Race 1: 2YO NW1 or $10,000 LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
(8) IM KING CONN gets to face straight maidens for the first time here and he picks up Jamieson. A big speed try is likely in this spot and he gets the nod. (2) MACHO PHIL is a firster that looks primed for Team Steacy and he is hard to leave out of the Pick 5. (6) CHIKABOOM was patiently handled to an easy win which bumped his record to a perfect 2 for 2. He has obvious talent and this jump may not be that big for him; using. (4) YARM was motoring late in the mile last week and he is another in with a chance tonight.

Race 2: WHENUWISHUPONASTAR Series 2nd Leg 2YO Fillies
(1) BEYOND THE SEA has tried to close from fifth into sub-28 final quarters in both starts which was mission impossible. In this short field, she has to get put into this race much earlier, doesn't she? I'll give her the nod over the obvious (3) FLO who looks formidable but is likely to be overbet. (4) SILENT CROSSING dropped back last week and that didn't work so a more aggressive approach is likely coming tonight. She should be in the Tri. (2) ONE LAST BET had an okay opener with former trainer Waxman driving, now she goes for Moreau and picks up Filion to drive which means sharp improvement is likely. Tab the tote for clues with this one.

Race 3: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
This race has the look of one that will feature a slow early pace so it makes sense to try to identify who will leave and zero in on those horses. I see (2) HADIKNOWNBETTER and (4) GQ MAGIC blasting to the top two spots early and one of them surviving to take the win. I'll side with the former who gets major post relief tonight. (8) R PRECIOUS PEARL raced well for driver Macdonald two starts back and he returns tonight. She is another to consider for the Pick 5. I'm not really sure why (7) P L OPPORTUNITY got hammered down to 3 to 2 last week. She raced okay to take a share and I see more of the same coming here.
Race 4: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,200 L10 - Pick 4
This is the easiest spot in a while for (3) CONBOYVILLE who gets post relief tonight, too. He should have a decent shot vs. these. (2) WIND BLOWN has been tearing around Truro Raceway recently and he switches to Doc Moore's barn here. He broke his maiden in his third start raced over this track in July 2019 and he should be in the hunt here. (7) CROSSCUT should go better vs. these. He is another in with a shot in a race where I'll go deep in the multis. (1) BIT OF LUCK raced decently against slightly better and he should get a trip here. Picking up Macdonald to drive won't hurt.
Race 5: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(8) ADASHIOUS HANOVER is one that I have been playing against for a few weeks in a row but I thought she raced very well last week and off that sharp try I'll give her the nod tonight. (7) BETTOR COUNTRY was right there with the choice at the wire and she is the one to fear here. (5) SHEZA GAMER comes out of the same race as the two choices where she got a needed clean line. She can improve here; price look. (1) MY MOTHER PEARL has been 2nd in five straight starts at Georgian Downs. That streak will likely be broken here; small share predicted.
Race 6: CLM HDCP $8,500 to $12,000 - Pick 5
This race will likely be a battle of the three fresh claims and I'll give (5) COOL ROCK the edge based on how sharp he has been recently, understanding either of the other two might get away on the deep closer. (3) TOXICITY goes for Auciello and gets a positive driver change to Drury. He was only a 1/2 length behind the choice at the wire last week and he is dangerous here. (4) JIMMY BE GOOD goes for a barn that excels with new acquisitions. He certainly isn't out of this. (6) MAINTENANCE MAN should show speed again and stick around for a small share.
Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) LT - Pick 4
(10) DEWY DEO produced a big effort here last week to finish a close 2nd to a nice colt. Drawing post 10 will help his price. I'll give him the nod over (7) LIMOGES who is very good when he stays flat but he has only done that in 60% of his races so far since racing resumed in June. (5) MAGIC WANDA is in the mix every week but she is stuck on one win; using underneath. (1) HARRY should sit a trip and come on late for a small share.
Race 8: Claiming Handicap $22,000 to $30,000
(5) JULERICA goes for Moreau off the claim while his form is peaking. He should be tough in here. (2) SEA LAIRD was a bit unlucky to get nailed by the choice last week as he had the tougher trip. He is the main danger. (6) CHIEFS BEACH is capable of better. The short field should help him. I see him in the Tri. (3) JEWELS DRAGON is another who can find his way into the Tri or Super off an inside following trip.

Race 9: 2YO NW1 or $10,000 LT
(8) COLIGNY HANOVER was impressive in victory here last week and he should repeat at a short price here. (2) CENTURY IGLESIAS closed well chasing a winner who had too good of a trip up front and could not be caught. He should be an Exacta factor again. (6) SOMIKI is a homebred out of a millionaire dam. There are some things to like here but I prefer to use him underneath on debut. (1) FROZEN HANOVER has been in fast races in both starts. He can improve enough here to land in the Super.
Race 10: CLM HDCP $13,000 to $18,000
(8) STATE OF PLAY paced a big back 1/2 on the rim to beat many of these last week and I'll give him the call to repeat in a race where he should offer a decent price. (6) PORTRSTOWNCHRIS IR is an obvious threat racing for Moreau off the claim. He was flying late last week but he was too far back to catch the top three once he got room to race. (1) STELIOS was right there on the wire and he should be in the hunt again tonight for a share. (2) ALWAYS N THE MONEY faces tougher but he gets post relief and he is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics. (4) MOSSIES ART is right there every week at Georgian Downs. This shouldn't be that much tougher that he can't get at least a check.
