Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO Colts and Geldings **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
$72,000 Lexington purchase (2) FIGHT SONG stretched his legs in New Jersey now he comes north to race for a $70K Gold purse and picks up Henry. Sharp improvement is possible here and I'll give him a slight nod. (1) TWIN B ARCHIE has been right there in both starts and his 27 1/5 kicker from last week stands out; using. (9) DRINKS AT HOME raced okay in his debut in a Gold race and the Determination stock don’t usually take long to break their maidens. He could be a nice price option for the early Pick 5. (4) MARVIN HAGLER dominated Grassroots foes and while he will need to be faster here, he is hard to toss off that nice effort.

Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
Nothing went right for (4) BACKSTREET GAMBLER in his debut. He was forced three-wide when he left the pylons to commence a move around the 5/8ths pole then he broke turning for home. This is not a tough spot and his price could be better tonight; top call. (1) GLOBAL CRUSH raced well in the slop, grabbing 2nd despite being out a long way but that was the 18th time that he failed to break his maiden. He can win this but I won't take a short price. (5) CARTIERE is another who comes off a troubled trip that could improve sharply tonight; using. (7) PACK YOUR BAGS has paced two miles in 1:55 flat and that stacks up decently vs. this group; using underneath.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO Colts and Geldings
(1) ESPLOSIONE improved sharply as expected in his second start and he was impressive winning a Gold event. Henry sticks and he gets the call to repeat. (5) LUCA HANOVER has done everything right in winning his first two starts and he will be the main rival tonight. (7) MR FRITTER has improved his late speed in all of his starts and he is in with an upset chance here if there is a solid pace set in front of him. (9) SEA CAN gets McClure for this and he should move up but from out there I'll use him underneath.
Race 4: ONT SIRED Fillies Who Started in Grassroots; NW $10K LT - Pick 4
(4) STRAIGHT TALKER was rolling late in a nice debut effort and there was no catching the winner who was long gone as the heavy chalk. I'll give her the nod in a race with a few live options. (3) BIKINI GENIE was a distant 2nd to the big chalk who no one could get close to, finishing just ahead of the choice. She is an obvious threat in a race that should be decided by trip. (5) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE gets a driver change to Filion and (8) CRÈME DELIGHT picks up hot driver Macdonald. Both are potential upsetters here.
Race 5: ONT SIRED Fillies Who Started in Grassroots; NW $10K LT
(6) SHEZIS A BEAUTY made a bold move late only to be passed by one who ducked inside in the lane. That was a good effort and she gets the nod here. (2) BIG IMPACT gets to face maidens here after trying Gold fillies last time and she almost broke her maiden in a Grassroots race first time out. She is a logical contender in this lineup. (4) SHANGHAI SEELSTER is another that drops from the Golds that fits much better here and she is another possibility. (7) JUST CALL ME SONG was bet like she couldn't lose last week but something went amiss passing the 1/2 as she had no response once passed. A more conservative drive is likely here and I see her taking a share.
Race 6: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 5
(6) STORMONT BARBEQUE took checks twice in Gold competition and he should be tough here back with maidens tonight; top call. (3) EMERALD WINGS was no match for a leader who enjoyed slow fractions that totally played into his hand but that was a decent effort and he is a contender vs. these. (9) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN tries hard every week but he is hard to back to win from out there at this point; using underneath. (1) JMR NIKMUS should be good for a small share if he can stay trotting this week.
Race 7: 2YO NW1 LT
$50,000 Lexington Sale buy (7) WARRAWEE XENIA is by a hot young sire, goes for a barn that excels with young stock and gets hot driver Macdonald for this debut race. It looks like all systems go for this son of Walner. (8) MR ZUANETTI trotted a sub-28 third 1/4 in the Millard Farms stake last week and that makes him worth a close look here facing straight maidens; using. (9) MERCUTIO was bought for $100,000 at the Harrisburg sale and he is a 1/2-brother to $316K earner Magical Beliefs. He could add some value to multi-race tickets at first asking. (5) LUXURY BRAND finished well without threatening in his debut. Give him a look for the Tri and Super.
Race 8: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $11,500 LT - Pick 4
(6) IN THE MOOD, a homebred full-sister to 1:51 pacer Phils Sun, looks revved up for a maiden score by Team Steacy and she gets top call here. (5) AT MY PEAK had two starts vs. Gold fillies and she wasn't disgraced. I imagine Jamieson will be sending her to get good position and she should be a threat; using. (1) THEORY SEELSTER is a homebred that is related to 11 winners who was bought at the London Selected sale and trained down on the Maritimes. She is worth a look for the exotics at first asking. (10) POWER OF AN ANGEL is worth a look for the exotics dropping from Gold where beaten only two lengths on debut.
Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO Colts and Geldings
(7) DULY RESOLVED has two professional wins from two starts and he is strictly the one to beat here. (2) STAR POWER HANOVER can improve for top connections in this second start coming in off a decent Grassroots try; Exacta factor. (5) H P MAESTRO has been in the money every start and his sharp gate speed makes him a contender for another share tonight. (8) CENTURY ISAIAH won’t get bet much here but he can rally to land in the Tri and Super again.

Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)
(1) WEE JILL raced okay in Gold company last time and kicked home in 27 1/5 when too far back in her second start back. She can land in the top five or six early here starting from the inside and that gives her a decent chance vs. these. (8) DIEHARD SEELSTER did something you rarely see at this track last week: lead all the way from the rail post. The class drop and driver change really woke him up and he is a threat right back; using. (3) ROYAL TYRONE took plenty of action on the class drop last week but he was charged up early and he trotted too fast in the opening 1/2. He could pop here if Jamieson trips him out.
Race 11: Claiming $17,500 for NW of $75,000 LT
(8) SAM MCKEE HANOVER was hammered on the driver change to McNair and he came up just short last week. That driver chose him over (4) RADLEY HANOVER who he won with last week. I'll give a slight nod to the former and use both on multi-race tickets. (10) FRONTIER CRUISE has raced well in both starts since the Barrington claim and he is a contender here despite drawing widest. (2) A BETTER MAN has been right there in all starts for Auciello since being claimed and he should take another share tonight. (3) NOTAWORD N chased a quick pace and didn’t lose much ground in the end. He should be part of the High-5 racing from close range again.
