Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Second Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
Undefeated (7) TIMONIER gets hot driver Filion, who won six races on Friday, for this, and he is the one to beat as he seeks the threepeat. (2) FLOYD THE FREAK looked good winning his debut, confidently turning back the favorite in the lane. He should be the main threat here. (5) I AM SPEED drops out of Golds after breaking and he should be fast enough to go with these Grassroots rivals. He could do here if he stays trotting. (8) RESOLVE TO WIN was decent in his debut and the leading driver sticks. He can land a share here.

Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT
(6) PETIPOU was right there after setting the pace in his 2022 debut and he is clearly a faster horse at four. I'll give him a slight nod in a tough race. (7) HE BEE SUNNY gets away from killer Persistent Boy here and he could improve sharply at a price; using. (4) SUNNY ZIP has also faced some tough customers recently. He is another in with a shot here. (2) DONT POKE THE BEAR likely takes another small share here.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Second Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings
(4) DARBYSHIRE won his debut for trainer Bax who seems to be loaded with two-year-old trotting talent this year. I’ll give him the call to repeat here. (7) AIRBORNE drops out of the Golds and he is sure to get put into action early. He is a threat to lead all the way. (3) TAKE ON ME was either going to win his debut or come very close if he didn't run in the lane. He will be a contender if he stays flat. (5) LAVA FIELD is another dropping from the Golds. He can land in the bottom of the exotics.
Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $22,500 LT - Pick 4
(6) ILLUSIONAL has the best late kick in here and this is an easier NW2 field than he has faced in his past couple of starts; call to upset. (7) IMA STANDUP GUY is 1 for 25 but he improved last week. He is in with a shot vs these. (5) RADIO LAB put it all together to score his maiden win last time and this isn't the toughest NW2; using. (1) ROYALTYS ROCKET is sharp and he should be good for a share vs. these.
Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Second Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings
(9) BEACON BEACH drops into Grassroots after firing a 26 4/5 kicker in Gold company. You have to think Roy will be leaving with him here; top call. (1) HASTY BID raced great on debut he just ran out of racetrack. He is in with a good chance tonight. (5) FOX VALLEY ONTARIO, a $14K Land of Lincoln Sale buy, qualified fast enough on 7/8 to suggest he will contend at first asking. He is in the exotics mix. (4) MUNDO’s debut was solid. He can take a slice tonight.
Race 6: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 5
(3) IM ON THE EDGE paced a big back 1/2 on debut and this is a good spot for veteran driver Randy Waples to take his first win of 2022. (8) SOUND BITE HANOVER stacks up well facing maidens again. She should be right there with these. (1) ADDISON SEELSTER should also improve tonight but I prefer to use her underneath. (5) SHADOW N REDSHONEY is worth a look for the exotics moving into the Barrington barn.
Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Second Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings
(3) BUSTING WITH PRIDE raced okay on debut now he gets the bigger track. I expect a more aggressive try here and he gets top billing. $47,000 Lexington sale buy (5) HAMILTON DE VIE is the 7th foal from his dam and the first 6 are all winners. He looks ready for a good showing on debut. (8) RFLS JASPER will probably show speed here and he is a threat to lead all the way if he stays flat. (7) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER should be good for a slice in this spot.
Race 8: NW6 or $100,000 LT - Pick 4
(4) VALI HANOVER was driven hard on the engine by McNair in two consecutive races in June and it seemed to toughen him up. He benefitted when a couple of contenders broke last week, but he was never in danger and he trotted to a new life's mark; call to repeat. (7) LEXUS KODY comes off two solid tries in a row. He should be the main threat. (3) STAY CLOSE was no match for the choice last week. He likely takes a small slice here. (2) RITSON should be part of the exotics if he stays flat tonight.
Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Second Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings
(5) MUSCLE LINE raced great on debut to just miss and he gets the nod here. (1) TUSCAN PRINCE as a victim of pace in Clinton. He is an obvious contender here. (6) DARK HAMMOCK ROAD qualified fast enough to win this, but his dam has produced only one winner from three that have raced and two others that never made a start. I wouldn't take a short price here. (2) LEADING RESOLVE shouldn’t get parked here like he did in his did in his debut at Clinton. He’s worth using in the bottom of the exotics at a price.

Race 10: NW $2,750 L3
(8) CONQUEST AS was solid in defeat here on Friday night and I like that he swings back quickly; top call. (7) VILLEFRANCHE AS drops to the bottom here and she almost has to contend by default at this level; using. (1) HEAVENSDOOR HANOVER seems to be coming around and there are none as good as the winner of his most recent start. He has a chance in here. (6) VICTOR INVICTUS improved here on Friday when 3rd behind the choice. He can hit the board again here.
Race 11: 3YO Fillies Grassroots starters
(3) I LOVE ONGAIT took a new life's mark when she won her first race of the season last time. She looks like a lock on paper, but keep in mind this is not a Grassroots points race before you bet the rent money. (2) DELIGHT BAYAMA paced faster than ever before while finishing 2nd in her 2022 debut. I won't be shocked if she sat the pocket and got by the choice on the shadow of the wire. (6) QUEBECOISE was motoring late in her most recent start. She should close for another slice here. (9) GIRL IN A TAVERN is sharp but I'm not sure what trip she will get from out there; using underneath. (1) MORETHANMYHOMETOWN can pass a few of these late and land in the bottom of the exotics.
