Race 1: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $16,000 LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

(3) CERSEI DE VIE was a Grassroots winner at Georgian Downs two starts back and she will probably handle these if she stays flat tonight; top call. (5) IRISH CHARM and (2) MONEYWORTH finished close together in a race where they both showed late interest and neither would be a surprise in this spot. I'll put them both on my Pick 5 ticket. (4) LADIES FIRST's race in the Pure Ivory series two starts back qualifies her as a contender with these, but she is another who is coming off a break in stride; your call.

Race 2: 2YO Fillies NW $11,000 LT

(2) QUEBECOISE, a homebred 1/2-sister to $334,000 earner Quebec Blue Chip, lands in a good spot for her debut. I'll give this Team Steacy pupil the edge. (7) IVORY HANOVER showed some late interest in her debut and I expect she will get put into the race tonight from the widest post which isn't horrible in a 7-horse field; using. (6) FROMAKINGTOAQUEEN really improved in her latest qualifier and she is another in with a shot on debut here. (1) TERROR BEACH, 4th to the choice in the 8/24 qualifier, is worth a look for the exotics.

Race 3: 4YO and Younger NW 1 or $7,000 LT

Another tough race for maiden trotters here. I'll side with (8) CALLISTO DREAM who comes off a nice effort and picks up driver Henry, who had some choices. (6) TREND produced a 28 1/5 kicker in her local debut and she is worth using in the Pick 5. (4) FLANAGAN DESTINY figures to be close with these, but he has built a 0 for 15 record to date and I wouldn't take a short price here. (9) ARCHIMED ALPHA got a needed clean line in a tough race and he would be rated higher had he drawn a better post.

Race 4: F&M NW2 or $18,500 LT - Pick 4

(5) DEJA VU SEELSTER blew up the tote board in her first start for Budd Friday night and I'll give her the call to repeat on the quick comeback. (6) KATYS DELIGHT is the obvious danger based on her good effort at this level two starts back and she is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (9) VILLAGE JADE is another whose form is good enough to win this, but she is in between Grassroots starts and she draws widest, so there is some added risk here. (7) MARETRAFFICCONTROL made up some ground in the same race the choice won and I can see her taking a share.

Race 5: 2YO NW2 or $10,000

I like the way (1) P P E finished in his debut and if he can get away a little quicker here, he should have a good chance of breaking his maiden. (9) THREEPOINTBLUECHIP is a rarity in that The Stable.ca shelled out $115,000 U.S. for him, which is not a typical purchase for them. He looks ready to produce a good effort on debut and Macdonald chose him over the choice; using. (5) KIPPER WHIPR SNIPR was excellent in a Gold race but price is gone now and I'm not convinced he is a lock in this spot. I'll play to beat him if he is a big chalk. (7) ARMSTEAD COLE raced well in defeat on debut and he can take another share here.

Race 6: CLAIMING HDCP $13,000 to $18,000 - Pick 5

(7) JAYDENS PLACE got hung the mile and he stubbornly hung in there. Losing by only two lengths. He can beat these at a price with a better trip. (4) NO TIME AT ALL was motoring late and he is another that is worth a look at a price here for the late Pick 5. (5) MAINTENANCE MAN goes for Moreau and the likely pacesetter should go favored here. He often gets soft late which makes it hard for me to take a short price on him but he is obviously capable of leading all the way. (1) ART OF FIRE should be good for a small share taken off a stalking trip.

Race 7: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $16,000 - Pick 4

(7) HERSHEY SEELSTER was an easy winner vs. similar last week here and she gets the call to repeat. (2) STELLA ALPHA should improve on her decent showing when making her first start over this track last week and she is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (1) ANGELONIA was a Grassroots winner on debut and has faced much tougher since. She's not out of this but I don’t love the rail post for her. I'll use her underneath. (6) MAGICAL ANGEL shows two decent tries in a row and from a good post she figures to get another good trip racing close to the front; small share predicted.

Race 8: 2YO NW1 or $12,500 LT

(4) HEART OF DIXIE roared home in a very good debut mile and he can beat these if he starts his move earlier. (7) MIKALOB ULTRA has missed some time since notching an impressive maiden score and he changes barns here. He should be right there if he is sharp enough. (6) KOBRA KAI finished ahead of the choice in a good debut effort and he is another possibility in a competitive field. (3) SLICK RICHARD finished only 1/2-length behind the choice. Give him a look for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: PREFERRED

(1) ONEY HALL seems to be over his gait issues and he should be tough in here drawing inside; top call. (7) ONLY FOR JUSTICE finished slightly ahead of the choice in a Canadian record-equaling mile at Georgian Downs and he should be heard from tonight; using. (5) MASS FORTUNE K exits the same race as the top two choices. I can see him passing some rivals to take a share tonight. (6) TREASURED TEE was given a rest after throwing a couple of clunkers. He can be a threat here racing near the front but I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 10: CLAIMING HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(2) STATE OF PLAY was locked in for his life in the lane last week and had zero racing room for the entire stretch drive. He is one that has been known to be able to take plenty of air so I would think he will be on the move this week; top call. (1) QUAN BLUE CHIP goes for Barrington off the claim here which is always a potent angle it seems and I'll use him on multi-race tickets tonight. (4) TRIDENT SEELSTER lowered his lifetime mark racing off the claim while beating both choices last week and he should be a threat right back. (9) JULERICA should get a better trip tonight, but from post 9 I'll be looking to beat him again. (5) FIRST CLASS HORSE rolled by some winded leaders late. I'm not sure he gets the same setup here. I'll use him underneath.
