Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO Colts and Geldings **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
(4) SWEET SOUL DAVID is the one to beat here coming off two runner-up finishes to some good colts. He will have to be caught tonight. (7) AWORLDLY GOODTIMES was a big winner in a strangely run race but he is a contender off that improved performance. (2) WALKONTHEMOON has a win, a 2nd, and a 3rd from three Grassroots starts this summer and he will be in the exotics mix again. (3) HARRY can take a share here if he stays flat this time.

Race 2: 2YO NW1 or $10,000 LT
This is the first time that (6) NASSAU HANOVER has faced straight maidens and he should have a good shot here. (2) HES REALLY KEEN takes a massive class drop himself and he should wake up in this spot. (5) ATHENS SEELSTER put up some good fractions while winning at Grand River and he should be a speed presence tonight. (7) HEART OF DIXIE really improved his late speed in his third qualifier and he merits a look for the Pick 5 at first asking.

Race 3: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $10,000 LT
(1) HERSHEY SEELSTER goes for connections that have been very hot this summer and I'll take a swing with her tonight after she got a needed clean line last time. (5) JAGUARA raced against some tough fillies in the Pure Ivory series and she should be fast enough to contend with these; using. (4) COMPLETE LIFE has improving form and she should get a piece of this. (3) MUSCLE ENVY figures to sit a trip and hang around to take a share.
Race 4: Claiming Handicap $13,000 to $18,000 - Pick 4
(5) LEGAL BETTOR drops and gets a big driver change to Roy. I can see him blasting to get into the pocket behind (7) MAINTENANCE MAN and then rolling by that one in the lane. (8) STATE OF PLAY is always dangerous at this level and he can take a lot of air. He’s on my multi-race tickets. (1) COOL ROCK can improve going back to Moreau here. I'll use him underneath.
Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO Colts and Geldings
(1) HIGHLAND MOWGLI fits much better in Grassroots company and Roy will likely play catch me if you can with him here; top call. (8) FOUR WHEELIN is in top for now and he is the one to fear; using. (5) DIEHARD SEELSTER got a perfect tightener vs. NW2 last week and he can't be dismissed here for a barn that excels in these races. (2) ROSIES WAR BONDS is a good one to use on the bottom of the Super at a price.
Race 6: 2YO NW1 or $10,000 LT - Pick 5
(9) SHAWN POPS wasn't asked for anything until the stretch in his debut and he responded by flying late to get the win. A repeat is within reach vs. these despite the wide draw. (1) KILIMANJARO raced okay in two straight Grassroots races and he should have a big shot in here. (6) SOUTHWIND DOMINO just failed to hold off the choice and he is an obvious contender moving off the 10-hole tonight. (2) HEADLINE MAKER showed nice early speed in an improved effort last time and he can take a share vs. these.
Race 7: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $10,000 LT - Pick 4
(7) WATCH HER DANCE was a winner vs. similar two starts back and if she repeats that 1:53 4/5 mile tonight, her rivals will be racing for 2nd. (1) SPEAKER NANCY raced decently in that mile that the choice win and with a slightly easier trip she would have a chance at the upset. (5) SAKE TUMI has improving form and she has been getting aggressive steers from Filion. She's not out of this. (8) SHEZIS A BEAUTY fits better here but from out there I prefer to use her underneath.
Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)
(9) RUBYS ARE NICE had no chance to close into a 27 2/5 kicker. She looks best here and she will be tough to beat if she gets put into the race. (5) VALI HANOVER powered up late to edge big chalk (1) MYCROWNMYKINGDOM and both figure right back here. (2) MODERN MASS comes to play every week but he seems more likely to take a small share.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO Colts and Geldings
(5) THE PRINCE was passing horses in the back 1/2 of a Gold race now he should be looking to boss these Grassroots rivals tonight; top call. (2) ROYAL TYRONE has been finishing his miles well recently and he projects to be the main danger to the choice here. (1) KILAUEA shows some good Grassroots races and he should be in the exotics mix tonight. (3) BUCKYS ANGEL should show speed and stick around for a share.
Race 10: Claiming Handicap $22,000 to $30,000
Driver Macdonald coaxed a 27 2/5 kicker out of (6) MODERN ROCK last week now he faces rivals that could hook up in an early speed duel so I'll give him the call to upset. (9) JULERICA is razor-sharp and moves to a barn that has a 2-1-3 record with six fresh claims raced this year; using. (10) SEA LAIRD is another closing type that figures here despite drawing widest. Consider using him on multi-race tickets. (8) MACH IMPACT gets claimed every week but he usually falls short; using underneath. (1) QUAN BLUE CHIP raced great from the 9-hole last week and he could better this placing if he gets a trip.
