Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO Colts and Geldings **$100K Guaranteed Pick 5**
(8) ROSE RUN XCALIBER showed some late interest in his debut then he qualified well for this initial stakes try. Driver Macdonell has been winning regularly since racing resumed and this colt gets my nod. (1) FEEL THE FORCE had a useful opener that he can build from and he is on my Pick 5 ticket tonight. (6) KILIMANJARO looks ready to roll based on his June 25th qualifier but his sire has only produced three winners from two crops so far so I wouldn't take a short price here. (2) USURP HANOVER trotted a long mile on debut. He has a better chance here starting from the 2-hole and he is another Pick 5 possibility.

Race 2: 2YO Fillies NW1 LT
(6) LYONS EUPHORIA showed promise in her debut and if she gets rolling earlier tonight, she can beat these. (7) SILENT CROSSING paced a big mile in defeat here last week and she is an obvious threat right back. (4) MOTOVATION was sharp qualifying for this and teamster Hudon is likely to give her an aggressive steer; using. (2) SHEZIS A BEAUTY can improve on her decent debut mile and she wouldn't be the worst price stab of the night.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO Colts and Geldings
(1) LUCA HANOVER burst past rivals late to take his debut and he could get another good following trip here; call to repeat. (7) HP MAESTRO is the other sharp debut winner in here and he will likely be the target. This race should come down to these two assuming they both stay flat. (11) ANGELS EXPRESS appears to have some talent but the second tier likely isn't the best post for one that has already had some gait issues; using underneath. (4) CENTURY ISAIAH has been good in every qualifier and he can get a piece at first asking.
Race 4: Claiming $17,500 for NW $45,000 LT - Pick 4
(4) A BETTER MAN was decent racing vs. some tough conditioned foes at Georgian in his first start off the claim. Now he gets wheeled back into action in five days and I'll give him the nod here. (10) GAUDI KIR paced out of his skin lowering his life's mark but now he has missed four weeks and he draws widest. I wouldn't take a short price here. (6) MYINSIDEVOICE was relentless in a good winning effort last week and he is a contender again here. (3) VICTORY MOVE can get another good trip here and take a share.
Race 5: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(5) LIMOGES raced great and got the clean line she needed last week when chasing home, a class dropper that was never going to be caught. She gets top call here. (3) WAIKIKI WAVE exits the same race as the choice and she didn't get the best trip that night. She is an Exactor factor tonight. (1) ONE TRIX PONY is good enough to beat these but she is hard to trust from the tricky rail post considering her frequent gait issues. (4) SOMEWHAT SACY can take a small share here racing close to the front.
Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO Colts and Geldings Pick 5
(8) MARVIN HAGLER raced well over an off track despite having an eventful trip in his debut and he has a puncher's chance in his first sires stakes try. (10) LEXUS RANGER is a full-brother to Lexus Kody who just won an OSS Gold race for 3YO at Rideau Carlton on Sunday night. He can be right there vs. these despite drawing the 10-hole. (5) VINCES WHEELING is a homebred that goes for top connections who merits a look for the exotics in this debut. (6) LIVINGONTHERAIL can take a share here if he shows slight improvement in this second start.
Race 7: 2YO NW1 or $8,000 LT
(2) LYONS LOU’s June 25th qualifying mile is good enough to handle these and back in with maidens here he should be ready to put his best foot forward; top call. (7) TRUE BLUE LINDY was a solid 2nd to a sharp winner on the 8th and he is the obvious danger. (4) YARM, a $40,000 Harrisburg buy, qualified well on July 6th and he should be ready to roll at first asking; using underneath. (1) H P MOMENTUM can improve on an even opener and sneak into the Tri.
Race 8: 2 Year Olds Pick 4
(4) DEVEREUX SEELSTER took a ton of action and paced a big mile from the 9-hole in defeat. He has a good shot tonight facing mostly debutants. (5) TAKE COMMAND is a good looking homebred that dominated in his lone qualifier. He should be heard from here and he is the likely chalk. (9) SOUTHWIND DOMINO exits some tough maiden races and he should be good for a slice against these. (8) DELGADO, a $25,000 Lexington buy, is another who qualified sharply for this debut that is worth a look for the exotics.
Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO Colts and Geldings
(7) STAR POWER HANOVER, a $57,000 Harrisburg buy, goes for top connections who don't often show their entire hand in qualifiers. I'll give him the nod at first asking. (4) MARAUDER SEELSTER is the one to beat coming off a sharp maiden try where he was narrowly beaten. (8) IMA STANDUP GUY, a $25,000 London Selected Sale buy, is related to several winners and trainer Macintosh appears to have him on his toes for this debut; using. (2) TWIN B ARCHIE qualified okay twice but he will need to be much faster here; using underneath.

Race 10: 2YO NW1 or $8,000 LT
(5) MANY MOONS was a good 2nd in a strangely run race where they crawled around the track until the final 1/4 then flew home. The winner of that race has already come back to win and this colt gets the nod tonight. (1) ROCKAWAY BAY is the one to beat coming off a sharp maiden win and drawing inside. (2) HES REALLY KEEN dropped three seconds in his recent qualifier and he is an obvious threat with the speed he showed then; using. (8) WORLD FOR TWO comes off a nice effort where he left, led, took a shuffle and re-rallied but from post 8 another small share is likely.
Race 11: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(4) DR JOE's effort vs. Grassroots horses wasn't terrible now he gets to face much easier and he has a good chance to break his maiden here; top call. (10) HESINCONTROL comes off a sharp effort and despite drawing widest he should be right there vs. these. (7) GLOBAL CRUSH comes off a decent closing effort and he isn't without a chance vs. these. (1) DOWNERS DELIGHT should be closer here getting to start from the inside; using underneath. (2) TOUCH EM ALL JOE has had plenty of chances and I see him as a fringe player vs. these.
