Getting off the rail is key here and he will be a single for me. (4) TACTICAL STRIKE stayed flat last week and crushed but he didn’t beat much. I think the choice will handle him providing he moves on him early enough. (3) SID THE KID was bet like he couldn’t lose, and he jogged. This is tougher and I’ll use him underneath tonight. (6) THE CANAM BANKER has been racing great and he should be part of the exotics here. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 1. 3 YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLIES (1) CHAUD HOLLIDAY trotted a big back 1/2 in defeat last week and she fell one step short. She looks faster at three and I’ll give her the nod here. (3) SWEET VALLEY raced well in both starts while being patiently driven by McNair. She could get more aggressive now; using. (8) P L RACHEL had little chance last week chasing a rival that opened up a big lead and trotted a fast mile. She looks like one of the better ones In here and she is on my Pick 5 ticket. (7) NAUTILUS B tried Gold company when last seen here. She qualified well and she can take a share. Race 3: CLM $20,000 for NW $66,000 LT (7) CAN BE A TREASURE raced well in defeat to a class dropper last week and he looks best here; top call. (9) HESTONATOR almost pulled off a win at Kawartha despite missing three weeks due to lameness. He could be a big speed threat here. (4) CATCHMEONTHEBEACH fits okay here, but he makes his fifth start in two weeks since being claimed. I’ll use him underneath. (2) THE SERPENT should sit another following trip racing close to the front and stay for a share. Race 4: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT - Pick 4 (1) MUSICAL RIDE raced well in defeat to two stakes types last week and I’ll give her the nod here in what looks like an easier spot. (7) P L ROBERT G got a better trip as expected and he converted. He is at the top of his form now and he is the one to fear. (3) DEALERS DELITE qualified fast enough to contend in this first start as a four-year-old. She is another in with a chance. (8) ALEXANDER, 3rd in a Grassroots race last time. Can take a share here. Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 1. 3 YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLIES (7) NO NEED FOR ALARM had little chance the way the race developed last week. That effort should serve as a good prep for this Grassroots race and I’ll stick with her at a better price here. (4) BILLIE JEAN QUEEN adds Lasix after facing some killers in the SBOA. She has a much better chance tonight; using. (2) TEA LAKE and (3) KARENS DREAM exit the same race where they chased a runaway winner and finished close together for 2nd and 3rd. They are both in the exotics mix here. Race 6: 3YO NW $5,000 LT - Pick 5 (6) DREBIN produced the best race if his life last week and he looked good in the lane trotting a fast final 1/8th. He draws best here and I think Macdonald gets more aggressive with him; slight nod. (8) HUNGRY HILL broke on the final turn in that race while he was on the move. He will be the one to beat here if he stays flat. (3) FORBIDDEN TREASURE’s sophomore debut was good and he is another possibility for multi-race tickets. (9) MARKET BANKER made a late move in his debut and I can see him closing for a share tonight. Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 1. 3 YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLIES - Pick 4 (4) MASS CARA got a clean line down last week now it’s go time in the first leg of the Grassroots. I expect a more aggressive steer here, and a win. (7) LOVE THOSE LEGS was 2nd to R Liza on 5/3 and that filly came out of that race and then beat Willys Home Run twice. This filly should be right there tonight if she stays flat. (3) RESOLUTE LADY tripped out to win at huge odds, but she was also faster that night. She is improving and she’s in the mix here. (5) GO HAVE FUN was a game winner last week, but this is tougher. I’ll use her underneath.  Race 8: F&M CLM HDCP $10,000 to $15,000 (5) WATCH HER DEWITT was claimed by Barrington while in peak form and she should be tough to beat here. (4) BLUE GLAMBER was given an easy trip last week starting from a wide post now she draws well in a short field. She will likely be the main threat racing on or near the front this time. (6) SWEET LOVING finished right with the choice last week and she will likely blast this time. I see her sticking around for a share. (3) PJ DENA is worth a look for the exotics racing off the Giles claim seeking a threepeat.   [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT (8) FAST APPROACH couldn’t get close to the blowout winner last week but he did trot a nice final 1/4 and his form is improving; top call. (3) SCINTILLATING TOM was right there in a Grassroots race at Flamboro, and he fits well here. He could lead all the way tonight. (9) NORTHERN LOOKER looked good winning on debut, and he might be able to overcome the wide post here; using. (2) C KAN TROT can improve enough in this second start since a vet scratch to take a small share. Race 10: F&M 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT (8) FANCY LETTERING motored home in her debut to get 2nd behind a dominant winner and she stands out here. She will be a single for me. (6) AVYANNA made a decent wide move in that race, and she draws bet now. She can be the main threat here. (10) ALLCHEEKIESOFF flashed speed and finished just behind the choice. She can be an exotics factor despite drawing widest. (7) SWEETER THAN LOU was 4th behind the choice last week and her speed should put her in position to take a share. (3) SPORTY LIZ faced much tougher last week. She can improve enough here to take a share.
