Mohawk Logo 1.5

Meet Stats: 317 - 1018/ $1,693.80 (-$342.20)

Best Bets: 52 - 96 / $177.60 (-$20.40)

Spot Plays: 28 - 97 / $182.00 (-$12.00)

Best Bet: ALWAYS B A STAR (5TH)

Spot Play: SCRIBBLERS (7TH)

Early Pick 5: 2,8/3,4,7/1,3,4,5/6,9,10/10 = $14.40

Late Pick 5: 2/1,8,9/4,6,9/2,5,7/7,9 = $10.80

Early Pick 4: 6,9,10/10/2/1,8,9 = $9

Late Pick 4: 1,8,9/4,6,9/2,5,7/7,9 = $54

Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

(2) RADIO LAB got a needed clean line facing much better than these and he trotted a good final 1/4. I'll side with him in this easier spot tonight. (8) P P E raced decently when third to a big chalk and he stacks up well against these; using. (3) SOUTH PORT looks good based on his June 21 qualifier but his listed driver is 1 for 36 since 2016; your call. (4) LOVELY ECHO is worth a look for the exotics on the barn change to Keeling.

Race 2: 2YO Colts and Geldings

Two horses from The Stable that cost a combined $180K at auction return for their second starts following breaks in stride in their debuts. (7) CARTER MICHAEL DEO and (4) BRACE FOR LANDING could very well end up battling for the win if they both stay flat tonight. (3) LOWRY passed six rivals in his debut in a good effort and he is the one that could topple the aforementioned stablemates applecart; using. (6) WOLINAK is the fourth offspring of Flora Dream to make it to the races and the other three are a combined 0 for 20. I'll use him underneath.

[DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!]

Race 3: 2YO Colts and Geldings

(1) TEEN TATTLER was patient early in his debut then he tried to close into a 27 1/5 kicker which wasn't going to work. He gets McClure for this second start and a slight nod. (3) BRUE HANOVER, a $42,000 Lexington purchase from the first crop of Stay Hungry paced a nice back 1/2 in his lone qualifier and he is worth a look on debut. (5) BETTOR BEA TERROR, a $82,000 Harrisburg buy, showed enough in his two qualifiers to suggest that he will be a contender on debut tonight; using. (4) BOOM TOWN BOY is another that paced a good back 1/2 in his lone qualifier and he is another possibility in a wide-open race.

Race 4: NW3 (F&M 5) or $40,000 (F&M $50,000) LT - Pick 4

(6) SAFE CONDUCT was picked off late by a rival that exploded with a big final 1/4 move. Starting from the best post tonight he has options and I could see him riding the in the pocket of (10) SIMCOE SEELSTER and rallying late for the win. The latter is 3 for 4 with one 2nd in races where he has stayed flat and he is the obvious danger despite drawing widest. (9) THREE FINGER POUR raced well in defeat last week and he is another possibility in a good betting race. (1) EVIL GUY got an easy trip on the front when beating NW2. Facing tougher here I see him taking a small share.

Race 5: 2YO Fillies

(10) ALWAYS B A STAR was the easiest of winners on debut and she gets the call to repeat off that strong effort. (7) DUCHENNE, a $40,000 Harrisburg buy, is a 1/2-sister to 2013 Little Brown Jug winner Vegas Vacation and the filly she beat in her qualifier on June 16th won her debut at 15 to 1. She is worth a look for the exotics on debut. (9) MISS BRICKLEY dropped close to two seconds while winning last week. She is in the exotics mix tonight. (1) LADYCORONA was better in her second qualifier Consider using her on the bottom here.

Race 6: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 - Pick 5

(2) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS shows stakes lines at two and tonight he adds Lasix changes barns and gets the leading driver after a trainer drove him for his entire rookie season. I wouldn't be shocked if he jogs by many lengths here. (6) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN raced great in defeat last week and he is an obvious exotics player again. (1) GIVE ME KARETS K likely rallies late for another slice here. (7) THE BLACK ACE’s debut was good but he would probably need to drop two seconds to win this. I'll use him underneath.

Race 7: 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(1) SCRIBBLERS loomed like he might win in early stretch last week, but the leader had plenty in reserve and that rival's 26 4/5 kick was too much. Off that solid debut effort, he gets the nod here. (8) PRINCE SHADOW was also good on debut but he too came up against a dominant winner. He should be a threat tonight. (9) THONG CONTROL, a $15,000 Harrisburg purchase, is related to several winners including Control The Thong who is currently on a three-race win streak at this meet. She is in with a shot here on debut. (5) TWIN B RISENSHINE wasn’t far behind the choice in her debut. She is in the exotics mix tonight.

Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $30,000)

(9) ILBENEEDINSTITCHES closed mildly last week and Jamieson takes the return drive tonight. Thinking that he will be blasting this time, I'll give him the nod to upset. (6) THE BOSS MAN raced evenly when finishing behind three colts that all would likely win this race. He should be right there vs. these. (4) DRINKS AT HOME didn’t show much at 1 to 5 when dropping out of a Grand Circuit race so I'm not sure what to expect tonight. I am inclined to try to beat him though in a spot where he will likely get bet again. (1) THE PINBALL WIZARD will probably close for another small share here.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Leg 2 3YO Fillies

(7) ADARE CASTLE wasn't her typically dominant self when defeated by (2) SAUNDRA on 6/8. She hasn't raced since, but I'm expecting her to bounce back here. The latter got in a perfect tightener for this racing against the boys and she should be the main threat again. (5) BABY LONGSTOCKING steps up out of the Grassroots in peak form. There are worse pokes you could take than her on this card. (1) PORTOFINO likely takes a small share again starting from the rail.

Race 10: Claiming $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $42,000 LT

(9) BAD EYE BILL gets the call to repeat here after beating most of these last week and getting claimed by a trainer that is 7 for 20 so far this year. (7) LETSFLYTOGETHER N gets back into a conditioned claimer tonight and I can see him getting a good trip racing near the front; using. (8) HELLO ROCKY will likely blast again and look to last on the engine; Exacta factor. (6) LIL RED SPORTSTAR rallied well late for a slice last week. He should be part of this Super. (1) DARK MOVES likely sits another inside following trip and sneaks into the High-5.
