(7) EMOJI HANOVER closed swiftly from an impossible spot in her debut to get up for 2nd and it should be all systems go now, but she will go off as a big chalk tonight. Debutante (3) P L RAINBOW DASH, a 1/2 to 15-time winner P L Opportunity, qualified nicely for this initial start racing over a wet track and she can be an Exacta factor. (2) FITNESS CLASS had a better trip than the choice, but she couldn’t hold her off for 2nd. I’ll use her underneath here. (8) MUSCONE tries maidens but she needs a clean line. She may sneak into the Super.

Race 2: F&M Popup Series Consolation Claiming $15,000 for NW $35,000 LT

(2) ROCKET GIRL races for McQueen off the claim and picks up J Mac. She looks as good as any in here and will likely improve tonight. (6) CHEESE SO PRETTY will likely get sent forward off the gate tonight and she might get brave if she clears quickly; using. (4) JS BETTHISLADY stacks up okay vs. these and she is another to consider for the early Pick 5. (5) SPORTY LIL VIXEN should be good for a small share off a following trip.

Race 3: 3YO fillies NW1 or $5,000 LT

(4) TEA LAKE comes off several good Grassroots tries and she should get the job done facing straight maidens tonight. (8) LOVE THOSE LEGS tried Grand Circuit company and she figures to be the main threat on the class drop. Debutante (7) ZIPPY ZIPPORAH is worth a look for the exotics off her one qualifier where she showed some good late zip. (5) ONE NIGHT IN PARIS should battle for another small share here.

Race 4: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $5,000 LT Pick 4

(9) CHARMBO TITAN flashed speed in the Grassroots and now he faces maidens. He could lead all the way tonight. (5) GAME STATS’ good late kick should play well in this spot. He will likely be the one to fend off late. (8) ROCK CLIMBER is a 1/2 to Volume Eight who earned more than $400K last year as a 2-year-old. He has licence to be good enough to beat these; price look. (3) PERFECT LANDING should contend for at least a share if he stays trotting this time.

Race 5: F&M Popup Series Final Claiming $15,000 for NW $35,000 LT

(4) COMPASSROSE DE VIE was driven aggressively by Thiessen last week and she responded with a new life’s best. Her 27 4/5 kicker stamps her as the one to beat in this final. (8) SHEPLAYSFORKEEPS was 2 for 2 in opening legs of this series, winning with different trips. She’s the one to fear. (7) BADDITUDE never misses the board and she should be part of the Tri again. (10) SUNSET SOPH will likely blast to the front again and lead for as long as she can. Another small share is likely for her.

Race 6: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT Pick 5

(3) LITE THE CANDLES is fast enough to beat these, and he should offer a decent price. I think he gets more aggressive this time after getting a clean line on his card on 8/12. (2) CRYSTAL BALLER was driven more aggressively as expected last week and he jogged at this level. This field looks a bit tougher, but he may be up to it; using. (4) CARDIO MUSCLE’s good gate speed makes him a contender for at least a share and he could do if he works out a perfect trip. He is another possibility for multi-race tickets. (5) RICARDO should be good for a slice against these.

Race 7: Popup Series Final Claiming $15,000 for NW $35,000 LT

Great betting race here with several live options. (1) MACHIN A TRICK woke up with a huge effort last week and that same wide move could get the job done again in a race that should feature plenty of action. (3) BEEF N CHEDDAR just took a new life’s mark and his strategy will be no secret, but there are others that will be leaving hard, too. I’d be careful to not take a short price here. (9) THREE SOMEWHERE took a new life’s mark as he jogged in his first start racing off the Moreau claim and he is another in with a shot. (10) SHARKY is interesting racing off the Barrington claim and you will get a good price if you like him from the widest post.

Race 8: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT Pick 4

(4) CONNOR stayed flat on a wet track last week which can be a sign he is over his gait issues. He produced a decent late rally in that race, and I’ll side with him here in a field with no standout. (8) TITAN FLAX S finished just ahead of the choice in an improved effort, and he should be right there with these. (3) HP JONI MONI was going to finish in the top three last week if he didn’t run in the lane. He should contend for a share if he stays flat. (1) PRINCE ARCHIE beat a weaker field of maidens at Grand River. A small slice is his likely ceiling this time.

Race 9: 2YO fillies NW1 or $5,000 LT

(1) WATCHING YOU was first-up against Pass Line in a Gold race and now she faces maidens. She should graduate in this spot. (2) WE BELIEVIN paced a good back 1/2 on debut despite not contending for a share. She can improve here and be an Exacta factor. (8) CENTURY KALIMBA is another dropping out of Golds who could be part of the exotics tonight. (5) TEA PARTY HANOVER is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.

Race 10: Popup Series Consolation Claiming $15,000 for NW $35,000 LT

This consolation is a total crapshoot. (3) HURRIKANEKINGCARLO gets both Lasix and McNair and I’ll lean on those angles while making him a lukewarm top pick. (9) DRINKIN BUDDY raced okay last week and I could see him blasting off the gate facing easier now; using. (8) Y S BETTORS LEGACY occasionally flashes speed and he is another that might pop at a price. (2) LIL RED SPORTSSTAR is 0 for 2022-23 and he will likely be over bet tonight getting J Mac in the bike. I’ll play to beat him.

Race 11: Popup Series Consolation Claiming $15,000 for NW $35,000 LT

(3) CHESAPEAKE SUNRISE will likely look to bottom-out this consolation field and he has a great shot to do just that. (2) PASSIONATE PRINCE closed more than five lengths on the choice in the final 1/4 last week. He will likely be the one to fend off late. (5) NO TIME AT ALL rode the choice’s pocket most of the way last week. He should be in the exotics mix. (9) SUNSHINE LOVE can pass some of these late and land in the Super or High-5. (7) HIGNETT is worth a look for use on the bottom racing off the Robson claim.
