(7) ALL OF ME absolutely jogged here three starts back and then she had excuses in her next two starts. She stacks up well vs. this group and she has a big shot. (1) GODIVA SHADOW GIRL goes for a high percentage barn after getting a tough trip from the worst post in Quebec. The tote board might provide some clues with this one. (4) STAR SO BRIGHT has been in the mix in every start this year and McNair will put her into this race early. She is another that merits a look for the early Pick 5. (8) ABSOLUTE EUPHORIA makes her third start back and I can see her closing to pass a few of these and land a small share.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD LEG 1: 3 YO TROTTING FILLIES

(6) NORTHERN DEMI was loaded with trot last week but zigged and zagged and couldn’t find a clear path in the lane. She returns in six days now and she will be a single for me in her first stakes engagement where she is sure to get a more aggressive steer. (1) HP EXTRA ICE has been productive all spring and she will be closing late as usual tonight. (3) CLIMB THE POLE’s only loss this year came in the SBOA final. She is a speed threat, but I prefer to use her underneath. (4) STONEBRIDGE BRAVO should be in the exotics mix again, likely closing late to take a slice.

Race 3: POP UP SERIES: F&M NW $20,000 IN 2023 AE: F&M that have raced for claiming price of $15K or less in 2023

(6) AMERICAN TICKET and (7) BABY BONITA will likely battle for another win here. In a game of cat-and-mouse, does the former accept the pocket following the latter this time, pounce late and turn the tables? (1) MARILYN probably needed last week’s race and she showed a bit of zip in the final 1/4. I’m not sure she can beat the top two choices, but the tote board might tell a different story. (5) SUNSHINEATTHEBEACH took all the money last week but no one was touching the blowout winner. I see her closing for another slice here.

Race 4: F&M 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT Pick 4

(8) HOT FLASH KIMMY wasn’t asked for anything until late in the mile in her debut and she was really flying at the wire. McClure sides with her over others in here, and I will too. (6) NORTHERN MAGENTA gets Macdonald after notching another 2nd last week, but that was a good effort vs. a tough foe and this filly is in with a big shot tonight. (4) SISTER ACT raced okay in her sophomore debut and she is another in with a shot here, but as noted, McClure picked the choice over her. (1) SOUTHWIND CERVEZA turned for home with the lead in her past two starts and faltered late. I think she sits and rallies now; using underneath.

Race 5: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(7) IM ABOVE AVERAGE was on his way to an open-length win last time when he jumped it off inside the 1/8th pole. I’ll stick with him here. (10) SNAPCHAT SAM flew late in that same race and he was in front one stride past the wire. He could do here, but I’d demand a price from post 10. (1) CRAFT MADE shows Grand Circuit lines and he adds Lasix coming in with two decent qualifiers. He is capable vs. these but I don’t love the rail for him. Your call. (3) GLENFIDICH seems to fit well with these and if he can sit and time his rally, he can be right there this time.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD LEG 1: 3 YO TROTTING FILLIES Pick 5

(5) RIGHTEOUS RESOLVE is the queen of this division until she gets dethroned. She should pick up where she left off at 2 and handle these. (1) WINOOSKI has some upside and she is improving. I’ll try to get some Exacta value with her getting Tyler Jones in the bike this week. (6) MASS HYSTERIA, 2nd to the choice in several Gold races last year, is obvious for the exotics tonight. (2) MUSCLING VEGAS tripped-out to win the SBOA final. She should get another good trip and take a share here.

Race 7: F&M 5YO and Younger NW $16,625 LT Pick 4

(9) TOTALLY RIGGED makes her first start out of the Cullen barn and she adds Lasix. I can see a big speed try here; top call. (3) MOONSTRUCK got an impossible trip in London and she was still only beat a length. She is an obvious threat. (8) PROVE EM WRONG was a resilient winner in London and she has shown vast improvement at 3. She is another in the mix here. (6) YS POISSON DAVRIL should be closer here with none like Front Page Story in the field, but I prefer to use her underneath.

Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT

(10) VALLEE DOREE made two moves to win a Grassroots race and she looks best here. She wins if she gets put into the race from out there. (6) NEW RULES was beaten by two tough rivals in his past two. He is the obvious danger. (4) SEEKING SALVATION likely closes for another share in this spot. (1) MASSIAH can be an exotics factor if she stays flat this time.

Race 9: POP UP SERIES: F&M NW $20,000 IN 2023 AE: F&M that have raced for claiming price of $15K or less in 2023

(1) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS exploded to a new life’s mark last week with Roy in the bike and she will be very hard to beat here if she repeats anything close to that mile. (8) DARKRSHADEOFPALE N was a resilient winner in the other division but she will need more speed here if the choice fires her best shot; Exacta factor. (3) MITTANY NICOLE has been firing some fast kickers at Flamboro and she could boost the exotics payouts with her late kick. (5) PREMIER BETTINA had dead aim on the leader but she hung last week. I think she sits

Race 10: F&M NW2 or $40,000 LT

(6) SWEET CARRIE T looked good winning a Grassroots race and when trainer Etsell gets young trotters good, they usually stay sharp for many races; call to repeat. (10) LAST PAGE FIRST will contend if she races back to her winning effort two starts back but she needs a clean line and gets post 10. I’d need a price. (7) SOUTHWIND CHARDNAY has upset potential here if she can find a live helmet to follow; price look. (8) SHINY NEW PENNY improved when 2nd to the choice but she is now 1-for-15. I’ll use her underneath. (1) MVN will likely sit a trip and land a spot in the High-5.
