He can win here if he lands in the top half of the field leaving out of there. He gets the nod to kick off the early Pick 5. Homebred (2) ALL VALLEY is a 1/2 to 24-time winner New Legacy ($201K, 1:54 F). He showed enough in his lone qualifier to suggest he can be a player on debut. (3) LMC WAGON WHEEL beat the choice by 3/4 of a length in his debut. He is another that merits a look here based on that solid effort. $60K London sale buy (7) NORTHERN DRIFTER flashed good speed in his lone qualifier and he is related to several winners. He is another to consider in a race with several options. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW $14,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $70,000 AE: NW $115,000 LT AE: N/A $2,515 P/S IN 2024 (2) HP MAMA B raced decently facing the best aged trotting mares in North America in her last four starts and she fits well here in a spot where she should offer some value; top call. (6) ADARE CASTLE stole some cheap fractions last week then held the persistent pocket sitter at bay down the lane. I’m not sure she will get the same respect here on the class rise, but she is obviously in with a good shot again, although she will probably get over bet. (1) PATRIARCH HANOVER drops, and he gets McNair back. He is another that can be used in the early Pick 5. (3) DEALIN WITH DEWEY raced great in defeat to the choice last week but this is a stronger field. I’ll use him on the bottom. Race 3: 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT (9) BARSTOOL MOUNTAIN is risky with the breaks he shows on his card, but if he can stay flat and improve any off his June 25th qualifier, his rivals will probably be racing for 2nd tonight. (2) GANSBAAI got bet down to favorite in his local debut and he fired a big kicker to get 3rd. He is in with a big shot here if he can get positioned closer to the front; using. (8) DEUCE HANOVER is improving every start and he has enough gate speed to land in the top five leaving. He is another that merits a look for the early Pick 5. (4) CONCEALED could do no better than 4th as the even money favorite last week. He will likely finish on the fringes again. Race 4: 2YO fillies NW1 or $5,000 LT - Pick 4 Homebred (2) LASTING DREAM is the first foal to race from a high class dam that earned close to $900K and won early at two. I’m thinking there will be some value here because I see at least one of tonight’s rivals getting bet heavier. (3) BEERSNSUNSHINE DEO dropped six seconds in eight days, and she is an obvious threat on paper, but she could get over bet. (5) SILVER MANALISHI is another that improved sharply in her second qualifier. It’s hard to leave her off multi-race tickets. (10) BADEN BADEN was moving well late in her debut. She could crash the exotics at a price this time. Race 5: CLM HDCP $19,000 to $24,000 (8) BAD EYE BILL moved first-over and jogged at this level racing off the Lester claim last week and he took a new lifetime mark. He faces a similar field here tonight; call to repeat. (3) MR BEAST was out of position, but he missed close to three weeks. He can improve in his second start off the claim and this barn typically gets bet when its live. The tote board will probably provide some clues with this one. (2) THRILLING TIMES raced okay at Grand River, and he can take a share here. (7) MAINTENANCE MAN had no answer for the choice’s third 1/4 assault last week. I’ll use him underneath. Race 6: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $5,000 LT - Pick 5 (9) STMIKES KERRYBLUES raced well in defeat in his debut, and he will likely be an overlay tonight starting from a wide post; price play. (2) GUCCI GUCCI GOO qualified well on 6/8 and he can be a player here if he is tight enough. (5) DAY is the first foal to race out of a $700K winning dam and the homebred adds Lasix for this debut. He is another in with a shot in a tricky race. $30K Lexington buy (7) NIGHT PHANTOM trotted a good kicker in his lone qualifier. He should be in the exotics mix. Race 7: F&M 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT - Pick 4 In a field that seems bereft of fast leavers, I think McNair sends (6) STAY LUCKY on a speed mission starting from the best post; top call. (9) YS FLOWERNUMBERTEN picks up Roy here and she has shown that she can fly off the gate when she stays flat; using. (1) RAFFLE WINNER is getting closer, and McClure chose her over the choice and the #3. She would be no surprise in this spot. (2) ACEFORTYFOUR BELLA got too far back last week, and she closed for a slice. I think she suffers the same fate here and I’ll use her underneath. Race 8: NW $22,000 L5 AE: OPT. CLM. $90,000. AE: NW 8 (FM 9) LT (6) LOCATELLI is back in the same class as last start, but this is an easier field. He can win here if he starts his move early enough. (4) STONEBRIDGE BRAVO has excelled in Moreau’s barn and her tactical speed makes her a player despite stepping up. A threepeat is possible. (3) MRMAYOR HANOVER exits the same race as the choice, and he will likely look for a trip here after trying the engine to no avail last time. He is another that merits a look for late multi-race tickets. (5) PASSARINO has never been better, and he is in the exotics mix again here. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: CLM HDCP $30,000 to $40,000 You know (5) ORDER ONE TO GO is razor sharp when he changes tactics and makes an early move that leads to a win. Facing a similar field here, he gets the call to repeat. (6) SWEET DEISEL released the choice in a 28-flat 2nd quarter then followed him home. He is the main threat on paper. (3) COALITION skipped a week now he adds Lasix. Lester’s barn has been hot, but this gelding has his work cut out here; using underneath. (7) HES SWIFT followed the top two home last time and he continues to race well. He should be part of the exotics again. Race 10: NW $2,170 L3 AE: NW $10,550 IN 2024 (MIN 5 STARTS) (1) MACALLAN had a start now he takes a class plunge where he can do some damage; top call. (9) JOKIC trotted a good mile on the rim but never got close enough. Importantly for him, he stayed trotting. He can win here if he gets put into the race earlier. (6) NORTHERN CHARLOTTE won more that 1/4 of her starts last year and she looks primed for a good effort in this 2024 debut; using. (2) ARCHIMEDES raced well for Whelan last week and got a clean line. He is worth a look at what should be a square price tonight. (3) MUSCLE FASHION is capable of better than he has shown so far this season. I can see him taking a share here.
