Meet Stats: 447 -- 1378 / $2,336.40 (-$419.60)  Best Bets: 72 -- 127 / $248.60 (-$5.40)  Spot Plays: 34 -- 127 / $244.70 (-$9.30) Best Bet: CAVIART DIVA (7TH) Spot Play: AHI SUNSHINE (4TH)  Early Pick 5: 3,4,6/6,7/2,6/1,2,3/1,7,9 = $21.60 Late Pick 5: 1/9/1,2,4/5,8,9/1,9,10 = $5.40 Early Pick 4: 1,2,3/1,7,9/1/9 = $9 Late Pick 4: 9/1,2,4/5,8,9/1,9,10 = $27 Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5** (4) JOKER ON JACK left for the front, yielded, took a shuffle, and was briefly held up on the final turn, then rallied between horses for a nice maiden win at big odds. I like that he showed speed both early and late in that mile; call to repeat. (3) VERDUN had dead aim in that race but he couldn't seal the deal. Going a little wider than needed didn't help. I can see him winning this with a trip. (6) WHATCHULOOKIN AT is a contender based on a post-10 win second time out and he is another in with a chance. (2) SERGEANT SLAUGHTER is improving and he should be good for another slice. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 2YO Fillies NW2 or $15,000 LT (6) HORIZONTAL was bet like she couldn't lose her debut and she converted from the worst post. Drawing best now, she gets the call to repeat. (7) MANASQUAN BEACH was looking for room in the lane when she was contacted by a rival's wheel and thrown off stride last week. She gets McNair now and she is in with a good chance tonight. (5) VIRTUAL KISS produces consistently good efforts and she is in the exotics mix. (2) BETTORS PUNCH comes off a good effort and he is another that should be part of the exotics.  Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings (6) NULLI SECONDUS took all the action in her second start and he was unlucky in defeat, overtaken by a rival that was fortunate to find a seam late; slight nod. (2) WALL STREET BELL is the obvious danger and probable chalk coming out of the Battle of Waterloo final; using. (7) BETTOR B SIRIUS raced okay when 4th to the choice. I can see him rounding out the Tri tonight. (3) SHARKY will likely get a covered following trip tonight and take a share.   Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings Pick 4 (3) AHI SUNSHINE paced a 27-flat third 1/4 racing first-up last time and that sapped some of his late zip. He can win this with a better trip and he should offer a square price; top call. (2) COLD CREEK GUERERO got jammed up and lost several lengths in the third 1/4 last time when the pocket sitter drifted off the rail briefly then came back inside on him. He has upset potential here as a likely bomb. (1) D A HOME STRETCH is in solid form and one that is hard to leave off multi-race tickets in this spot. (4) THE GOLDEN JET has finished 2nd in every start and he should be in the Tri or Super.   Race 5: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 AE: Prospect Starters (7) SPEAKTOYOURMANAGER made two moves in a strong effort in defeat and she gets top billing in this spot. (9) GRACEFUL MOVES has improving from and she gets the leading driver for this start; price look. (1) BETTER SING IT will likely look to sit a trip racing near the front tonight following a failed front end try last week. She is another in with a shot. (6) ADDISON SEELSTER likely sets the pace and hangs on for a slice here.  Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings Pick 5 (1) THE MOMENT AROSE squandered a high placing in the Battle of Waterloo when he went funky-gaited while making a wide move on the final turn, and he then broke in the lane costing himself a check. He gets McNair back now, and assuming he behaves racing back on the big track tonight, he is clearly the one to beat. (5) DICE R OUT took lots of action last time but going first-up when the pace was accelerating didn't work out. I think he sits and rallies for a good share this time. (2) BEST SHADOW took a shot at the leader on the final turn last week and he stayed game to the wire while getting nailed for 2nd on the line. He is in the exotics mix. (3) MURRAYS WATCHING finished willingly in that same race and he is worth using underneath.  Race 7: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $5,000 Pick 4 (9) CAVIART DIVIA is a fast Team Alagna invader that should win here but you will have to eat 2-5 or so if you back her to win. (2) SIS looks next best and she will probably sit a trip near the front and complete a chalky Exacta. (3) SPLASH OF PINK finishes fast every week. She can sneak into the Tri here. (6) REGIL IRISH should race closer to the front tonight and stick around for a share.  Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings Good race here with a few options. (1) WATCHMAKER has impressed with the moves he made to win his first two starts and his best race is surely still in front of him; top call. (4) SLICK N QUICK is another that looked good in both starts and he showed versatility. He is in with a good chance here. (2) REIGN SUPREME looked like a non-factor until the 1/8th pole last time when he found a seam and exploded to get up for the win from an unlikely spot. Roy appeared to have options and he sticks with him. He is another win candidate in a competitive field. (5) RODMAN is unlikely to score here but he can land in the Tri or Super.  Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 9: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT AE: NW2 LT (Drawn Outside) This is a field that (9) KOBRA KAI should beat if he is over his bout of lameness; top call. (5) DON'T POKE THE BEAR is 0-for-24 but he fits here and he could get the job done vs. this group. (8) HASHTAG MONEY is another that should improve here dropping out of the Grassroots; using. (7) FULL DISCLOSURE has a good late kick on his best day and he can take a slice here.  Race 10: Claiming $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $65,000 LT (10) JIM STRIKESITRICH remarkably almost prevailed last time despite being out the mile and he gets top call here despite drawing widest again. (1) MACH JACOBS closed late in the Women's Driver race on Tuesday and he fires back quickly here; price look. (9) HELLO ROCKY held the choice off late and he is an obvious threat right back. (8) DARK MOVES jogged in that same race but he had the advantage of some roadblocks clogging the outer flow in the back 1/2. I'll use him underneath. (7) WISK KEY K is better at B tracks but he can take another small share in this spot.
