Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO FILLIES **GTD $75,000 Pick 5**

(1) MARY KAT was kept tight in a conditioned race on July 3rd and the filly that zoomed by her late in a Grassroots race two starts back has already come back to win again. She looks good in here. (6) SAULSBROOK RAVEN was in against that filly that beat the choice two starts back and she raced evenly after starting from the second tier. I expect sharp improvement in this Grassroots race. I like (4) COQUI COQUI's 26 1/5 kicker and Roy sticks with here; price look. (7) MIA CULPA was another who was kept sharp in a conditioned race that has a shot to win this contentious opening Pick 5 leg.

Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) LT

This race shapes up as a battle between (2) STRAVINSKY and (3) HOT WHEELZ, who both met winners that were extremely tough last time. Slight edge to the former but using both in the Pick 5. (5) ROYALTY DEAL got a better trip than the choice last time, but he did finish in front of him and he merits a look for the Tri and Super. (10) SEBASTIAN RAY projects to finish on the edges here. Use him on the bottom of your Supers.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO FILLIES

(4) SMILING DIALING was absolutely flying late last weak in a mile that should set her up perfectly for this Grassroots try and she gets top billing. (5) IN THE NEWS is in the mix every week and while she would have to improve here to knock off the choice, she might be up to it. (9) WATCHFUL EYE's current form doesn't inspire but she does get Henry back for a second drive and she could hit the board at a price in this field. (7) ADMITYOUREWRONG gets McClure back after the trainer drove last time; consider for the exotics.

Race 4: NW $11,000 L5 or $23,000 L10 or NW $1K L3 AE: OPT CLM $30,000 - Pick 4

(4) BUZZ takes a big drop and he gets his regular driver back here. He should be hard to beat in this field. (3) U NEED STONES gets Roy here after getting a brutal trip last week. He should move up tonight. (1) NOTHING BUT MUSCLE was close at this level last week and he is likely to be a good price again; using underneath. (2) FINAL CLAIM is a tough one to figure considering his gait issues. I won't take a short price.

Race 5: CLM HDCP $15,000 TO $20,000

(2) BUDDHA BLUE CHIP was blocked late last time and that lack of racing room probably cost him a win. He rates highly here again. (7) HES A SENSATION takes a mighty class drop here and I would be surprised if he isn't claimed; using. (8) EASY FLYER is another class dropper who should get put into this race early and he is the third one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (9) LONE WOLF TERROR can be expected to pass a few of these with the drop in class; using on the bottom.

Race 6: NW $17.500 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: MARES - Pick 5

(3) GRANDMA HEIDI raced well in her first local start and she should be tighter for this coming back in 7 days; top call. (2) DANCER HALL should wake up in this spot getting major post relief. Expect a more aggressive try. (9) TREASURED TEE made several moves last time in a good effort and he could provide some value here starting from the outermost post. (4) ONLY TAKE CASH is capable of better. Maybe she'll show it now in her third start back; using underneath.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES - GRASSROOTS - 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES

(6) GREYSTONE NATALI O is hot right now and she picks up the leading driver here. A threepeat looms. (1) BETTERTHANBOBBI appears to be Filion's pick over the choice and this teamster has been red-hot lately. She should be the main danger. (5) ODDS ON VERO BEACH was 2nd to the choice in her only Grassroots appearance and she should get a piece of this, (4) FREE FLYIN TICKET should fit better here after unsuccessfully trying the Gold division last time; consider for Tri and Super bets.

Race 8: NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 - Pick 4

(3) PERFETTO takes a big class drop and moves inside after racing decently vs. much better and he should be hard to hold off here. (1) MAJOR MUSCLE also faces easier and he should be the main threat. (9) ST JAMES GATE rallied well for 2nd in this class and he will likely be a big price starting from out there. He could provide some Trifecta value here. (7) DR SPENGLER is another who is capable of rallying late to take a slice.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES - GRASSROOTS - 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES

(1) BIG MYRTLE raced well from the worst post last week enduring a tough trip and staying on for a share. I won't be surprised if Roy takes a stranglehold of this race on the backstretch. (5) LANDRY SEELSTER shows improving form and she should be right there vs. this group. (7) KIT is likely to get put into play early here. I prefer to use her underneath in this spot. (10) POTO HANOVER has been close the past two starts and she can sneak into the Super here.

Race 10: NW $25,500 L5 or $190,000 LT or NW 8 LT AE: OPT CLM $60,000

(10) PIKACHU HANOVER is on top of his game right now and he should get a spot in mid-pack early leaving behind the rail horse. A threepeat looms. (3) ON THE ROPES drops from the top class and he is the obvious danger. Stablemates (4) REFI and (7) R FIRST CLASS both bring solid form to this race and can be in the Tri or Super.

Race 11: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES - GRASSROOTS - 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES

(8) HAPPY LOOKER made a couple of moves in a nice effort last time and she can beat these at a price if she gets a reasonable trip. (2) MACH MY KISS couldn't go with Perfect Storm late last time, but she rates highly vs. this group and she is a multi-race must-use for me. (6) KAT should get positioned near the front early and stick around for a share. (1) GOT POWER's lone 2020 win came in a Grassroots race; consider for the bottom of the exotics. (9) NEED UR OPINION should be passing a few of these late to land in the High-5 somewhere.
