(6) NORTHERN LOOKER trotted a nice back 1/2 in defeat to (1) CRAIGIEBURN last week and he gets key post position improvement here. I’ll give him the nod over the latter, who was bet like he couldn’t lose last week despite showing many breaks in his lines. Trotters with gait issues starting from the rail here can be risky propositions. (8) JACK N ABS doesn’t have to face Highland Kismet here and that improves his chances. He is another in with a chance. (5) ROCK CLIMBER should improve here but he will probably get over bet. I’ll play to beat him out of the Pick 5.

Race 2: F&M 4YO and younger NW1 or $8,650 LT

(4) BLAZING BELLE is 0 for 13 but she takes the biggest class drop imaginable here and she should get the job done facing maidens tonight. (8) RAFFLE WINNER fired home quickly to nab 2nd in her sophomore debut and she can be an Exacta factor here, too. (1) DEFININGTHE MOMENT raced better last week and she should be good for another share in this spot. (7) CENTURY KALIMBA is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics coming in off a couple of good Flamboro efforts.

Race 3: CLM $20,000 for NW $69,250 LT

(3) CATCHMEONTHEBEACH was loaded in the pocket last week, but the leader kept the door shut and he never got the clearance he needed. I’ll side with him to turn the tables here. (1) BAYLOR BOBBY got backed up to last on dead cover then swung widest and got into gear late to come close. He should get a better trip here. I will use these two in the Pick 5 and fade the one that beat them last week, (5) BLAKESAGENT, who may have been third best but got the trip over those two rivals. He will probably offer no value here. (2) BERENS WEAPON’s first local start was good and he returns quicker here. He has upset potential.

Race 4: F&M 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT Pick 4

(5) NAUTILUS B had no chance in his sophomore debut parked the route in a Grassroots race. He gets class and post relief here and I think he gets pointed to the front leaving the gate this time; top call. (10) ENCHANTED ANGEL raced better last time and now she adds Lasix. Perhaps that medication will be the missing link for her. She can be dangerous here if she gets sent like she was in her most recent start. (9) HIT THE BANK was finishing 4th in the Superfinal when last seen and this is a big drop from that kind of company. She is another in with a chance here. (7) NO NEED FOR ALARM was scratched last week when she fell before the race. She will likely be driven carefully here, but she can take a share.

Race 5: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(6) SCINTILLATING TOM was 2nd to a well-meant winner here last week and now he draws best. McNair will likely send him right down the road tonight. (3) DENALI DEO has shown he is capable of beating these (see his sophomore debut when 2nd to Highland Kismet) and he will be dangerous if he stays flat here; using. (5) DREBIN was favored in that race and he got passed by the choice in the lane. He can be an exotics factor in this spot. (4) FAST APPROACH takes frequent small shares and he is a good one to use on the bottom.

Race 6: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT Pick 5

(7) TACTICAL STRIKE chased promising Highland Kismet in vain in a fast mile last week. She will be the one to beat if she trots another 1:54 mile. (1) NZURI stayed flat and fired a nice kicker last week and he can be a threat if he stays trotting again here. (4) SPIROS is another that has shown gait issues that can be part of the exotics if he behaves; using underneath. (3) VALUABLE MISS has been disappointing so far this season, but she fits well here, and she should close for a share.

Race 7: 3YO fillies NW $6,900 LT Pick 4

(2) FANCY LETTERING closed for 3rd last week in a tougher field than she faces here. She should be ready to win now, and she will be a and multi-race single for me. (4) DONTMESSWITHMOLLY should go better here and Henry will likely put her into play leaving the gate this time; Exacta factor. (6) NORTHERN HALO fits better here but I think she will get over bet. I’ll play to beat her. (8) KENOGAMI HEART is faster at 3 and she can leave out for position and take a share in this spot.

Race 8: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT

(8) FABULOUS FREDDIE was given an aggressive steer last week that led to an upset maiden victory. The widest post isn’t terrible in this eight-horse field, and I’ll call him to repeat. (1) SALEM SEELSTER gets away from some Gold-level killers and he is an obvious contender in this spot. (3) FLIGHT LANDING had a useful 2024 debut in a tough race. He shows some good Grand Circuit lines from last year and he will be a threat if he gets put into this race. (6) MUSICAL RIDE was no match for the winner late, but he gets post position advantage on that rival here and he could turn the tables; using.

Race 9: F&M CLM HDCP $10,000 to $15,000

(4) WATCH HER DEWITT showed grit on the lead again while winning racing off the Barrington claim and this spot is no tougher; call to repeat. (3) BLUE GLAMBER has strangely been taken back leaving the gate in two straight starts. She does her best work when she races close to the front and getting Cullen here, she will likely be leaving harder. Her best race is good enough to beat the choice; using. (5) SWEET LOVING tripped out and she couldn’t get past the choice. I’ll use her underneath here. (1) DIALMEUP should sit another nice following trip and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 10: F&M NW2 or $30,000 LT

(2) MUSCONE took a check in Gold company in her sophomore debut and she will likely get more aggressive here. She is one of a few that can win in a race where intent will be key. (1) KINNDER HOTBLOOD was on a roll before she broke stride in that same Gold race. She should be a threat if she stays flat tonight. (8) HER CURRENCY looked good sailing past the leaders to win a Grassroots race and she should be a late threat here. I wonder if she will get too far back starting from a wide post, however. (7) RHYTHM OF LIFE took a lot of action, and she validated it with a good effort in defeat. This Steacy pupil is another that merits a look for late multi-race tickets. (3) EVOLVING should be good for a share here starting from an inside post.
