Race 1: 2YO Fillies NW1 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(7) SINGINGINTHERAIN was asked for nothing until the 1/8th pole while pacing in the rain in her qualifier and she finished best without threatening a long gone (6) TRIBAL DANCER. I'll call the former to turn the tables her on debut, expecting a more aggressive steer. The latter is the 14th foal of a dam who is 13 for 13 producing winners to date. This filly is obviously ready to roll. Homebred (2) PASS LINE is a full-sister to 4-time winner Coop A Loop, who was sixth in last year's Battle Of Waterloo. Her 27 2/5 kicker on June 6th makes her a big threat on debut; using. (1) KITTYS COLUMN is another that qualified well that is in with a chance in a competitive looking lid lifter.

Race 2: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW1 LT
This race for trotting debutantes is an absolute toss up. I'll side with (3) TOP MAST, mainly because the leading driver chose him over others. Both horses from The Stable, (6) LONELY LAKEWOOD and (1) READY FOR LANDING, are well-prepped and you know the barn likes to win early. Neither would be a surprise. (4) WHAT ABOUT ELMO trotted the fastest kicker and that can play well in this short field. He is another that can win.

Race 3: 3YO Colts and Geldings NW $5,000 LT
(7) VOELZ LIGHTNING is a homebred 1/2-brother to 1:49 3/5 (S.) pacer Voelz Delight who was good early in her career. If the intent is there at first asking, this gelding is supposed to be fast enough to beat these. (6) BETTOR ON ICE just missed at this level on debut then took a nice win at Georgian after a sick scratch. He is an obvious threat. (3) NEWS CASTER got a nice trip and closed for 2nd last week. He obviously can win here but I think he gets overbet. Your call. (1) BOLD BET should be good for another slice here.
Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4
(1) GLENFIDICH trotted a 55 2/5 back 1/2 last week and Macdonald sticks with him tonight. He should have a good shot here moving inside from the 10-hole. (2) LAS VEGAS HANOVER was only 1/4-length behind the choice in that race and he is the main danger on paper. (3) HEARTBREAK BEAT is fast enough to contend for a share vs. these. (4) SENIORITA SOLO comes off a maiden win vs. easier. I see her taking a small share here.
Race 5: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,500 LT
(2) BETTOR B SIRIUS paced a 26 1/5 kicker in the driving rain last week but it wasn't good enough because a rival that has potential to be a monster was pacing 25 3/5 with no urging to pass him. A repeat of that effort can get him a win tonight. (6) BETTER OPTION was first up in that same race and beat a neck for 2nd by the choice. These two may fight it out for the win here. (5) TALK RACY TO ME paced a 54 2/5 back 1/2 and, more importantly, got a clean line last week. He can be a threat here; price look. (4) MUFFERAW JOE will likely take another small slice in this spot.
Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 5
(5) ITS YOUR CHOICE drops out of Golds and gets Macdonald. Sharp improvement should be coming facing maidens tonight; top call. (1) PESO HANOVER is a $70K yearling bred to be a stakes colt. I could see him beating the choice here; using. (4) KING TRIX raced okay on Thursday night, and he fires back quickly here. He can be an exotics factor. (2) WOODSIDE GEARSHIFT is a $100K Lexington buy making his debut at three here. I'll tab him for the future.
Race 7: GELDINGS: GRASSROOTS STARTERS IN 2023 - Pick 4
(2) IKES DREAM was good last week, as expected, but the winner was never going to be caught after stealing a 58 1/5 middle 1/2. I'll stick with him tonight. (3) REIGN SUPREME was narrowly beaten two weeks ago by the same colt that beat the choice last week. He is the obvious threat here. (1) SHADOWS TERROR is capable of a very fast mile, but I don't love the rail post for him in this spot. I'll use him underneath. (7) HOLY JALAPENO is capable of blasting to get position, then following to stay for a share. Consider him for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT
(5) TACTICAL PLANNER got a great drive and a good trip last week, but he just couldn't hold off the big chalk as they came to the wire. He has a good chance tonight. (1) LOOKSLIKAGOODFELLA was better last week, and he finished only three lengths behind the choice. I imagine Hudon will have him on the move earlier in this mile and he is in with a chance. (3) BELVEDERE BRONX requalified nicely, and he should be part of the exotics if he stays flat. (2) INN AT RODANTHE should show some speed here and stay for a share.

Race 9: 3YO COLTS & GELDINGS: GRASSROOTS STARTERS IN 2023
(6) SOUNDS GOOD shoots for the threepeat here and his excellent tactical speed makes him the one to beat. (5) SAUBLE ACE was driven more aggressively last week, and it paid off with an easy win. These are tougher, but he is in with a decent chance. (7) GANDOLF THE BLACK will likely show speed and land in the Tri. (3) ALL ATTITUDE should pass a couple of these late and take a small share.
Race 10: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $51,500 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO OPT CLM $50,000
(1) CENTURY INVADER paced a sub-56 back 1/2 in a race he surely needed, and this is a group he can handle if he doesn't get too far back starting from the rail. (4) OH LOOK MAGIC was 3rd in a Gold and the winner of that race was a threat in the Goodtimes Saturday night. He is an obvious threat. (7) DOWEDEALINANDWHY drops out of Grand Circuit Company, and he should improve by default as long as he stays trotting this week. (2) SOUTHWIND DOMINO is right there every week and hard to leave out of the exotics. (3) BELLA CAVALLA is another that is always around the money that should be part of the High-5.
