Race 1: 2YO Fillies NW $5,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(6) WICKED LEADER paced much faster than these in a Gold race where she was beaten less than three lengths and Henry will probably look to send her right down the road facing straight maidens tonight. (3) MAKE OUT WITH ME produced a nice rally vs. Grassroots rivals in Sarnia last time. She should get more aggressive here and she is worth a look for the early Pick 5 getting the leading driver in the bike tonight. (7) SHE COMES AND GOES debut race was good enough to suggest that she can take a share vs. these. Debutante (2) TWIN B EMPRESS has three siblings to race and only one of them is a winner. I am inclined to watch her in this initial start.

Race 2: Winners of 4 (F&M5) but not more than 6 (F&M7) or $80,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $60,000
(7) WARRAWEE YANG just took a new lifetime mark in a strong effort and I’m not sure this is a big jump in class. I'll give him the nod to repeat. (5) MIDNIGHT MIRACLE loses Young to the choice, but Roy is a capable replacement. This mare should be better this week returning to a 7-day cycle; using. (1) BELLA CAVALLA totally tripped out last week, but her strong late kick always makes her a threat. (2) WARRAWEE XALT hasn't been great since the Moreau claim. I'll play to beat him here.

Race 3: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT
(8) MUFFERAW JOE finished 2nd to a colt that has already come back to repeat vs. better and he gets top billing vs. this group. (1) THE SERPENT is 0 for 10, but his last start is his best to date. He can be a threat here. (3) BAR DOWN JIM has raced well at this track before, and he gets McNair tonight; price look. (7) PEETIE qualified decently for this debut, and it isn't the toughest maiden field you'll ever see. He should be good for a share at first asking.
Race 4: 5YO and younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M6) or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000 - Pick 4
Tough race. I'll side with (2) UNBEATABLE KEMP who can improve in this second start for the Fellows barn. (7) SOUTHWIND DOMINO, a winner at this level two starts back, made front passing the opening 1/4 last week then took a shuffle after two lead changes. He can be dangerous racing near the front here. (8) BARONESS HILL is capable, but she draws widest in an obvious prep situation. I'll use her underneath. (4) LAST PAIGE FIRST should be good for another slice in this spot.
Race 5: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT
(9) TACTICAL PLANNER should like the drop from open stakes company to non-winners of two and she also adds Lasix tonight. She will be a single for me in this cozy spot. (8) WEDDING DANCER raced well from the 10-hole with trotting hopples on for the first time and she can be an Exacta factor here. (7) STORMONT DIVIDE was impressive winning in her second try at this level, and she should be right there again. (6) TWIN B SHOWMANCE should get a better start leaving from the best post. She should be in the exotics mix this time.
Race 6: 2YO fillies NW $5,000 LT - Pick 5
(7) QUITE BEACHY gets one of the biggest driver changes possible here and she could wake up in a big way with J Mac at the controls; top call. (5) SWEET REPORT drops from the Golds and if she stays flat, she should wake up in this spot; using. (2) PREMIER HEIRESS was in to qualify on Monday so she would have likely scratched out of that race or this one. If she goes here with four weeks between qualifying and racing it really will be a guessing game, but her initial qualifier was good. (3) ONE MORE BET draws inside for the first time and she is another that can improve sharply here.
Race 7: 5YO and younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M6) or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000 - Pick 4
J Mac opts for (6) HP EXTRA ICE over others here and she can handle this group if she gets a reasonable trip. (7) EDEN ONTHEHILL was 2nd to a colt thought highly enough of that he tried the Hambo elims on Saturday. He is sharp and dangerous in this spot. (9) DEADLINE HALL is another that is sharp, but I prefer to use him underneath starting from out there. (2) DOWEDEALINANDWHY is worth a look for the exotics on the barn change.
Race 8: 2YO fillies NW $5,000 LT
Tough race here. (6) LE BEC FIN showed some go in a Grassroots race in Sarnia and I'll give her a slight nod. (7) KISS MY CHEEK flashed high early speed on the same day in a different Grassroots race. She is possible here. (1) WEDNESDAY gets McNair back and she should be a factor if she stays flat. $19,000 Lexington buy (3) DRINKSINTHESAND is the third foal from her dam and her two siblings are winners. She can contend for a share on debut.

Race 9: 3YO fillies Grassroots starters in 2023
Not much went right for (4) SOUTHWIND CHARDNAY in Ottawa in her last start. I'll put a line through that race. She can get back on track here. (3) THE BALLYKEEL DEAL is sharp, and she has a recency edge on some of these, but she loses Borth to the choice. McClure is obviously a capable replacement, and she is a threat. (7) SHINY NEW PENNY got hung out to dry last time but she did get a clean line. She should contend for a share. (1) MATCH MEIF YOU CAN brings decent from into this race, and she should be part of the exotics.
Race 10: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(8) FRENCHY HANOVER showed enough in the back 1/2 of her last start to suggest that she can beat this nondescript field. (4) LAVA FIELD is 0 for 22 but he is sharp and l use this could be his spot. I'll use him on late multi-race tickets. (6) CACTUSTOTHECLOUDS figures to be good for another share here. (5) PAVED THE WAY is capable of better than he showed last week. I could see him leaving faster and sticking around for a share. (10) MY INCREDIBLE MVP can be used underneath.
