by some of the best rookie pacing colts in North America. (4) BROOKDALE MIKI looked good in his local debut while dropping six seconds; Exacta factor. (6) COOP A LOOP comes off a good try in the Golds and he should close to get a good piece of this. (2) WE SHALL SEA is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics with Macdonald in the bike.

Race 9: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000
(4) STARLIGHT DANCER was totally blocked for the entire stretch drive last time vs. Gold fillies and she gets top call despite having missed 3 1/2 weeks. (7) ARIZONA was much better with Cullen in the bike as expected and she is a threat right back coming off that impressive maiden win. (1) IPANEMA HANOVER should get another good following trip and land in the Tri. (3) PHENOM SEELSTER should improve dropping out of a fast Grassroots race; price look.
Race 10: NW $2,000 L3
(5) SO NOT COOL should benefit from getting hung the mile in his return race and he should be plenty tight for a good try from a much better post here; top call. (10) TREASURED TEE is obviously one of the best in here but he draws worst. He can win but I wouldn't take a short price. (4) SOMBRE should get another good trip racing near the front and his good tactical speed makes him a threat. (2) MAGIC WANDA should pass some of these late and land in the bottom of the Tri or Super. (6) SWAN BY LAND's local debut wasn't bad and he is another that can come on late to take a share.
