(5) TWIN B COPACABANA drops from Gold company and draws perfectly to establish herself as an early speed threat. (2) BANKROLL HANOVER raced extremely well off cover last week and is continuing to progress. A logical contender. (4) LETS GO FISHIN has disappointed in both career starts for Burke but she draws better tonight. I can see her putting forth a better effort tonight and getting a piece.

Race 2: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 2 RACES OR $20,000 LIFETIME.

(3) BIG D ENERGY was a sharp winner in his latest despite having a horse pull in front of him near the three quarters. Another who is progressing very well. (4) HAMILTON HANOVER showed plenty in his latest, but just how deep is he? Tonight can give us an answer. (6) NINELEVEN HANOVER has done little wrong so far and comes off a sharp win where he ripped out of the pocket. Should be a competitive race.

Race 3: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $12,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(7) BULLDOG BELLE was much improved in her second outing and still made up ground late despite weaving through traffic. (1) ROCKIN JADE DEO paced a nice mile second out and raced well off cover, but that was nearly a month ago now. A conservative start may leave her chasing. (8) SELIA SHADOW will surely be an overlay with J-Mac going elsewhere, but she lacked room in her latest and possesses solid early gate speed. An upset contender with the right trip.

Race 4: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(2) CHEDDARLUCKNXTTIME has shown sharp speed when chasing C Script and now doesn’t have to face that rival tonight. I think he gets involved early and gets it done. (5) BILLY HILL looked better last week and I think getting away from the rail should help him. His potential still looms. (1) WESTMYWHISTLE has been just okay to start his career but could benefit from an inside trip and snag a piece.

Race 5: POP UP SERIES: FILLIES & MARES CLAIMING $8,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (MUST RACE IN 2 LEGS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO FINAL). LEG 2.

(2) HALF FAST maneuvered to the outside and closed sharply in her latest to just miss in leg one of this series. Lower-level claimers can usually set races up for closing types. (1) ACEFORTYFOUR DAISY used her grinding style to get another piece last week. She is extremely consistent at this level. (3) CF SAVING GRACE went way too quick to the half and logically faded. She races off the claim and will look for softer fractions.

Race 6: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 2 RACES OR $20,000 LIFETIME.

(7) TREACHEROUS NOVA eventually got by her main rival in her latest and paced a strong back half to do so. I think she shows us more tonight. (4) QUED UP drops from Gold company and is likely to be forwardly placed from this draw. (1) TWENTYDOLLARDOLLY raced okay from off the pace in her latest and gets an interesting driver change. She may just be a one move speed type that falters if she doesn’t get that trip.

Race 7: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(1) CAPTAIN CAVALIER is progressing decently and is likely the main threat to the favorite if he takes another step forward. (6) KERPLUNK is tricky to read because he could easily pace this lackluster group off their feet, but he hasn’t finished any of his miles so far. (3) HP FOLLOW ME has had two no chance trips to begin his career. A little gate speed could go a long way.

Race 8: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

I really liked (8) WAVES OF FORTUNE going into her latest and thought she was a winner, but she couldn’t quite get by Money Carlo, another nice filly. I’ll go right back to her. (9) ISLAND GIRL was closing nicely after moving first over. The post may limit her late if she blasts early. (6) EFFECTIVE CONTROL has yet to win but has been consistent and draws well. She can get another piece.

Race 9: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.

(1) DEWITT FOR JOLOUIS appears to have some potential for Team Spence after his blowout qualifier win. I’ll look for him to show more on debut. (8) TOTAL ACCOUNT has gate speed to overcome the draw and could work out a nice trip from up close. (7) CAPTAINS ECHO closed nicely in his second career start and could continue to progress for solid connections.

Race 10: POP UP SERIES: FILLIES & MARES CLAIMING $8,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (MUST RACE IN 2 LEGS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO FINAL). LEG 2.

(1) MISSY ROCKS made a first over brush that was just a little too much for her to handle. I’ll look for her to sustain it this week off the claim. (2) GRACIE T was much improved third back, but is it repeatable? If she finds live cover, I think so. (10) MEILLEUR FROMAGE is hit and miss but got the job done last week. She may also look for some live cover.
