Race 1: F&M CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000 LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
(6) REYS N A ROCKET has been racing great in Ottawa for a few weeks now she picks up leading driver Macdonald while racing off the Demers claim. She gets my nod. (7) REAR VIEW has been popular at the claim box now she goes for Bako who is 3 for 4 this year racing fresh claims. She is on my Pick 5 ticket. (2) VINES TO HEAVEN was used hard early last week because of her outside draw. She is another in with a chance here. (8) MISS ROCKADALI comes off an improved performance and she can land in the Tri or Super tonight.

Race 2: 2YO NW1 or $10,000 LT
(5) IMA STANDUP GUY was hung the mile in Grassroots company last time now he faces maidens and picks up Macdonald to drive. He should improve sharply here and he gets top billing. (4) REAL COOL MOVES last two races make him a contender in a race with little solid form; using. (2) SHAWN POPS trotted a decent final 1/4 in his lone qualifier. He is worth a look for the exotics in this field. (3) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS improved in his second start but with the trainer driving I'll use him on the bottom here.

Race 3: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $12,000 LT
(2) WINDSUN GAGA gets a major driver upgrade here after getting cooked in the opening 1/2 at Kawartha last week. I'll give her a slight nod in a tough race. (1) CHELSIS CHOICE comes off her best race to date and that occurred with McClure in the bike. That pilot sticks and she is worth a look for the Pick 5. (9) KATHYS MOMENT flew home to win at Georgian and picking up Macdonald here won't hurt; using. (8) CARSONS GOUDA should close for a small share.
Race 4: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) - Pick 4
(9) UP AND READY was right there in a fast Gold mile last time and she could lead this group all the way if she clears early; top call. (2) RUBYS ARE NICE finished like a wild horse two starts back and if she gets a covered trip she could pounce late here; using. (8) URNTROUBLE HANOVER used an explosive late brush to win a Grassroots race here last week and while this is a tougher assignment, he isn't without a chance. (7) DIEHARD SEELSTER raced decently last week and I see him taking a share here.
Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO FILLIES
Nice Gold stake here, I'll side with (5) SILVER LABEL who has options starting from the middle of the gate and has improved in every start. (10) LOVE THAT SMILE was dynamite winning The Battle Of The Belles and she has to be considered here despite drawing wide. (3) DARBY OGILL is a sneaky longshot play here having closed some ground on a track that was massively speed-biased at Grand River. I'll use her as a potential bomb in the multi-race bets. (6) BIG BETTOR HANOVER has been right there every start and she should be in the exotics mix again.
Race 6: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $10,000 LT - Pick 5
(4) WARRAWEE XENIA is back with maidens after blowing up in the Pure Ivory series and she should be tough if she stays flat. (2) GYRE HANOVER is another who had gait issues last time that figures to be right there if she can stay flat. (7) POCAHONTAS raced okay on debut vs. better and she is another possibility in a race that could be determined by who trots and who gallops. (1) MAGICAL ANGEL comes off a solid effort at long odds and she is another possibility.
Race 7: CLAIMING HANDICAP $13,000 to $18,000
(2) COOL ROCK drops one level and lands in a spot that seems to be perfect for his deep-closing style; top call. (1) STELIOS had some late pace in the lane last week but he was forced to follow the winner who inched away late to win. He is in with a shot here. (7) JAYDENS PLACE had an impossible trip last week and he has upset possibilities here; using. (5) MAINTENANCE MAN has been sharp lately but I’m not sure he will maintain his form racing off a claim tonight. I'll use him underneath.
Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4
(2) MYCROWNMYKINGDOM, the 1/2-brother to 2013 Dan Patch Horse of the Year Bee A Magician, should beat these if he stays flat; enough said. (6) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN has changed tactics recently mainly due to drawing poorly. He gets one of the best posts and an opportunity to possibly lead all the way if he blasts; using. (4) VALI HANOVER made a nice middle move in his most recent start and he is another one to consider for multi-race tickets. (5) STORM TROTTER is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics on debut here.
Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO FILLIES
(2) PROHIBITION LEGAL is 2 for 2 in Gold races for a barn that has been going well all summer. She will have to handle (8) BALANCE, who was outstanding winning here last week and is likely to go of favored tonight. (6) IN THE MOOD is another with a perfect record but she dives into the deep end here. She might find the top two choices too tough. (5) FLO will be in the hunt for a share if she stays flat.

Race 10: CLAIMING HANDICAP $22,000 to $30,000
(1) STATE OF PLAY steps up and he will need to be faster to keep his win streak alive, but he has won his last two off near-impossible parked out trips and if he can stay covered to the lane, he might spring the upset. (8) JULERICA and (7) MACH IMPACT are both sharp and they both go to top claiming outfits. They are hard to leave off Pick 5 tickets. (4) MODERN ROCK raced decently last week and he can take another slice tonight.
Race 11: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(3) INTENSE JUSTICE was used up early last week and he understandably tired. He gets a big post improvement here; slight nod in a wide-open race. (1) KUIL DEVA was facing tougher when last seen here and her qualifiers say she is ready; using. (8) NEVER MIND N is more than capable at this level if he is close to right. Auciello's barn has been running hot and I'll use him in the late Pick 4. (4) ACE BI comes off a nice closing effort and he can take a slice here. (7) STORMONT CHARLOTTE gets Jamieson back for a second drive. I can see her crashing the exotics at a price.
