Race 1: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
(10) MAGICAL WINNER K drops to the bottom and if he can make front from the widest post, he might lead these all the way; top call. (1) WHITE TIGER rates highly here on class but his gait issues make him risky starting from the tricky rail post. I wouldn't take a short price here. (8) NEVER MIND N is worth a look for the Pick 5 on the barn change. (5) BLACK TIE BASH hit the board at this level last week and he can take another share in this field.

Race 2: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $10,500 LT
I’m not typically fond of horses with 0 for 21 records, but this race feels like one that McNair will control from the start and I'll give (7) NOTHINGCOMPARESTOU the nod. (2) WRITENINSAND S BG finished a few lengths ahead of the choice in a good effort and she should be a threat tonight. (6) GEORGIA JANUARY comes out of the same race and she is another in with a shot here but she would need a trip to win. I'll use her underneath. (1) MISS M A K should take a share if she stays flat this time.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO Colts and Geldings
(7) CENTURY IGLESIAS was large at Clinton, racing uncovered a long way and showing courage in the lane to eke out the win. He has post advantage on his main rival (10) DYNOMITES PEAK here so he gets the nod. The latter is 2 for 2 in Grassroots races and the best horse on paper so he is hard to leave out but I wouldn't take a short price from post 10. (1) HES A LADIES MAN has the speed to compete here and he is worth a look for the Pick 5. (3) IM KING CONN dominated easier Prospect company at Kawartha Downs and he can take a small share here.
Race 4: Claiming $17,500 for NW $41,000 LT - Pick 4
(4) VICTORY MOVE was live last week but he had no choice but to yield to a challenger after cutting a quick opening 1/2. He came through between horses in the lane and fought right to the wire and he looks good in this field; top call. (5) GAMBLING PRINCE took a lot of action last week and he raced gamely in defeat while finishing ahead of the choice. He should be a threat here. (6) ROCK N ZEUS closed late and beat both of the choices but he was aided by the slowing late pace. I'll use him underneath tonight. (7) DENMARK SEELSTER should get position near the front early and ride a following trip to a spot in the Tri or Super.
Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO Colts and Geldings
(6) SPORTS FAN and (7) ICEY SHADOW fought it out in Clinton with the former gutting out the win. I can see a similar scenario playing out here and I'll side with the former again, but I'll use both on multi-race tickets. (9) SPORTS ADVISOR has improved sharply in Grassroots company and he should be a threat here despite drawing wide. (4) SUPERVISETHEMOMENT is the type that can ride a trip and sneak into the exotics; consider using on the bottom.
Race 6: Claiming $17,500 for NW $81.000 LT - Pick 5
(6) SAM MCKEE HANOVER draws better here and that gives him a good chance in a field that doesn’t look very tough; slight nod. (2) SUNNY BO raced tough here last week and he is an obvious contender tonight; using. (1) BETTORS VICTORY is capable at this level and he gets Jamieson, who moved off the choice to drive him tonight. He is the third one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (3) RIOT makes his second start over the track and he has the potential to sneak into the exotics.
Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4
(3) GLOBAL CRUSH's race two starts back is good enough to win this race if he can stay flat, but there is some risk here so I wouldn't take too short of a price. (7) REGIL TEMPEST improved in his last start and he picks up Jamieson here. He is worth a look in this field. (4) FLASH TO THE FINISH should go better here starting from an inside post in a race that figures to be slower than the one he exits and he's in with a shot racing from close range. (9) SPICEY P gets a catch driver back for this and he is worth a look for the exotics in this field.
Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO Colts and Geldings
(7) MACHO PHIL holds the fastest mark in this race taken in a Grassroots dash and he stacks up well in this field; top call. (9) CHIKABOOM went wide on the final turn at Clinton and he sailed by the leader late in a sharp effort; using. (4) FOX VALLEY CARLIN didn’t do much from the worst post at Clinton but his previous two starts show that he can compete for a share here and I'll use him underneath. (3) MY BLUEBERRY BUCK has been right there in every Grassroots start and he should contend here racing from close range.

Race 9: CLAIMING HDCP $8,000 to $11,000
(3) MISSION THREE has been on fire at Hanover with McClure in the bike for all three wins. This isn’t a tough field and he gets the nod. (1) MONTY MONO is a good fit here and McNair should put him into play. I'll use him on multi-race tickets. (4) COOL ROCK has been facing better but he appears to have gone off form. I'll play to beat him here. (2) SEYMOUR LITTLE is in great form but he goes for a barn that has a 0 for 5 record with fresh claims at this meet. I'll use him on the bottom.
Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $17,500 LT
(7) MAPPOS LION was impressive breaking his maiden here last week now he returns to a 7-day cycle; call to repeat. (4) TAKE A GAMBLE was solid racing in the slop and he should be the main threat to the choice. (2) SNAP CALL seems to run hot and cold but he has the speed to contend here and he has upset potential with the leading driver in the bike. (5) BELIEVE IN BRIAN raced decently with Roy in the bike to take a share last week and he can take another share here. (10) KOUNT BLASTER is one to consider for the bottom of the Super or High-5 at a big price.
