Running in repeatedly in the lane didn't help this gelding. I think Hensley maybe blasts with him this time; top call. (2) CALM COOL COLLECTED gets class and post relief tonight. He rates highly in this field; using. (7) DISTANT DRUMS goes for top connections and get Macdonald for this debut race. This isn't the toughest spot. He's worth a look. (1) GIVE ME KARETS K will likely close for another small share if he stays flat tonight.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 1 2YO Colts and Geldings

(1) SPEAK OF WAR had an eventful trip on debut at even money now he switches to the Barrington barn for this initial Grassroots start. I expect aggression this time; top call. (9) TROUBLES A BREWIN is another one that is likely to show improvement in this second start and he should be looking to leave hard to get position early; using. Homebred (5) MORNING WATCH dropped close to seven seconds in his most recent qualifier and he is another in with a shot in a wide-open race that demand deep Pick 5 coverage. (8) GANDOLF THE BLACK is the only one in here that fired a sub-27 kicker to this point and he is another that is worth using.

Race 3: 2YO Colts and Geldings

(3) SOUTHWIND COORS, a $65,000 son of Walner, looks primed for a maiden win at first asking and Saftic gets a rare drive here; slight nod. (1) TWIN B SHOWMANCE, from the first crop of Tactical Landing, brought $85,000 at the Harrisburg sale and he has been sharp in both qualifiers. He's hard to leave off Pick 5 tickets. (6) DYLADMAR, a $60,000 son of Muscle Hill, closed well in his lone qualifier and is another that could pop here on debut. (7) ENZO AGUELLO makes his second start for The Stable which has been on fire lately. He should be good for a share here.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 1 2YO Colts and Geldings Pick 4

(7) BOOM TOWN BOY probably got plenty out of his debut. His nose was first off the gate then he ducked in while others pressed for the front. He stayed in, then got shut off with pace in the lane and he still lost by only 3 1/2 lengths. He gets my nod with that experience under his belt. (8) D A HOME STRETCH only beat one rival on debut, but he was motoring at the wire and he should contend if he gets put into the race tonight. (4) ALL ATTITUDE paced a 55-flat back half without threatening in his debut and he should be heard from late in this spot. (5) SANTANA HANOVER, a $30,000 Harrisburg buy is sent out by the connections for 2021 NA Cup winner Desperate Man and he is another contender in what should be a good betting race.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 1 2YO Colts and Geldings

(10) BEST SHADOW is a $45,000 purchase from the Ontario Select sale that Doc Moore picked out for himself and I'll roll the dice with him on debut expecting a good price from post 10. (1) THE MOMENT AROSE is obvious because he shows the fastest mile and kicker, but he will also likely get over bet as a result. Your call but I would be leery of price. (5) WISE THINKING will likely improve off his even opener and he is the third one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (9) CHESAPEAKE SUNRISE is a full-brother to 1:50 2/5 pacer Inspiration View. He could be much faster than you see in his qualifying lines and is another to consider on debut.

Race 6: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT Pick 5

(2) SEVERENCE ANGEL, a half-sister to local Open trotter Spartan General, finds a good spot to debut and she showed enough in her lone qualifier to get the nod. (6) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN keeps trying hard and he keeps getting beat. He'll convert one of these nights. Maybe this is the night. I thought (1) P P E raced well in defeat last week and he should be in the exotics mix again. (5) R HOT TODDY got bet down to 6-5 favoritism and failed to deliver last week. He's one I'll use underneath here.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 1 2YO Colts and Geldings Pick 4

(9) THERSOMTHINGGOINON is related to eight winners including Red John and Pop Goes The Weasel, who both won locally. I like the speed he showed in his qualifiers and I'll take a swing with him on debut. (3) EVERYONES HERO, a $30,000 Harrisburg purchase, is related to one winner that won early. Trainer Fellows often moves them up sharply off even qualifiers; price look. (1) WATCH MY CHIPS should improve off an even debut race. He is another in with a shot. (8) TEEN TATTLER got bet down last week but he tried to close into an accelerating late pace. Getting off the rail might be good for him; using underneath.

Race 8: NW3 (F&M5) or $40,000 (F&M $50,000)

(3) WARRAWEE XENIA is the hottest horse on the grounds right now and her roll should continue despite facing tougher. (8) MERCUTIO should contend again coming off a game first-over win; Exacta factor. (7) SAMOSA has only missed the Exacta once this year and that came when she broke stride. She is fast enough to win this but also possibly prepping for a PASS race; your call. (1) KEVIN ANTHONY should close again late to take a small slice.

Race 9: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $30,000)

(1) ILBENEEDINSTITCHES was no match for a sharp winner that no one was getting close to last week, but that was an improved effort and this is easier; top call. (2) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS was perfectly driven to break his maiden last week and Macdonald sticks here. He is the one to beat. (7) LENIS is facing easier tonight and he is likely to be sent forward leaving the gate. He is another in with a shot. (4) ILLUSIONAL gets away from Warrawee Xenia, which should mean he will be closer tonight by default; using underneath.

Race 10: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 1 2YO Colts and Geldings

(7) THONG CONTROL probably got exactly what he needed as a tightener for this last week. Now he draws better and likely gets more aggressive; top call. $80,000 Harrisburg buy (8) SHADOWS TERROR looks fast and Doc Moore sends them out to win early; using. Homebred (3) THE GOLDEN JET is a full to 21-time winner Tremendous Play ($443,000, 1:50 3/5 H) who placed in a Grassroots race in his debut. He is another possibility in a good betting race. (4) WALL STREET BELL's second start was a decent first-over effort and he should be in the exotics mix here. (1) LYONS EXCEL can improve off his debut. He is another in the hunt in a race full of possibilities.
