Race 1: 2YO NW1 or $7,000 LT **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**
(1) CIAO BABY HALL is obviously the fastest horse in this race. She need only stay flat to have a great chance to break her maiden. (8) C MY KICKS HANOVER had some issues recently, but he has shown enough late speed in races in which she stayed trotting to be a threat here for top connections. (10) RITSON was on the run early last week in a race where he took plenty of action. The 10-hole probably isn't the best for him but if he stays flat, he can take a share. (7) SAINT K showed good early speed last week and he can take a slice here if he deploys the same strategy.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS
This race shapes up as a battle between (6) STONEBRIDGE REX and (1) PROLINE, who both won impressively here in Grassroots races recently. I'll give the edge to the former who might get the jump this time. (8) KYUQUOT made a nice recovery last time to nab a share and he can pass a few of these, too; using underneath. (9) FINKLE IS EINHORN got hammered at the windows and he delivered, but this is a tall task from post 9 vs. better; for a small share only.

Race 3: CLM HDCP $10,000 to $12,000
(8) E L WILD SPIRIT had an impossible trip last week. The slight post improvement here could make the difference; top call. (1) EMPTYTHETILL has been popular at the claim box for several weeks and he races off the fresh claim again; good shot in this field; using. (5) GRITS N GRAVY was claimed out of a fast win at Leamington and he is worth a look for the Pick 5. (2) DOVUTO HANOVER also races off the claim. He's not out of this.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS Pick 4
(7) NO PLAN INTENDED was very sharp taking a new life's mark here in his last start and he should be formidable right back. (5) BIG BANG BANG made a nice late move, but the winner was long gone. I'll use him as a multi-race price option. (2) CANTSTOPLYING has a much better chance here from an inside post but he would need to drop some time to challenge the choice; using underneath. (4) BRILLIANT CORNERS should be a speed threat again, but I'll use him on the bottom vs. these.

Race 5: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(6) COME ON RAAGS ships in and goes for a hot barn; top call. (4) SONIC FLARE looks like another live shipper and I'll use him on early multi-race tickets. (2) DO YOU SEE IT is in a much better spot here and he should get a quicker start; another possibility in a race that has a few legitimate contenders. (3) EYE OF THE SHADOW is worth a look for the exotics at a price.

Race 6: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 Pick 5
(8) KING OF MAGIC switches to the Fellows barn, drops and gets McClure; sharp improvement here is likely. I'll take a swing with him. (2) WORTHYOURATTENTION passed eight rivals in the final 1/4 to win last time he raced in this class and he will probably start a bit quicker leaving from an inside post; using. (3) THEE DESPERADO is usually in the mix at this level when he draws decently; consider for the exotics. (10) WHAT A RUSH should be passing some of these late; using on the bottom.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS
(2) BIG TEDDY was sharp in his first start coming off a short break and trainer McNair's Sire Stakes stock usually improves in their second start back, so he gets top call. (8) SARATOGA BLUE CHIP was outsprinted late last week but that was a good effort and he should contend here. (4) PREMIER NACHO has a better chance here starting with his nose on the gate; using. (6) TAKE CONTROL is another one that gets out of the second tier here who should improve, but I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 Pick 4
(2) LINGER HANOVER was bet like he couldn't lose last week but he blew up at the start. If he trots here, he should be one of the main contenders and the price may be better; slight nod. (7) IZZIES ELEGANCE moves into the top trotting barn and she qualified well for this; using. (9) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE comes off a strong effort but the winner was too tough. He's in with a shot even from post 9. (1) ROWLEN kicks home in 28 1/5 every start so he isn't out of this, but post 1 might not be great for him.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS
(5) SECOND BRUISER was dominant last time vs. Grassroots rivals and if he repeats that mile his opponents here will be racing for 2nd. (6) WATCH MY BEVERAGE was sharp too, and his barn knows how to get them ready for these races; using. (2) FIRST GLANCE was in an impossible spot last week after leaving from an outer post. He could sneak into the Tri or Super here at a big price. (3) CADILLAC BAYAMA should be a speed threat again, but I'll use him on the bottom vs. these.

Race 10: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $10,600 LT
(8) RUBY ON RAILS recorded an impressive win at Kawartha Downs to kick off her career and the field she draws here should be within her scope; call to repeat. (3) SMILE BY THE BEACH will likely get another good trip racing near the front here and she should be a threat. (5) DOUBLE PLAY's opener was decent enough that she should get at least a slice. (7) ADMITYOUREWRONG has been facing better most of the summer and she should be in the exotics mix in this field.

Race 11: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT
(5) ROSE RUN VICTORY faced some tough older mares last time and she was a close 4th. She should beat these if she gets an aggressive steer. (6) LAINIE HANOVER looks well-prepped for her sophomore debut and she should be the main danger. (2) PATRICIA MAE tripped-out then kicked home fast to almost knock off a big chalk last week. She's not out of this. (9) BELLINI SEELSTER had a nice rally going late in her mile last time and she is a good one to use underneath at a price in this spot. (1) MS MACHINGBIRD should be closer early and that can translate into a spot in the Super or High-5.
