(4) ALLSTAR MANIAC is the one to beat here after setting some big early splits racing over an off track in a Gold race on debut. He gets the leading driver now and top billing here. (9) SCRATCHIN AN ITCH should improve back in with maidens. Note in his debut race vs. NW1 LT he paced a 26 1/5 kicker. I think Cullen leaves with him tonight and that makes him a threat. $60,000 Lexington buy (7) BRIGADE is a 1/2 to 1:51 (f) pacer Cultured. His lone winning qualifier suggests that he can contend at first asking; using. (3) JOEL AND THE JETS gets sent out by Doc Moore who always seems to send them ready but I’m not sure he offers much value here. I’ll use him underneath.

Race 2: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $8,000 LIFETIME

(8) BELLE BUTTON didn’t show much at Tioga in a NYSS with the trainer driving now she faces maidens and gets Macdonald in the bike. It’s go time. (6) IVY LYNN closed too late as the odds-on chalk in a Grassroots race last week. She should be right there vs. these assuming she gets put into the race early enough. (2) EARTHA KITT produced a nice late rally from far back to grab a Grassroots 2nd on debut. She will likely get bet heavily here and she is capable, but the top two choices will probably offer more value. (4) GEORGIA SEELSTER can improve enough in this second start to sneak into the exotics.

Race 3: WHENUWISHUPONASTAR: 2 YEAR OLD PACING FILLIES. LEG 1

The way that (6) AU JUS HANOVER won her debut suggests that she could be anything and I’ll give her the nod here. (7) SPOILED BEAUTY, 1/2 to both Sportswriter and Precocious Beauty, also was very impressive on debut. She will likely be the one to catch here. (4) LITTLE PAPI, a two move winner on 7/11, should contend for a good share here. (5) LADY GAMBLER went inside one pylon in the lane which was deemed taking an unfair advantage and she got set back. She was loaded in the lane that night and she is a longshot with a chance here.

Race 4: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $8,000 LIFETIME - Pick 4

(7) P L SPENCER squandered a high placing in a Grassroots race when he broke in the lane in his debut. I’ll give him another chance. Facing maidens this time. $45,000 Lexington purchase (5) TREGARON is from the first crop of sire Propulsion. This gelding showed enough in the back 1/2 of his lone qualifier to suggest he can contend on debut; using. (6) LITTLE ARROW produced a nice closing kick in hos debut and he is another that merits a look for early multi-race tickets. (8) CENTURY LEGION raced better in his most recent start. He is in the exotics mix here.

Race 5: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000

(2) BAD EYE BILL produced a strong first-over winning effort racing off the Moreau claim last week, and he gets the call to repeat. (8) TREACHEROUS TOM moved into Barrington’s barn, crushed and took a new life’s mark. Price is gone now and I’m not sure he can fire two of those bullets in a row. (10) HES SWIFT has been racing well against streaking Order One To Go the past few weeks but he gets the worst of it here drawn widest; using underneath. (7) INSTANTANEOUS should be good for another small share in this spot.

Race 6: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $8,000 LIFETIME - Pick 5

(5) SUGAR PIE HONEY is unveiled by Millar Farms/Gallucci sporting two nice qualifying efforts where she was dialing the leader in late both times. She will likely drop three or four seconds tonight; top call. (1) DUCHESS DEO is the clear main rival coming in off an impressive debut effort where her strong late rally fell just short. (3) DEE should improve by default dropping out of Golds. She is in the exotics mix. Debutante (7) ALWAYS DAWN improved in her second qualifier. She can get a slice here.

Race 7: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $8,000 LIFETIME - Pick 4

(3) COVER BAND was motoring late in his debut, and he simply ran out of racetrack. He can beat these if he starts his move earlier. (5) THE BEAR A CUDA was Macdonald’s choice of four in here and his debut vs. Grassroots company was okay. He is in with a chance tonight. (4) NORTHERN DRIFTER raced decently in a Grassroots race in his second start, and he can be a speed threat here; using. (8) MACTHENIGHT gets off the rail after ending up first-over in his last two starts. I think he sits and rallies late this time and makes it into the exotics.

Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $14,000 TO $18,000

(8) MR BEAST gets Henry in the bike tonight and that probably means that a big speed try is coming. I’ll stick with him. (5) LETS GET ROCKED gets our attention being claimed by Budd and I could see him being the pocket sitter in this spot. He is the other one that I’ll use on late multi-race tickets. (4) BETTORHOLDONTIGHT benefits by getting off the rail tonight. He can get a better start and land in the money. (7) THRILLING TIMES has taken shares in several fast miles recently. He is a good one to use underneath.

Race 9: NW $2,950 LAST 3 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. AE: NW $4,000 IN 2024

(7) NORTHERN CHARLOTTE could only follow along after Twin B Archie stole a 59 middle 1/2 last time. I think she gets sent right down the road in this third start back. (1) DEVILS ARCH took a lot of play last week but it appears the main objective was to get around cleanly coming in off breaks in stride in two straight races. His price should be better this time and he could be much closer. (4) LASS SHOT raced well against uncatchable Mister Magic last week. She should be in the mix again. (3) OKEANOS can win here if he stays flat, but that proposition seems like a coin flip at best; your call.

Race 10: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $10,000

(7) HERESTHATMANAGAIN produced a nice late rally in a good field last time at Georgian and he is obviously sharp. He’s won here several times in the past and he fits well vs. these; top call. (8) HIGHLAND BEACH BOY is the one to beat on the class drop and he is hard to leave off late multi-race tickets. (4) DELIGHTFUL MAGIC gets J Mac in the bike racing off the Demers claim and coming off a win and he is another in with a shot in a race with a few options. (3) SUNSHINE LOVE rarely misses the board, and he should be part of the exotics here. (9) BRING YOUR FIRE will likely get positioned in the top five early and stick around for a small slice.
