Race 1: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $6,300 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5
(6) FORTRESS LOUISBURG trotted a good mile after breaking early and he trotted the fastest recent mile. I’ll give him a slight nod here. (4) KING FURY trotted a nice back 1/2 on debut and he is another possibility in this second start where he will likely improve and race more aggressively. (3) E L TITANIC tripped-out to win last week and he is another possibility for the early Pick 5. (1) LOVIN PRESLEY tripped-out to win and he is hard to love with Toscani listed to drive.

Race 2: CHAMPLAIN STAKES 2YO FILLIES
(7) DRAWN IMPRESSION has looked like a superstar in every start and it’s hard to imagine her getting beat here. (8) DRAW THE LINE broke her maiden in style and trotted a big kicker. She could provide some value to the Exacta. (4) COOL MA BELLE raced decently in the Peaceful Way when 4th to the choice and she should be in the mix here. (6) TACTICAL STRIKE will likely land somewhere near the front early and stick around for a share.

Race 3: 2YO fillies NW1 or $5,000
Debutante (2) ANN simply looks faster than these and she should convert as a likely big favorite at first asking. The other debutante in here, (7) ACEFORTYFOUR BELLA, was impressive in her lone qualifier and she has a good chance to complete the Exacta. (8) CENTURY KALIMBA comes off a solid effort and she should be part of the Tri again. (1) ROCK SOLID LOVE should sit a trip and take a small slice.
Race 4: 2YO fillies NW1 or $5,000 LT Pick 4
(9) HIT THE BANK faced the terrific Gold filly Willys Home Run last week and this is a much easier spot. She has a big shot to get the job done against maidens here. (7) ZIPPY ZIPPORAH flashed to the front and took a check in a Gold race and that same aggressive approach would give her a chance here; using. (6) THE RIGHT TIME comes off two solid efforts at this level and she should be good for another share. (1) MASS MONEY is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics making her second start.
Race 5: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $5,000 LT
(9) PIRATES SHADOW figures to improve sharply dropping out of Golds and he should offer a decent price in this spot; slight nod. (4) ICACO HANOVER has two good efforts at this level and his speed makes him an obvious threat; using. (6) FLAG PARTY is another that drops out of Grassroots that should improve and he is worth using underneath. (1) ROCKET FREIGHT will likely sit back and rally this time and he can sneak into the exotics.
Race 6: CHAMPLAIN STAKES 2YO FILLIES Pick 5
(7) WILLYS HOME RUN lays over this field and she should win easily again as a big chalk. (4) EMOJI HANOVER has the potential and breeding to contend with the choice at some point, but it might be a big ask for her to drop three to four seconds tonight in only her third start. I see her closing late to complete the Exacta. (3) DONTMESSWITHMAMA got a nice run up the inside to steal a Gold but this is a tougher field now; small share predicted. (2) COLD SNAPS got a needed tightener in last week and she can sneak into the exotics here.
Race 7: CHAMPLAIN STAKES 2YO OPEN Pick 4
(2) WILLOWTIME brings a perfect 2-for-2 record in Golds to this race and his good tactical speed should play well here. McClure chose him over (1) GRIFF, who has looked great powering home in two straight wins and I’ll give the slight nod to the former but use both on multi-race tickets. (9) SEND IT IN HANOVER wasn’t disgraced in Grand Circuit company. He is another in with a chance here and he should offer a square price starting from a wide post. (4) R PEAKY BLINDERS gets McNair back and he can close for a slice against these.
Race 8: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
Tough race here and I am inclined to try to beat the likely favorite that starts from the widest post. (6) ARCHANGELS GLIDING draws best and has the speed to get positioned near the front if he can stay flat this week; call to upset. (10) TYRONE BOW TIE is the obvious threat but post 10 trotters don’t win often here. I wouldn’t take a short price. (5) ARCHIMEDES closed well for a share last time and he can land in the exotics again. (2) SISTER ACT likely lands in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: F&M CLM HDCP $15K to $18K for NW $20K LT
(1) JS BETTHISLADY faced tougher in her past two starts and she is priced to win here; top call. (4) ROSELLA is on a good roll right now and she could continue it here despite facing tougher; using. (6) SUNSET SOPH was beaten twice here at even money or lower and she will likely be the chalk again. She is capable at this level but I’d be wary of price. (8) ULTRA moves off the rail and she is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 10: F&M CLM HDCP $15K to $18K for NW $48,750 LT
(5) HASHTAG WATCH ME was a victim of pace and trip last week and he will likely be driven with more aggression tonight and take care of business. (4) CEREAL KILLER was sixth to the choice on 8/31 but he was used hard throughout that mile. He could turn the tables if he gets a better trip tonight. (9) JJ TOMMY raced okay from the 10-hole last time. He can take a share here. (10) SAULSBROOK BOOMER gets the leading driver racing off the Auciello claim and he could be a speed threat in this spot. (1) TRIDENT SEELSTER raced well off the McQueen claim and he should be part of this High-5.
