Meet Stats: 279 - 905 / $1,529.90 (-$280.10) Best Bets: 47 - 86 / $158.90 (-$13.10) Spot Plays: 28 - 86 / $182.00 (+$10.00) Best Bet: BRYDOWN LOUIE (7TH) Spot Play: RESOLVING (6TH) Early Pick 5: 2,4,9/1,2,6,7/5,9/2,5,6/3,5 = $28.80 Late Pick 5: 1,4/4/2,3/4,5,8/4,5,7 = $7.20 Early Pick 4: 2,5,6/3,5/1,4/3,4,5 = $36 Late Pick 4: 4/2,3/4,5,8/4,5,7 = $18 Race 1: 3YO Grassroots starters **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5** (9) COLIGNY HANOVER is back where belongs after trying Grand Circuit company last weekend. Post 9 will help the price and I'll give him the nod. (2) JABBERWOCKY was out-tripped and shaded by (4) STONE CARVER last time and both figure again and will be on my Pick 5 ticket. (3) CAMARA MOMENT is a brain-teasing combination of talent, speed, and gait issues. I'd make sure you get a price if you like this gelding. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT (2) ILLUSIONAL trotted a nice back 1/2 in his last start in a race where he needed a clean line. He rates highly in this field and can be a maiden breaker tonight if he stays trotting. (7) HONEY BEE FIRST brings some good form in from Ottawa, picks up Roy and perhaps most importantly, she shows no breaks in stride in three pari-mutuel starts. She's in with a good chance here. (1) UNRESOLVED DEBT is 0 for 16 but may have never faced easier than this. He is hard to toss in this spot. (6) R HOT TODDY is another that could do if he can stay flat in a race where the winner could be decided by who trots and who doesn't. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: 3YO Colts and Geldings Grassroots starters (5) STAR POWER HANOVER has hit his peak and he should be tough any time he faces Grassroots company this year; top call. (9) KIPPER WHIPR SNIPR was a Gold winner last year so he is another that is hard to leave out when he faces Grassroots company; using. (4) MARVIN HAGLER has come back strong at three and his good tactical speed makes him a contender, but I prefer to use him underneath in this spot. (8) TUXEDO ATTIRE likely takes a small share here starting from a wide post. Race 4: NW $3,000 L5 or $10,600 L8 - Pick 4 (2) THE PRINCE got a needed clean line now he takes a class plunge. I think he beats these if he stays flat. (5) SERENITY CRUISE got no breathers in his 2022 debut and if he wasn't fully tight before that start, I'm sure he is now. He should be in the hunt vs. these. (6) WARRAWEE WHISPER was given a perfect steer and provided with a golden trip by Macdonald last week but starting from the best post, who says it can't happen again? I'd like (10) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS a lot more if she wasn't drawn widest. From out there I can only use her underneath. Race 5: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT (5) SAULSBROOK C HORSE failed to convert as the chalk last week but she was first up for a long way. She can beat these if she gets a better trip. (3) ADDISON SEELSTER's form is improving and this is probably an easier spot than she was in last time; using. (2) SPEAKTOYOURMANAGER showed enough in her lone qualifier to suggest she can contend at first asking here. (4) SOUND BITE HANOVER got shuffled out of the race last week then finished willingly without threatening. She has upset potential here.   Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $24,000 (F&M $30,000) LT - Pick 5 (4) RESOLVING is in a much easier spot tonight after facing the best sophomore trotting fillies in the country last time and she gets the nod. (1) THREE FINGER POUR should also improve sharply on the drop out of Gold company. He is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (2) PROFITEER couldn't go with a rapidly-improving filly last week, but he importantly got a clean line. He should be part of the exotics if he stays flat. (5) SIR BALLYKEEL has a great record, but a small share is likely his ceiling tonight. Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT - Pick 4 (4) BRYDOWN LOUIE sailed past the leaders to win as he pleased on debut and he gets the call to repeat off that sharp effort. (5) H P LIS SHADOW is quirky but he can be fast in spots. Christoforou might be the guy to time his move perfectly and he is worth a price look for the exotics here. (3) FULL DISCLOSURE finished with plenty of pace last week but he got in a blind switch at the 1/8th pole and he had to await room. He has some upset potential here. (7) MR BEAST was never in contention after breaking as the 3 to 5 chalk last week. He should offer a better price here if you stuck with him. I'll play to beat him. Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $24,000 (F&M $30,000) Tough race here. I'll side with (2) MUSCULUS MASSA who took the fastest mark of any of these two starts back then fell victim to a slow pace last week. I could see McNair going down the road this time. (3) PATRICK HANOVER adds Lasix here and this looks like an easier field than he faced last week. He is in with a shot tonight. (5) ROSIES WAR BONDS' race two starts back is probably good enough to win this, but how much can you trust a 1 for 37 horse that broke last week? (4) ENERGIZER DE VIE gets Jamieson back tonight after the trainer drove last week; price look. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 9: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $20,000 LT (5) POWER OF AN ANGEL raced tough in London but was nailed late by a mare that mowed them all down on the far outside. I'll give her a slight nod in a race with several options. (4) ARKELL responded to the driver change back to McNair last week and she should be a threat right back. (8) MARYKEEPONBURNIN was nailed late by Arkell now she starts widest which could mean that she gets the live cover this week. She's not out of this. (2) SHESASHARPSHOOTER can get another good trip here and land in the exotics.   Race 10: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000 Nothing went right for (4) MAYHEM LIKE ME last week now he draws better and gets Sorrie back; call to upset. (7) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP got cooked early when claimed last week. He is another that will offer a good price that could get a much better trip tonight. (5) HIGH FLYIN JAMIE was claimed by a trainer that is 5-0-2 from 7 starts this year. He picks up Macdonald and he's hard to leave out. (10) JULERICA is on a roll right now, but as an underlay leaving from the worst post, I'll take a stand against. (6) MACHIN A TRICK sits back and rallies for a slice again.
