Race 1: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Fillies **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**

(6) ANGELIKI is obvious vs. this bunch if she stays flat, which has been an issue lately. Qualifier was sharp but she was all alone the whole way around. (5) DIVINNE MAGIC just won at this level on 9/6 and could be getting good at the right time. (1) ITS SALLY DEAL lands a catch driver after two grinding-type checks last two. Chance if fave falters. (2) CUNNING CONNIE adds Lasix and keeps J. Mac here. Needs to go forward late to challenge.

Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7000

(3) SISTER ACT should break her maiden here if she trots. Grabbed a check in Champlain on 9/15 and draws perfect. (5) NO TURNING BACK's last two are greatly improved. Three year old should be up close again. (10) MATS MVP was favored from the ten hole on 9/15 vs. these but tired late. Blast coming again but needs more late. (1) TYMAL TWYLA has missed time, gets a trainer/driver switch.

Race 3: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Fillies

(1) TWIN DELIGHT was out-posted at Grand River on 9/14, kept coming when winning here on 9/6. Looks to setup rally again. (6) CHEESE SO PRETTY was stellar in that Grand River race after faltering on 9/6. She can do it with any trip. (7) SIS gets back to big track trying to improve off even lines. I'd expect her to be coming late. (4) GLENBORO is a speed type that's made $64k this year. Needs more late to beat a few of these.

Race 4: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

Tough race here. (7) RESOLVE TO WIN has two nice wins here vs grassroots foes for Bax. Hanover lines vs Floyd are solid. (3) ROUGH TUFF TESTED has been consistent recently, had trip trouble when here in August. He will be up close. (8) NEW RULES has decent lines vs these from wide draws. Looks better if you toss last. (6) TAKE ON ME comes out of fast races with wide trips.

Race 5: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Colts and Geldings

(6) AHI SUNSHINE was stellar in latest starting and stopping, then flying late. He's won half his starts. (5) JOKER ON JACK was very sharp on 9/12 kicking :28 to win. Barn going very well right now. (7) THONG CONTROL ran into Reign Supreme on 9/12. He kicked :27 there after Gold try. Not impossible. (2) D A HOME STRETCH has some interesting trips/lines. Better post and prior speed tries could equal check.

Race 6: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Fillies - Pick 5

(4) LUCY WHO has been dominating these with her speed. Others need to find a lot more to catch her. (1) NO ANGEL LIKE ME was closest to her in last two. Lightly-raced type could find more late to challenge. (7) ENOLA was very good on 8/25 then raced even in latest. Looking to grab a spot in Final. (2) SWEET CARRIE T switches to McClure after nice rally. He likely improves her here.

Race 7: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Colts and Geldings – Pick 4

(5) DARBYSHIRE gets back to big track which suits his kick very well. I think he's the most talented of these. (7) FLOYD THE FREAK loved Hanover wiring three in a row and was never challenged. Long stretch to navigate here. (4) BUSTING WITH PRIDE benefitted in latest by breakers and had a huge lead early and late. He was very good here in August at this level. (1) WATCH A PRO is improving rapidly for Bax. Rally coming again and he is sure gaited.

Race 8: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Fillies

(6) GRANDEUR SEELSTER was reaching for racetrack on 9/14 at Grand River despite post. Take out Hanover bust and she looms large here. (8) IMA DOLL had no chance on 9/14 when wide. That 8/11 line here was very sharp, just needs a setup. (2) BALA has shown the ability to sit close and get checks. Many like to rally here. (5) BEST ACTRESS is a rally type that's had recent wide trips.

Race 9: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $20k Lifetime

(3) ILBENEEDINSTITCHES finds another bunch she's supposed to beat. Favored again but hard to trust. (7) CIEL BLEU is on a roll at Rideau winning five straight. This race will be faster. (8) INN AT RODANTHE adds Lasix looking for a wakeup. (1) R PRECIOUS PEARL has won two of three vs NW1 types. She's possible for a share.

Race 10: OSS: Grassroots Semi-Final 2YO Colts and Geldings

(5) REIGN SUPREME is very talented and went down the road on 9/12 to win. He will be hard to overcome here. (10) HES A SWEETHEART tripped out to win on 9/12 to break maiden. Post hurts but improving at the right time. (6) TWIN B RISENSHINE is also sharp right now. Tough trip in last and fought until late. Won two straight prior. (4) THE GOLDEN JET was 2-1 vs choice in latest coming off huge win. He's been ITM all seven starts. (3) WATCHMAKER is another consistent type that hasn't missed a check.
