Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

Interesting race to kick off the Pick 5 with a few in with a decent chance. I'll side with (2) HEZ MY BUDDY who was picked off late in the mile at this level last time in a good effort. (1) MISSION COMMAND had late pace but he was too far back. Maybe Hudon, who is typically aggressive, moves him earlier this week? (5) LORD ANTHONY had a nice debut race and he is another in with a legitimate chance tonight; using. (7) SPEED LIMIT drew poorly in all three starts on 1/2-mile tracks and he showed some promise. He should get a share here.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO Fillies

(7) TIPSY IN DIXIE raced well against some tough colts in the Dream Of Glory final. Back in a race restricted to her own gender she is strictly the one to beat. (9) FOX VALLEY LIZA, a Gold winner last year, is showing signs of waking up and she could add some value to this Pick 5 starting from the widest post. (8) P L OPPORTUNITY broke her maiden impressively and she should be in the hunt here but I prefer to use her underneath. (2) ID A PRINCESS should be passing rivals late and she can take another small share tonight.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO Fillies

(7) EDGEWATER is on a roll now and she should be tough to beat here. The one filly she could get a stern challenge from is (6) MIDNIGHT MIRACLE who tuned up for this with a sharp win on Sunday night at Georgian Downs. She is improving rapidly and she should pose a threat. (3) HADIKNOWNBETTER comes off a good try and she is usually in the hunt for a share; using underneath. (2) FUZZY ANGEL is already a double Grassroots winner but those were races she controlled from the start on 1/2-mile ovals. This is tougher and I see her taking a small slice.

Race 4: NW $3,200 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 4

Last time (9) IDEAL JET raced here at this level, he blew the race wide-open in the third 1/4. Picking up leading driver Macdonald here could be telling and I'll give him the nod. (6) UNLOADED N raced decently vs. tougher and he is an obvious contender and the likely chalk here; using. (1) CROSSCUT finished well last week. He appears to be coming back to form and he is in with an upset chance tonight. (3) HUNTER HILL raced well vs. an untouchable 1 to 5 shot but this is no easy spot and I'll peg him for a small share.

Race 5: PURE IVORY TROTTING SERIES FINAL 2YO Fillies

(6) ETERNAL LEE wasn't asked for anything until the 1/8th pole in her debut last week and when she was given her head she steamrolled late. She could be any kind and I'll call her to take this Final. (2) ROSE RUN XCENTRIC had no interest in trotting last week as she didn't come close to making the gate but her race two starts back shows what she can do when her head is in the game. She can obviously win this but what price would you take? (5) CLOCKWORK ORANGE was an easy winner in leg one of this series. She is another to consider for multi-race tickets. (10) DABRA DAY gets the misfortune of drawing worst but she could add some value to the Super from out there.

Race 6: CLM $17,500 for NW $36,000 LT - Pick 5

(9) BRILLIANT CORNERS took a life's mark of 1:51 4/5 last time he raced in this conditioned claimer class and he should get an aggressive steer tonight; top call. (4) MYINSIDEVOICE has a much better chance tonight from the 4-hole after getting brutalized from post 10 last week; using. (5) THE DEVIL YOU KNOW finished well last week and he could vault past these late if there is any battling for the front. (1) EATAAMSBETTERSHARK held on last week despite being a bit rough in the lane. I don't see him controlling this race starting from the rail and I'll play to beat him tonight.

Race 7: MILLARD TROTTING SERIES FINAL 2YO

(4) MERCUTIO, a $100K yearling, seems to have been brought along slowly and pointed to peak for this stakes final. This could be where Team Baillargeon strikes and I'll call her to upset. (10) WORLD AT WAR DEO brings a perfect record to this stakes series final and she should be tough in here despite drawing widest. (1) MR FRITTER was only a neck behind the choice last week. Post position could swing things her way tonight. (5) DEVEREUX SEELSTER is right there every start and she should be part of the Tri or Super again.

Race 8: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4

(3) WILDCAT VICTORIA raced uncovered on the rim a long way in her last start and she stayed game right to the wire. I can see a Roy speed blast coming here from an inside post; top call. (2) VILLAGE JADE tried to chase the leader down at Grand River and that was mission impossible on that day as every horse leading at the 1/2 won. She should have a much better chance here; using. (8) MY MOTHER PEARL has a major case of seconditis and she is one I can only use underneath at this point. (7) BUMP IN THE ROAD raced okay from an outside post last time and she should be good for a small share here.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO Fillies

(4) GREAT DANE looked good breaking her maiden here last week and this isn't a tough Grassroots division. I'll give her the nod. (1) TEALICIOUS prepped for this with a powerful NW2 win and she is the obvious danger; using. (6) EXCLUSIVE ROSETTE doesn't miss the board and she should be part of the Tri here. (5) HOPE SO got a clean line that she needs now she should be more aggressive. She is worth a look at a price here.

Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) LT

(1) AMAZONE DUHARAS closed well in a fast mile last week and he is strictly the one to beat here. (2) LIMOGES should be more aggressive after getting a needed clean line last week. He should be the main danger tonight. (7) MAGIC WANDA is in good form but she seems more likely to take a slice than a win. (4) MODERN MASS is another good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.

Race 11: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT

(10) TWIN B SUNKISSED was one of few horses that closed ground late on Industry day and that shows how sharp she is; top call. (3) SPITTIN CHICKLETS should get an aggressive Jamieson steer tonight and she is in with a good chance vs. these. (1) BABY GOT BACK should get another good following trip and land in the tri or Super. (4) KATYS DELIGHT lost all chance at the start at Grand River. She is another good one for the bottom of the exotics. (2) ROCKET GIRL moves inside and she could sneak into the High-5 at a price tonight.
