Race 1: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(5) SNAPCHAT SAM flew late in his first start with Macdonald in the bike and the leading driver sticks with him tonight. He should have a good shot in this spot. (6) YANK MY HALO is probably the one to beat here coming in with three straight 2nds and he is hard to leave out of the early Pick 5. (9) CACTUSTOTHECLOUDS is a homebred 1/2-brother to $679K earner and 17-time winner Run Director (1:51 2/5 S.). The late speed he showed in his lone qualifier makes him interesting on debut. I like that (7) LAS VEGAS HANOVER was raced aggressively for the first time in his last start. I could see him notching an upset if he leaves hard and lands in the top three then sits a trip this time.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD LEG 1: 3YO TROTTING FILLIES
(5) RIGHTEOUS RESOLVE had a stellar rookie campaign and there is no reason to believe that won't continue here, but don't expect much of a price. (2) MUSCLING VEGAS comes in off a nice win in the SBOA final and she should be the one that completes the Exacta. I like the way (1) WINOOSKI has been finishing her miles. She can crash the exotics at a price. (3) BARONESS HILL should be part of the exotics if she stays trotting tonight.

Race 3: 5YO and Younger winners of 3 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $48,750 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000
(4) WARRAWEE XALT got an aggressive steer from Young last week when winning at this level and he stays tagged for $62,500 so he can remain at this level; call to repeat. (8) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER was probably over bet in his sophomore debut considering that he came into the race off a sick scratch. He should improve tonight. (2) GRATEFUL should come on late to take a good share in this spot. (3) STORMONT MABEL is risky with her gait issues, but she is another that can contend for a share if she behaves.
Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD LEG 1: 3YO TROTTING FILLIES - Pick 4
(3) CLIMB THE POLE had a qualifier after the SBOA to stay sharp for this initial Gold leg of the year and her sharp speed will allow her to get the jump on the other main contender (1) HP EXTRA ICE. The latter is in great form, and she will be the one to hold off late. (4) STONEBRIDGE BRAVO has two very good starts sandwiched around one where she broke. She is capable vs. these if she stays trotting tonight; using. (7) SWEET DETRMINATION comes off a break in stride but her best puts her in the exotics.
Race 5: 3YO Colts and Geldings Grassroots Starters in 2023
(3) IKES DREAM was part of some big fractions here last Tuesday in a Grassroots race and he should have a better chance here in a non-points race where the pace should be more even; top call. (2) SOUNDS GOOD is sharp as seen by his Grassroots win last week where he showed speed both early and late. He should be right there again. (7) SHADOWS TERROR didn't convert as the big chalk but he raced well and he should be in the mix again. (9) ALL ATTITUDE can close for another small share here.
Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,500 - Pick 5
(1) FADE TO LIGHT's big late speed should play well in this maiden race and he gets top billing tonight. (2) FULL HORSE is 0 for 10 but his last two efforts were very good and he stacks up well vs. these; using. (6) NEWSCASTER’s debut was decent, and he can improve enough to land in the Tri vs. these. (7) BACK POCKET MIKI will likely get overbet on the driver change to Macdonald tonight. I prefer to use him underneath.
Race 7: NW $17,000 L5 - Pick 4
(6) WALKONTHEMOON drops and likely pops vs. this group. (9) MACALLAN typically holds his form for several weeks when he gets good and he should offer a square price here starting from a wide post. He will be on my multi-race tickets. (5) RESOLUTE BAY jogged last week but these are tougher; using underneath. (10) TOKYO SEELSTER is the other class dropper here, but post 10 for trotters is like mission impossible at this track. So far this year, only two starters from 62 races have won from post 10 (3.2%) in trot races. I'll use him underneath only.
Race 8: 5YO and Younger winners of 3 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $49,750 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO OPT. CLM $50,000
(6) CENTURY INVADER makes his four-year-old debut in a spot where he fits well, and he should have a big shot against these if he gets put into the race. (7) EDEN ONTHEHILL was a bit unlucky in defeat after doing a lot of the heavy lifting racing first up. He is in the mix hare. (2) MIDNIGHT MIRACLE found room at the exact time that he needed it in the lane and he converted. He could repeat, but he will probably be over bet. Your call. (1) SOUTHWIND DOMINO is always a great one to use underneath.

Race 9: 5YO and Younger winners of 1 or $7,500 LT
(2) BETTER B BOLD closed like he was shot out of a rocket launcher in his debut and hasn’t been seen since. Assuming he is sound and sharp, he should handle this group easily. (8) BETTER B SIRIUS exits several fast races vs. some good colts. He can be an Exacta factor here. (1) NO PARTNERS has improved in the Libby barn and he brings sharp form in from the 'B' tracks. He should get a share vs. these. (4) BETTER OPTION gets Macdonald back and he should be part of the Tri or Super.
Race 10: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT
(3) TACTICAL PLANNER passed horses as the pace accelerated late which is typically a good sign. He should improve in this second start as a sophomore and he gets top billing. (4) LAST PAGE FIRST was an impressive winner two starts back and he should be the main threat if he stays flat. (10) LITE THE CANDLES is capable, but the 10-hole is extremely tough. Your call; I'd need a price. (6) PRETTY SPECIAL has had gait issues and she likely has a full stakes schedule on this year's menu. I think she looks for a clean line and some late speed here in this sophomore debut. (2) SEEKING SALVATION likely closes for another share here.
