Early Pick 5: 2/1,2,7/1/3,4,5/4,7 = $3.60
Late Pick 5: 1,6,8/1,7/1,4,8/1,5/2,4,5,9 = $28.80
Early Pick 4: 3,4,5/4,7/1,6,8/1,7 = $36
Late Pick 4: 1,7/1,4,8/1,5/2,4,5,9 = $48
Race 1: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $5,000 **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
(2) FRESHEN UP lays over these dropping out of some decent efforts in Gold races and she should deliver as a big chalk to kick off the Pick 5. (3) CONTROLTHEDISTANCE, who suffered an equipment break last time, looks next best and she can round out this Exacta if she gets a decent trip. (6) DANCE NUMBER has been in the mix in all of her starts to date and she should take another share here. (8) ALWAYS B ME’s debut was decent enough to suggest that she can rally for a share in this spot.

Race 2: F&M 4YO and Younger NW 1 or $7,000 LT
(1) SPEAKTOYOURMANAGER was given too much to do and too far to come last week. With a better start, she beats these. $250K purchase (7) IPANEMA HANOVER is getting closer every start and she should be one of the main contenders in this field; using. (2) RIBBON RIDGE was the first leader then she took a mid-race shuffle and lacked room briefly in early stretch. She has some appeal here as an upset possibility. (5) GRACEFUL MOVES should take another share racing close to the front throughout.

Race 3: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $5,000 LT
(1) ITS YOUR CHOICE should break her maiden here after notching three thirds in a row in Gold races; top call. (6) LUCY WHO was game winning a Grassroots race at Kawartha Downs and she should be the main threat here starting from the best post. (3) DEALIN FASHION gets a positive driver change here and she should be close up throughout. She can take a share. (5) CUNNING CONNIE will likely show speed and stick around for a share.
Race 4: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $5,000 - Pick 4
(4) HES A SWEETHEART rallied well last time, improving his late speed for the second straight week. He can beat these if he lays a bit closer early. (5) NULLI SECONDUS should be the one to catch again after getting picked off last week with no apparent excuse. I wouldn't take a short price here. (3) VERDUN raced well in a Grassroots race now he comes back to a 7-day cycle. He is another in with a decent chance tonight. (9) NOTHING BETTOR should sit and rally for a small share.
Race 5: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $12,000 LT
(4) HOW THE HELL adds Lasix, switches Macdonalds to the leading driver and exits what was by far the fastest last race. He should improve sharply here and probably go right down the road. (7) INN AT RODANTHE has already won at this level. He should be the main threat if he stays flat. (1) SEEKING SALVATION raced well in defeat last week and he should be part of the Tri again. (9) THE BLACK ACE got a needed clean line last week and he is worth a look at a price for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 6: Claiming $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $68,000 LT - Pick 5
(6) HELLO ROCKY is two-for-two since being claimed by Fellows and his good tactical speed gives him and edge on his main rival (8) JIM STRIKESITRICH. The latter is in great form but he keeps getting tough trips starting from the widest post. (1) ROCKINMYDREAM improved for McNair last time and he is in the mix tonight. I could see him tripping out and getting the job done. (7) ADRENALINE RUSH comes off a nice win at Grand River but these are tougher. I'll use him underneath.
Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES 4th Leg 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4
(1) SAFE CONDUCT raced great in defeat last time but he provided golden cover for the winner (7) TWIN B ARCHIE. I’ll give him the nod here, siding with the one that will offer a better price. The latter is the obvious one to beat and he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (4) ESPLOSIONE had a good tightener for this is a conditioned race and he can close for a share in this spot. (11) DRINKS AT HOME should get a good trip following the choice and land in the Super.
Race 8: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW2 or $15,000 LT
(4) THONG CONTROL is back in a winnable spot after trying Golds and he has a good chance to get back on track vs. these. (1) AHI SUNSHINE took a while to get into gear in the lane last week but he kicked in and got the job done. He can get another good following trip here; using. (8) WHATCHULOOKIN AT has been terrific winning his past two starts and he is another live option in a good betting race. (2) HES SURE GOOD was sharp repelling a rival's backstretch bid last week but this is tougher. I'd demand a price here.

Race 9: NW $2,800 L3 AE: OPT CLM $15,000
The two horses that exit the Pop-Up series, (1) LAZZARO and (5) VICTOR INVICTUS, look best in here. I'll give the nod to the former who has a much better win record the past two years. (8) POCOHONTAS is in a better spot here and I could see McNair leaving for a spot in the top five with her; upset chance. (6) GERARD should improve with the driver change from the trainer to Henry; price look for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
0 for 25 (9) DON'T POKE THE BEAR got a terrible trip as the chalk last week and he still stuck around for a slice. His price will climb now and this isn't a tough field; slight nod. (4) TANGO SEELSTER comes in off two big wins on 'B' tracks and he will likely be the one to catch tonight. (5) BETTER SUNSET attracts the leading driver on debut and that is reason enough for me to include her in the late multi-race tickets. (2) BETTOR THAN PRIDE tried a resilient leader first up last week and he was rebuffed. I can see him doing much better here off a covered trip. (1) BETTER STYLE should pass a few these late and land in the High-5.
