(3) GOOD GOLLY HANOVER tried Gold company in his debut and he flashed speed then couldn’t go with them late. This $40K Harrisburg yearling is in a much better spot tonight facing maidens and he gets the nod to kick off the late Pick 5. (5) WONDROUS BLUE CHIP raced well in defeat, providing winning cover to the rival that followed him. He is an obvious player here; using. (1) STONEBRIDGE PRAISE produced the best mile of his career in his last start at Kawartha now he gets Macdonald. He could get over bet here, but he is one of the contenders. (6) WILDTURKEY HANOVER has shown he can fly late in the mile, but he tends to lag at the start. I’ll use him underneath here.

Race 2: 2YO fillies NW1 or $10,000 LT

(7) RESOLVE INDEED was a professional winner on debut, bravely holding her game stablemate at bay once she put her head in front. She can probably trot much faster than 2:01 4/5 if needed. (6) ROXIE HART won impressively at this level on debut, then broke twice in Gold company. She will contend if she stays flat. (3) INTERNATIONAL LOVE raced decently on debut when 3rd to the choice. She should be in the exotics mix again tonight. (1) WILMA FINGERDO can get another good following trip here and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD MID-SEASON FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD PACING FILLIES

(8) CHANTILLY was phenomenal in her second start, dialing up a 52 3/5 back 1/2 to jog in 1:50 4/5. She had a rest and a qualifier, and she is strictly the one to beat at a short price. (3) WICKED N SINGLE was brave on the lead winning the Battle Of The Belles and she can complete a chalky Exacta here. (5) WICKEDPACE was right there in the Battle Of The Belles and she should take a good piece of this racing close to the pace throughout. (6) DARLENES ANGEL typically flies off the gate and I see her sticking around to take a small slice in this spot.

Race 4: 5YO and younger NW1 or $8,500 LT - Pick 4

(1) HEAVENS COUNT looked like he needed last week’s start and he finished with some trot. I think he gets put into play this time and I’ll stick with him. (5) STORMONT CHEERIO has been competitive in all three starts at this track and his good speed makes him a threat; using. (6) FASHION CONTENDER goes from the worst post to the best starting spot, and he can contend for a share vs. these; using underneath. (3) EXCITING MIA finishes on the edges every week. She is a good one to use on the bottom.

Race 5: Claiming $20,000 for NW $48,750 LT

(5) MANHAWK did all the work last week, got no breathers, and got picked off in the final strides by a tripped-out rival. He will be a single for me in this spot. (9) TREASUREINTHESAND continues to race well, and he can offer some exotics value starting from a wide post here. (1) BAYLOR BOBBY exits the same race as the choice, and he should be good for a spot in the Tri in this spot. (3) KYLES ART somehow got bet down to 2 to 1 last week coming in off two terrible qualifiers and a stale date and won despite breaking on the first turn. I’ll stand against him tonight facing tougher.

Race 6: POP UP SERIES: F&M: NW $18,000 IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS). AE: NOT AVERAGING $1,500 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS) - Pick 5

(3) YODA QUEEN got the leading driver in the bike for leg 1 and crushed. She outdrew her main rival and she is the one to beat. (9) CHEESY SMILE methodically wore down the leaders to take her first win of the season in leg 1 and she figures to be the main threat despite drawing widest. (7) SWEET CHEESEUS raced against males four times in a row, and she won twice. She could land in the Tri or Super here and add some value. (5) CHELSIS CHOICE, 2nd to the choice last week, should sit another good trip and take a slice.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD MID-SEASON FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD PACING COLTS & GELDINGS - Pick 4

(8) FIFTH AND FIVE got an impossible trip in the Battle of Waterloo and finishing out of the money should boost his price tonight. I’ll give him the nod to notch the upset. (7) STONEBRIDGE WIZARD set sizzling fractions and held off the challengers in that same race and he is the one to upend here. Double Gold winner (9) CENTURY LUCIFER has done nothing wrong so far and he chased Chantilly home in a good qualifying effort prepping for tonight’s start. He is another live multi-race possibility. (2) STERLING CHOICE should sit another good following trip racing close to the front and he isn’t impossible in this spot.

Race 8: 2YO fillies NW1 or $10,000 LT

(1) CLARISSA W was good in every leg of the Pure Ivory Series, and she is several seconds the fastest in this field. She is hard to go against but will offer no price. (6) PRINCESS DREAM was a game 2nd to her stablemate on debut and she should complete the chalky Exacta. (3) ABBYS MEDAL, who fired identical 28 1/5 kickers vs. Grassroots fillies, should be part of the exotics. (5) ENIGMA BOVINO finished well in her debut, and she is worth using underneath tonight.

Race 9: 4 YO and younger, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME

(7) FALL IN LINE finished fast in his debut, and he can beat these if he gets put into the race earlier; top call. (1) CEREAL ASSASSIN is well prepped by Doc Moore, and he will likely be the one to catch when they turn for home; using. (3) STAY COOL HANOVER, one of two winners in this race, had two good trips on the lead in his last two starts and he couldn’t convert. I’ll use him underneath here facing what looks like a couple of tougher rivals. (4) BROTHER JIM kicked in 26 2/5 last week and he can close for a share here.

Race 10: POP UP SERIES: F&M: NW $18,000 IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS). AE: NOT AVERAGING $1,500 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS)

(9) BETTER BE DONNA N and (1) SILENT CROSSING battled the entire length of the stretch last week with the former prevailing and it was a big gap back to the third-place finisher. I think the former will offer another good price here based on post draw and I’ll stick with her. (2) ZEBS BREAKING DAWN had no chance trying to close into a 54 4/5 back 1/2 and she is worth using on multi-race tickets at what should be a good price tonight. (7) COMPASSROSE DE VIE woke up with a much better effort last week in leg 1 but she loses Macdonald now. I’ll use her underneath here. (4) STONEBRIDGE DRAMA closed for a slice last week and she can do the same here.
