(3) HOT FLASH KIMMY wasn't asked for anything until late in the mile in her debut and she was really flying at the wire. McClure sides with her over others in here, and I will too. (1) NORTHERN MAGENTA gets Macdonald after notching another 2nd last week but that was a good effort vs. a tough foe and this filly is in with a big shot tonight. (5) SISTER ACT raced okay in her sophomore debut, and she is another in with a shot here here. (2) SOUTHWIND CERVEZA turned for home with the lead in her past two starts and faltered late. I think she sits and rallies now; using underneath.

Race 2: F&M NW2 or $40,000 LT

(3) CHOCOLATE PARFAIT was game in a narrow defeat vs. tougher. She is strictly the one to beat here. (5) SMASHIN RAQUETS gets Macdonald with McClure opting for the choice and she should be in the mix coming out of a Grassroots race where she led to the stretch call. (7) PROUD TO BE LINDY was 2nd to the choice then she missed a week. She should be part of the exotics again. (4) MVN is a great one to use underneath as she is always in the top 4 it seems.

Race 3: POP UP SERIES: F&M NW $20,000 IN 2023 AE: F&M that have raced for claiming price of $15K or less in 2023

(1) AMERICAN TICKET doesn't face the mare that beat her last time and she should handle these racing on the engine. (4) DARKRSHADEOFPALE N was a winner in leg one and the obvious threat, but I suspect she might find the choice to be too tough here. (8) SUNDAY AFTERNOON will likely get positioned near the front and land a share. (2) CHARMBO BRIE can close for a small slice in this spot.

Race 4: 3YO Colts and Geldings Grassroots Starters in 2023 - Pick 4

(8) THE HAZLETON has been super sharp recently and a three-peat is likely in this spot. (2) ROUGH TUFF TESTED bottomed out the field in a good effort last week and he will likely be the one to catch here. (3) BUSTING WITH PRIDE has been flying home and he will be closing again. I'm not sure he will get the flow he needs in this non-Grassroots race. (9) DEADLINE HALL is another coming off a Grassroots win, but from post 9 he likely won't get the trip he needs. I'll use him underneath.

Race 5: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(7) IM ABOVE AVERAGE was on his way to an open length win last time when he jumped it off inside the 1/8th pole. I'll stick with him here. (6) FOX VALLEY ONTARIO came too late last time as the big chalk. He could do if he gets started up earlier tonight. (4) P L QUINELLA took some sneaky money here last week and he converted. He could repeat if he minds his manners. (1) KING TRIX was very good last time but I don't love the 1-hole for him. I'll use him underneath.

Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,500 - Pick 5

(4) DANCE NUMBER had the misfortune of coming up against Front Page Story last time and she couldn't go sub-1:52 speed. She has a much better chance vs. these. (2) CAUGHTYOUPEAKING brings a two-race winning streak back from Georgian Downs and he should get an aggressive steer from Henry here. He is in with a shot. (3) LADYSMITH moves into Moreau's barn, and she is worth a look on that angle alone. (6) WESTERN FLAMES gets the leading driver, and she improved last time, but she is 0 for 19 so I’d demand a price here.

Race 7: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT - Pick 4

(2) DARBYSHIRE absolutely jogged last time he faced NW2 then he was in over his head for a few starts. He should be tough in here. (7) NEW RULES finished 2nd to two good colts in his last two starts but he might be in a similar situation here facing the choice. He should be an Exacta factor here. 1 for 21 (1) NO TURNING BACK should be in the exotics mix again. (6) GREAT EMOTION has been finishing his miles well recently. He can come on for a slice in this spot.

Race 8: Race 9: POP UP SERIES: F&M NW $20,000 IN 2023 AE: F&M that have raced for claiming price of $15K or less in 2023

(1) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS exploded to a new life's mark last time with Roy in the bike and she will be very hard to beat here if she repeats anything close to that mile. (3) MARILYN raced decently for a mare that shipped across the country and missed a month's racing. She is worth a look here at what should be a good price. (4) BABY BONITA tripped out, but she finished fast to get the job done. She should get a good piece of this. (8) PREMIER BETTINA had dead aim on the leader, but she hung last week. I think she sits and rallies for a slice this time.

Race 9: F&M NW $1,600 L3

(4) THEREALPRINCESS fired some fast kickers in her last two now she drops in class. This can be the spot where she takes her first local win. (6) BEYOND THE SEA is likely best in here but she has a stale date. Your call, but I'd demand a price. (2) AHOY drops to the bottom and she figures to be a speed threat in this spot; using. (7) WILDCAT DELIGHT brings solid form back from the 'B' tracks and she should take a share here, probably racing close to the front throughout.

Race 10: F&M NW2 or $40,000 LT

(2) SWEET CARRIE T looked good winning a Grassroots race and when trainer Etsell gets young trotters good, they usually stay sharp for many races; call to repeat. (3) VALEE DOREE similarly was impressive winning a Grassroots dash and teamster Young has been driving great recently. She is the obvious danger. (5) SOUTHWIND CHARDNAY has upset potential here if she can find a live helmet to follow; price look. (4) SHINY NEW PENNY improved when 2nd to the choice but she is now 1 for 15. I'll use her underneath. (8) LUCY WHO will likely back and rally into the High-5.
