(1) ELODIE HANOVER comes out of a fast race where she lacked room at a key point. Very short price to graduate. (4) ROCK SOLID LOVE was a short priced winner 7/1 at Georgian and now gets the big track. (8) PAM is a Moore debut with improving qualifiers. Barn expects speed but must overcome post. (5) SEA GLASS is a Blais first timer who also looked better in second prep. All need improvement to catch choice here.

Race 2: Claiming Handicap $25-30000

(3) SKYLAR gets claimed every week and has been in the exacta five straight and ten times this year. He's usually up close early and that makes him tough. (5) FLYING ART A uses his speed at this level but has struggled to finish it off late. Short field helps him grab an early spot. (6) ROCK AND TWIST gets a better post but has been against the flow recently. Needs speed to hook up and then he’s in play. (2) JM JACK OF HEARTS has plenty of back class with his 140 lifetime starts. Outraced odds in last off step up.

Race 3: 5 YO and Younger NW 1 Race or $7500 Life

(6) LEAVE IT TO LEO looks obvious after solid debut when he just missed while favored. Improvement likely for sharp barn. (4) MUFFERAW JOE has had plenty of chances but only one win. Speed vs choice in latest but couldn't hold until late. (3) BET I CAN STEEL has three straight at Sarnia at short odds. Has speed on the small track, may need at different trip vs these. (1) D A JIMINY CRICKET lost to repeater in last, takes $ every start. Share could be ceiling.

Race 4: NW $26,500 last Five Starts - Pick 4

(8) ONEY HALL May have found the right spot here. Was very sharp 6/26 with 26/4 kick then ran into 'Park. Too far back in latest, I think he's closer now. (3) SPARTAN GENERAL has been back on his game recently with sub :27 kicks. Steps up but his class is unquestioned. (5) PENBERTON is hit and miss but ultra-talented. 6/19 line shows his best race. (1) TRUFFLES TOO outraced odds 7/4 with solid kick. New pilot needs to put him in the mix to be effective.

Race 5: OSS Gold LEG 2. 3 YO Pacing Fillies

(7) CHEESY SMILE is the best of these at this level. Her style makes her tough to back because she rallies from far off the pace. Grabbed last Gold from (11) BETTORS PUNCH by a nose 6/2. Choice missed a month and added Lasix in last. 'Punch Looked sharp with 26/3 kick 7/8. (9) LYONS BETTORDAY is another having a nice season with 123k on the card with only one win. Will likely look to produce huge kick again. (4) FAVORITE BEACH could end up blasting here with all the closers signed up. She's holding her own at this level.

Race 6: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in one of last four starts. AE: N/A $1,810 P/S in 2023. AE: Opt Clm $45000 - Pick 5

(4) WHITE TIGER grabbed a win and confidence at short odds 7/8 at Georgian. Looks to blast and control this now. (8) ALL WRAPPED UP comes out of the best races in last two and he kicked in both. Post puts him far back early again. (7) OKEANOS is sharp this year but busted early 7/4. The missed time plus recent bust make him difficult to trust. (2) MAJESTIC J dropped to the bottom 7/11 and crushed. Steps up but speed again grabs a share.

Race 7: 2 YO Colts and Geldings: NW $5000 Lifetime - Pick 4

(3) SUPPLEMENTAL FEE kicked 27 in 6/27 race then has qualified since. Speed to chase now. (4) TOTALLY TOXIC comes out of a fast qualifier where he rolled late. Connections can get one ready. (9) AT EASE HANOVER blasted early on debut for Moore. Benefitted from placing in that spot. I'm expecting speed again but post and stablemate (8) TWIN B HUNGERGAMES May cause a tussle. That one lost to chalk 7/7 but didn’t disgrace.

Race 8: 5 YO and Younger NW 1 Race or $7000 Life AE: N/A $460 P/S last 5

(2) CRUISING TOM is 0 for 18 but may not find a better spot to break maiden. Last two faced tougher in fast races. (10) MYINCREDIBLE MVP has three straight wins out of town and ships in facing struggling bunch. Post difficult to overcome here but looks capable given recent form. (5) PILLOW THIEF has started career well with four straight ITM finishes. Driver will keep price high, will rally late. (9) LAVA FIELD is another that has lived at this level. Took $ in last and rallied wide. One day he will get there.

Race 9: 5 YO and Younger NW 2 Races or $20,000 life

(5) R ROYAL PORT had back to back preps with latest being 55/1 mile. That line likely wins this race but he hasn't been seen this year. (1) SWEET CARRIE T draws inside and gets back to a condition race. She’s been solid in grassroots races just needs a trip now. (4) GRAND SPA is another lightly raced sort that returned 7/11. Early bust and recovery with 28/2 kick. If he behaves he will be right there but…..(2) THE GREAT EMOTION gets hobbles back and a far better post. There are rallies on the page that would give him a look here.

Race 10: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in one of last four starts. AE: N/A $1,810 P/S in 2023. AE: Opt Clm $45000

(7) DERF HANOVER gets a different bunch and a better post. Henry blast looms and he controls this. (1) RENEGADE GYPSY has been better in two of his last three. Back to big track and JMac driving. (2) DWS POINT MAN won 245k last year but is struggling right now. This is a drop, could grab a piece for top connections. (9) VICTOR INVICTUS won 7/4 with nice rally. Posts haven’t been kind to him but he has thirty lifetime shares. (4) VILLEFRANCHE AS is always dangerous with his speed and consistency. Was even last time vs these types.
