She is getting checks vs. stakes types. (7) VANJIE BLUE CHIP is a speed type that has also taken money at this level. She needs a trip for best.

(2) COOL CUTE COOKIE has had poor posts out of town but is finishing miles late. She has seven wins this year and could wake up on the big track. (4) E L CITADEL is sharp right now with two straight wins; has the speed to control this race. (6) SILENT CROSSING has back class and speed but only one win this year. She won over 88,000 last season.

Race 3: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: NW 1 RACE OR $11,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES
(1) CALL ME PARKER was bet to 5/2 on 8/22 off the drop from Gold company. He was ok there and doesn’t face much in this spot. (5) FRENCH VODKA nearly blew up the board in his latest at 54/1; contender if he stays flat and can rally again. (6) FORTUNES FAVOR was better 8/20 for Menary, staying flat for the mile. He seems to need time to figure things out to become a win threat. (2) DARKNESS COOKS was wide 8/9 in a grassroots spot. Time off could help or hinder.
Race 4: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,250 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME
(5) J M STELLA was solid on 8/22 making up over 10 lengths after three weeks off. Second start over the big track should bring improvement. (6) STORMONT CHEERIO was 1/5 on the board on Aug. 15 but broke behind the gate. He looks faster than these if he can stay flat. (9) EYE OF AN EAGLE has two wins at Grand River, one from up close and one from off the pace. This post hurts her chances. (1) GAMING QUEEN just won a Prospect race at Kawartha Downs after 27 prior winless starts. She could show speed from the rail here.
Race 5: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $8,000 LIFETIME
(3) TACTICALLYSPEAKING has tried Stakes in NJ with limited success. Drop should help her and she’s shown speed in the past. (7) SUPERGIRL MOLLY raced well on debut then tried a Gold on 7/25; returns after a break and an ok qualifier. (4) GREEN GLIDER has been ambitiously spotted so far with a card full of stakes. Overnight race here could be the key to breaking the maiden. (8) MARIE H has improved in her last two starts. She has enough speed to gain position here and grab a slice.
Race 6: 2 YEAR OLDS: NW 2 RACES OR $20,000 (OS $25,000) LIFETIME
(1) ALIMONY MIKE has a win over the track and two straight solid races. He can win with any trip. (8) LIL SWEET is fast but quirky. She’s been in stakes spots and has checks in those. Needs to stay flat coming off a break. (4) RISING INTEREST broke his maiden in last from a wide draw; could be sent forward again. (7) WONDROUS BLUE CHIP is a Blais pupil that is speedy and improving; logical spot to continue development.
Race 7: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,500 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES
(7) STAY COOL HANOVER has had plenty of chances at this level with six second-place finishes. His speed will determine the pace here. (9) ZEBS KRAFTY has displayed sub 28 final quarters in three of his last four starts. Sitting on a win, he needs to be used in multis. (1) BARSTOOL MOUNTAIN comes off a win in latest and draws inside for Gallucci here. (2) PUFFS LAST SHADOW finished third at 133-1 in last. He can grab a share late to fill out exotics.

(4) GETTING EUCHRED lost to well-meant winner in last while favored. She should be up close again and tough to overhaul late. (7) CHELSIS CHOICE has struggled this season but has a kick that can show up at times. (2) RED SKY TONIGHT is racing well at Clinton with a win and a third in her last two. These are a tougher group. (5) BETTER BE DONNA N has tons of back class with 590k on her card; needs a trip but can contend off best.

Race 9: FILLIES & MARES NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $39,250) LIFETIME. AE: 3YR OLD FILLY GRASSROOTS STARTERS
(7) RHYTHM OF LIFE comes off two straight wins with speed early and late; one to beat with similar effort. (3) NO ONE won 91k last year and is rounding into form now. This is her easiest spot in a while as she’s been in stakes her last three. (5) MASS MONEY has six wins this year. Last two starts she was rallying for top connections. (4) EXCITING MIA kicked 28 on 8/15 to break her maiden. Lasix has improved this filly and she needs to be considered vs. these.
Race 10: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: N/A $1,315 P/S IN 2023/24. AE: NW $52,250 LIFETIME TO DRAW OUTSIDE
(10) MANHAWK just beat these at 1/9 odds. Draws wide but looks a second faster than these. (9) KYLES ART comes off a nice win at the level and has two in his last three. He will be from off the pace again from this draw. (3) BAYLOR BOBBY is right there vs. these in his last two and has a post edge. (1) FRIAR VOLTAIRE is a closer with an inside draw. Use on the bottoms of tris and supers. (7) TREASUREINTHESAND is another that gets far back in races but rolls late.
