Race 1: Starters For $8,000 Claiming of Less in one of Last Three Starts **GTD $75,000 Pick 5**
This race appears to have an abundance of early speed, so I'll try (10) COOL ROCK to roll by late. (2) LEGAL BETTOR won three of his last six before the break and he gets Henry here going for a new barn; using. (1) LEADER TONIGHT should get good position early and he is another possibility in a race that should be decided by trip. (7) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS should be coming on late. Throw him in Tris and Supers at a price.
Race 2: NW $6,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000
(1) HP TITANIA RUNNER qualified well enough to suggest that he will be ready for a barn that has been on fire since action resumed. (10) MISTER MAGIC won in this class before the break and he could get a good trip leaving behind the choice here. (7) HOCKEY HANOVER is sure to show speed on the class drop and he is hard to leave off Pick 5 tickets. (5) HETTIES COMMANDER should be passing some of these late. Give him a look for the bottom of the Trip and Super.
Race 3: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT
(3) RHYTHM IN MOTION produced a 26 final 1/4 over a "good" track when third to a colt who won in 1:49 4/5 on Monday night. I'm going to make this colt my Pick 5 single. (8) BETTER B SWIFT qualified sharply for this 2020 debut and he can be an Exacta factor. (9) COMANCHE CREEK has displayed good closing power in every start so far. Toss him on the bottom of Tris and Supers. (10) MISSION BAY is another price horse that should be passing some rivals in the lane here.
Race 4: 4YO and Younger Nw1 or $7,000 LT-Pick 4
(3) SIXTEEN looked very sharp qualifying and he might have things figured out now. He gets the nod here. (6) REMEMBER TITANS and (7) TUCKERS OUT have similar profiles to the choice in that all of them were sharp qualifying winners. I'll use all three on multi-race tickets. (8) MASSMAN closed nicely in his qualifier and he is in with a shot for a smaller share here.
Race 5: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(10) NOCH TEN placed in Gold company first time out last year and he looks ready to rock based on the way he finished his qualifier. He gets top call over (2) GOING FAST who was doing exactly that at the end of his May 28th qualifier. He’s in with a shot here. (6) SUNSHINE LIST is another who finished strongly, and he is worth a look here in what isn't the toughest spot to debut. (4) LYONS SKIPPER also makes his debut and picking up Henry to drive makes him interesting for the exotics.
Race 6: 3YO Fillies NW1 or $7,000 LT
I'll take a price stab on (9) ZAKARINA here. She shows some decent Grassroots lines from 2019 and driver Filion has returned hot. (4) KEEP YA HEAD UP was all business in his qualifier and he may be tough to catch here if he is allowed to take a breather. (2) ROYALTYS DEAL is worth a look coming in off a solid qualifying effort. (10) BR SERENA SLAM could get up to take a small piece at a piece here.
Race 7: CLM $15,000 for NW $52,000 LT
(2) FARMERS TAN's race two starts back at a similar class level is good enough to win this; top call. (1) BEACH BABY BEE also has a recent win at this level and having red-hot Filion in the bike won't hurt. (7) ARCANE SEELSTER has the speed to make front leaving and he should be in good position at the 3/4 pole which gives him a chance in here. (5) SOMEWHERE BETTOR was beating easier out west but he does attract the leading driver here so he might he a nice price play.
Race 8: 3YO Fillies NW1 or $7,000 LT
(1) MODERN MASS was stakes-placed at two and she finished well behind a strong winner in her qualifier. She gets the nod over (9) HICKMAN COUNTY, who goes for hot connections and could be a big price on the board. (5) SHILOH SEELSTER tired a bit at the end of her qualifier, but it was a decent effort and she could go forward here. (2) CREDITS CELEBRITY shows a couple of races from last year that would make her a contender for a share here.
Race 9: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) LT
(1) CHARMBO PRINCE was very consistent at this level before the break and this is a good spot for him to resume his winning ways immediately. (7) FLUFF has a big late kick and she might be hard to hold off if she is within range at the 3/4 pole. (6) SAVINI’s last race was his best one and McNair has gotten off to a decent start since racing started back. I imagine he will be blasting with this gelding; using. (2) MCKEES ANGEL finished behind one of the top Ohio Sires Stakes fillies in her qualifier and she can hit the board here.
Race 10: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT
(5) FREE FLYIN TICKET is the class of this group and her 54 4/5 back 1/2 paced in her May 29th qualifier signals that she’s ready for action. She will be my single on late multi-race tickets. (3) COVER STORY has been right there every start and there’s no reason to think she won’t continue that streak here. (2) BOTTLE OF RED was also having a good season before the break. She should be part of this Tri. (1) MARY KAT is another who should be closing for a piece of this. (10) CENTURY GIANNA should be able to find a helmet to follow. Use her on the bottom of Supers and High-5s.
