Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

(6) COMPLETE LIFE raced great from the 8-hole at Flamboro to finish 2nd to a dominant winner and she draws best here; top call. (9) LOVIN JULIE blew up at 1 to 5 at Flamboro but she jogged here in a Grassroots race two starts back and if she stays flat she should be dangerous here; using. (3) GLOBAL NEWS should be a factor considering her sharp gate speed. She's the third one that I'll use in the early Pick 5. (4) ANGELONIA should be good for another small share in this spot.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(5) LEXUS RANGER raced well in a tough NW2 race when third to two promising colts. He gets top call vs. these Grassroots foes. (3) MASK OF ZORO comes off a sharp effort and Team Baillargeon seems to have him primed for this race; using. (1) HP MAESTRO fits Grassroots company perfectly and he is another in with a good shot here in a race that has several viable options. (2) SEA CAN should be in the exotics mix again tonight; using underneath.

Race 3: 2YO FILLIES NW1 or $13,500 LT

(4) JUST CALL ME SONG produced a nice wide rally in a race she surely needed last week being that she had missed five weeks. She can beat these if she is in striking range at the 1/8th pole. (8) FRANTASY HANOVER is the one to catch and beat after she handled many of these last week. (9) MOMENTARILY fits well here but she draws worst. I'd need a price. (2) UNITY edged the choice last week but she stayed in and saved all the ground then got a split late in what was a soft trip. She could get overbet here.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES - Pick 4

(5) DEWITT FOR JOSIE made a move to the front in the second 1/4, ended up third at the 3/4 following two lead changes, then lacked room until very late. She was full of pace at the wire and she beats these with a reasonable trip. (9) WINX gets a notable driver change here and I can see her rolling by these late at a big price if the race that features lots of movement; using. (2) BETTER CATCH GIRL has caught fire recently and she's hard to leave out tonight. (3) DELIGHT BAYAMA will have some bettors salivating because she was almost bodychecked off the track at the 3/4 pole last time and she recovered well to win, but, the reality is she saved all the ground, got room when needed in the lane and passed some winded dueling leaders who were tiring late. I'll play to beat her in this spot where she is sure to get overbet.

Race 5: Claiming $17,500 for NW $41,500 LT

(7) CUTTING CLASS faces many of the same that he handled with ease last week and he is a good bet to repeat here. (2) GAMBLING PRINCE produced a nice late rally when second to the choice and he could turn the tables this week if he lays a bit closer early. (1) MACHED UP is worth a look at a price for the exotics racing off the Stewart claim. (5) MYINSIDEVOICE was no good racing off the Moreau claim. A small share seems to be his ceiling right now.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS - Pick 5

(3) ROYAL CHAMPANE got an impossible trip from the 8-hole at Grand River. From a good post here, he can get the trip he needs and upset likely chalk (1) RENEGADE GYPSY. The latter is the obvious one to catch and beat in this spot. (2) MARVIN HAGLER is capable of better and he is another that should get a better trip here; using. (5) EVIL GUY takes frequent shares and he is a good one to use on the bottom.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(6) DYNOMITES PEAK lays over these and he should convert at a short price here. (5) TWIN B JAMMER closed nicely without threatening last time and he can be an Exacta factor tonight. (9) CENTURY IGLESIAS would be rated higher from a better post. He is likely to take a small share from post 9. (7) JUJU HANOVER exits a fast NW2 race which should have him sharp here. He should be part of the Tri or Super.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES - Pick 4

(3) MONEYWORTH is on a nice roll right now and she is the one to beat in the Semi-Final. (4) PORTOFINO is improving rapidly and she is one to fear here. (6) CLOCKWORK ORANGE comes off a big win at Flamboro Downs but she couldn't stave off the choice two starts back. She isn't out of this, but he might get overbet. (10) SOCKS N CROCS can take a share despite drawing widest.

Race 9: CLM HDCP $8,000 t0 $11,000

(6) MONTY MONO raced tough here in defeat two starts back then was refunded due to broken equipment last time. He faces some horses that are racing off the claim for barns that do not have a high strike rate in those situations and he gets top call here. (4) COOL ROCK runs hot and cold and right now he is hot so he is on my multi-race tickets. (2) SHADOW ME THE MONEY is in great form and he is a logical use for the late Pick 4 and Pick 5. (9) MAY TO FOR will likely give it a big speed try racing off the claim; using underneath.

Race 10: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES

(10) IN THE MOOD was unlucky to get beat by a rival that saved ground throughout last week. Her price climbs now and she could be a good value play tonight. (6) RIBBON RIDGE made a big move that almost paid off last time. She is sharp and dangerous. (1) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE won't get hung the mile tonight and she makes sense as a multi-race ticket use. (2) T TIME PAT could be closer here of she trips out. I'll use her underneath.

Race 11: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(1) CHIKABOOM was a no doubt winner in fast time last week and he comes to this race in peak form; top call. (4) COLD CREEK QUESO comes off a sharp try and he kicks home quickly every race. He should be one of the main contenders here. (7) CENTURY INVICTUS has put together a nice season and he should be a threat from close range. (6) SPORTS FAN is another who is on a roll but he is likely to finish underneath this time. (10) MACHO PHIL is one of the best in here but he has his work cut out starting from the 10-hole; using underneath.
