Race 1: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(6) TIC TAC FASHION has improved with each start and finds a much better spot this week. McNair should give her every chance. (8) TIT FOR TAT wound up right on Outlast’s helmet at the wire after sustaining a move from well back. She should be passing rivals late. (3) PEACHY DEE adds Lasix after failing to finish the job as the odds-on favorite. I’ll look for her to be slightly better and get a piece.

Race 2: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: GRASSROOTS STARTERS.

(7) CANADIAN BLONDES rallied nicely up the inside to pick off (1) DIAMONDSBESTFRIEND in what wound up as a four-across finish. I’ll back the former to get the better of the latter again. The big miles may have caught up to (3) LYONS BULLDOG last week. Once she was headed, she was in trouble. If nothing else, I’m curious as to how, or if, she bounces back tonight.

Race 3: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(3) KIRWIN looked just fine in his first career start and trotted nicely through the wire. I would look for him to keep improving. (5) SEND ME NO FLOWERS has been his own worst enemy but gets away from the rail. I think he’ll be in the mix if he minds his manners. (7) SOUTH PARK debuts after a lone qualifier where he finished behind Kirwin. We’ll get a better read of where he’s at after tonight.

Race 4: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $10,500 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(6) TWIN B LOUBORGHINI was up against it last week given the trip he got which included multiple shuffles. McClure returns to the bike and likely uses gate speed. (8) SLICK DRAW was progressing well before his latest, which was the same race Twin B Louborghini came out of. I think he provides a better punch from off the pace. (3) CUZZIN JETHRO paced a solid mile on debut and looks to step forward with a much-improved post.

Race 5: 4 Y O & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $10,500 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. AE: N/A $1,545 P/S IN 2026 (MIN 10 STARTS).

(4) STORMONT FRIEDBOY sustained an outside move and raced extremely well in his latest to finish second. He finds himself with a much better post tonight. (3) MONKEY TALK was better in his second start after his most recent qualifier. He looked just one paced in the stretch but got late pulled on and found a decent stride late. (7) BEAU KNIGHT was better in his latest when making an outside move. A similar trip off a helmet could see him get a piece.

Race 6: 2 & 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $12,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(1) BISCUITINTHEBASKET was behind stalled cover and still closed best of all in the aforementioned four-across finish. A quarter move might be necessary or else her main rival could scoot away. (7) WE WANT IT ALL was an easy winner on debut and looks like a filly that should keep getting better for top connections. (4) TENACIOUS is the other Doc Moore trainee who was much better in her latest. She draws well and should be in the mix.

Race 7: 2 YEAR OLDS: NW 2 RACES OR $20,000 LIFETIME.

(4) TYMAL ECLIPSE is 2-for-2 and finds a field that hasn’t been the most consistent up to this point. Hard to look past her here. (8) STORMONT VIOLET has produced some nice rallies from off the pace and will likely be passing rivals again. (2) BACIO BLUE CHIP got a nice steer last week and broke his maiden. An inside draw might leave him a couple spots further back, but a sustained outside move can get him a piece.

Race 8: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 4) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $25,000) LIFETIME. AE: NW $2,000 L3. AE: 3 YO N/A $845 P/S IN 2026.

(9) JENNY DA VIE finds an easier field this week and I didn’t mind her comeback race after the sick scratch. Outside draw can be limiting but Christoforou drove her well three back from a wide post. (3) FIRST CLASS MASS has been left chasing better rivals as of late. I could easily see him quarter moving to the front and winning from there. (6) SOFT LANDING is second back after a decent return mile. A better draw should see him get away in better order.

Race 9: FILLIES & MARES CLAIMING $8,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE.

(1) HEAVENS LIL DRAGON gets a driver change this week and could be spotted better than a couple who tend to rely on outside grinding moves. (3) ACEFORTYFOUR DAISY is one of them, but her turn of foot is usually too sharp for that to even matter. Post relief should help. (8) ANNAS WISH gets reunited with Mark Macdonald and could throw a wrench into the pace if he decides to steer her aggressively.

Race 10: 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES: GRASSROOTS OR PROSPECT STARTERS FOR NW $11,250 LAST 4 STARTS.

(9) LOOKSTOBEMAGIC comes off a career-best win and has proven that she can get around the Mohawk oval when she stays flat. I’ll look for her to keep up her current form and pull a slight upset in the finale. (1) HP CRYSTALINE is second back as well after getting a check against Grassroots rivals. She was well backed there and handled aggressively, so fitness was apparently not an issue. (8) RONDA MAY K likely has the most raw talent in this field but is only second back after a string of miscues. I don’t fully trust her yet.
