Top Pick Stats: 115/384 = -$78.60 Best Bets: 12/38 = –$19.20 Spot Plays: 7/38 = -$10.70 Best Bet: JAZZVILLE (RACE 6) Spot Play: SOMETHING IN BLUE (RACE 2) Early Pick 5: 2,6,7/8/3,6/3,5,9/3 = $3.60 Late Pick 5: 7/2,4,5,6/1,6/8/6,7 = $3.20 Race 1: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME (2) SHESAMANALISHI angled out at the top of the lane in her 2025 debut (which happened to be just her 2nd career start) and trotted well to be 3rd. She had too much work to do to get to a strong winner but put forth a good mile and should be the one to beat here this evening. (7) GREEN MANS JOY gears up for her sophomore debut after a lone qualifying try. She inherited 2nd in that effort after a rival broke stride in front of her. She still showed good trot in the lane but could not get to a strong winner in that contest and can take a step forward here. (6) JEANIE T ships in off a good runner-up effort at Flamboro in her first start of the year. This filly got clearance late in the stretch and showed good trot. She draws well and will try the big track, but she will need to find a little more this evening. (5) D A DREAM GIRL exits a single qualifier where she was a distant 3rd to a pair of quality fillies who competed at the OSS Gold ranks. She is winless in five tries in her career and can hit the ticket in this spot. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 3 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME (8) SOMETHING IN BLUE is coming off a lone qualifying effort as she gears up for her 3YO debut. She was a distant 2nd to a dominant winner but was moving well in the stretch that morning. She hooks a group who hasn't shown much early on, and this is a filly that should have a good chance to break her maiden this evening. (3) TEMPTING was up against it in her career debut when drawing post 10. She angled out late in the stretch and was moving forward when asked. She could improve in her second start of her career and is one that should have a big chance here. (9) GOOSEBERRY hasn’t hit the board in both of her tries this year. She draws outside but has an experience edge over the two above; can land on the ticket. (2) ITLL BE ALRIGHT is coming off a trio of qualifiers as she gears up for her career debut. She’s one to monitor on the win end for next time, but she can land on the ticket at first asking. Race 3: 3 YEAR OLDS: NW 1 RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME (3) THE BEAR A CUDA worked out a 3rd over trip in his latest and tipped wide to make his charge at the pace setter. He started to get into gear and looked like he was going to be no worse than 2nd in that contest but put in steps. He picks up a new set of hands this evening and the change of scenery might benefit this guy here this evening. (6) ARTFUL DODGER exits a pair of qualifiers as he gears up for his 3YO debut. He showed good late trot in his most recent try and just missed out for 2nd in that effort. He retains James MacDonald, who had his choice of a couple rivals in here and is one that should have every opportunity. (2) INDUSTRIALISTS trotted well late in the mile to be 3rd in his most recent. He is winless in 10 career tries but has hit the board in seven of them. He can continue that here. (7) NORTHERN DRIFTER took a little bit of support in his latest and jumped it off early. He could land on the ticket here if he stays to task and is one to monitor. Race 4: FILLIES & MARES NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME (5) LISBON is a perfect 3-3 to start off her racing career. She will take another step up in class and will have to drop additional time to compete, but I think she’s sitting on another good effort despite having not raced in three weeks coming into this start. (3) FILM AT ELEVEN got a clean shot at the pace setter and was unable to hold off a rival who had a tougher journey. She has the ability to get the job done vs. this group but she’ll need to work out another trip. (9) KADIDDLE continues to move extremely well at the end of her miles but can’t quite get to the finish line before others over her last few tries. She draws outside, which’ll make things more difficult to get involved early on, and I’m expecting her to close late for a piece. (2) BEERSNSUNSHINE DEO failed to hit the board in her sophomore debut despite a clean trip up the inside late. She’ll be given every opportunity to land on the ticket in her 2nd start here. Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 3 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME (3) YS FLOWERNUMBERTEN was a narrow 2nd in his latest after just falling short at the wire to a game rival. She dropped even more time in that effort and is one that looks poised to graduate the maiden ranks here; James MacDonald sticks. (9) KOBRA KATE was 3rd behind the choice in her latest. She has finished in the show spot in both of her career tries, and should be a favorable price starting from an outside draw this evening; she’s a contender. (5) FOREVERAFTERALL was a runner-up finisher in her first start of 2025. The line looks good but she wasn’t as sharp as she should’ve been late, and is one that can grab a share. (2) WICKED ROAD is coming off a dominant score in her seasonal debut at Flamboro. She can build off that and land on the ticket here. Race 6: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000 (7) JAZZVILLE found a seam very late in the stretch and just exploded late to get up for the narrow victory. You can only imagine how big the margin of victory would’ve been had she gotten a cleaner trip and she is tough to go against in this spot; top call. (10) WIFEY SAID SO has been no worse than 2nd over her last five tries. She was picked off just before the wire by the choice and is one that should be able to put forth another strong effort. (4) PAM made a miscue off the gate in her latest. She was claimed out of that contest and will now race for new trainer Joe Perrerira. She draws well and will be aggressively handled; can stick around for a share. (5) ALESSANDRA was moving late in the mile to be 5th in her latest. She will need to find a lot more to get a big piece but should be good for a share. Race 7: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $60,000 (OS $75,000) LIFETIME (6) STARS TREASURE made gains up the inside but flattened out a bit late. His line looks a little bit better than his actual race, but I’d still say it was a step in the right direction at this level for him and he is one that can pick up the piece late if there’s speed to chase.  (5) JIMMY WHISPERS failed to get involved after drawing the rail in his latest. He paced home evenly in that effort and is one that warrants respect here with a middle of the gate draw. (4) RUSTYS BETT finally found the winner’s circle after working out a nice trip. He can easily double up at this level if he’s at his best, but consistency has been a major issue with him. (2) PHONE NINE ONE ONE showed some sneaky pace late in the stretch at Flamboro last time out. He draws inside and can work out a stalking trip in this spot; should be able to grab a share. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: 3 YEAR OLDS: NW 1 RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME (1) CALL ME PARKER was 4th over on cover in his seasonal debut and was able to trot the lane very well to grab the place spot. It was start number one of his sophomore season and it was a much improved effort off a qualifier that was just okay. He should have every opportunity to break his maiden in this spot. (6) GETTHEGREEN is coming off a lone qualifier and was 3rd in that effort. He was winless as a rookie, but put forth some good efforts and finds a group where he should be competitive in his sophomore debut. (7) WHITE IGNITE made a miscue off the gate in her most recent try. She started from the rail in that contest and will get a catch driver behind her for the 2nd consecutive start. She can grab a piece in here if she stays to task and is one to monitor. (4) KENOGAMI MAT will make his career debut off a pair of okay qualifiers. Let’s see. Race 9: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $60,000 (OS $75,000) LIFETIME (8) SUPERIOR DELIGHT has been a winning machine as she looks for her 6th consecutive win. She continues to look stronger after each victory and she’s too tough to go against right now.  (1) JOB HUNTER got away 3rd and was shuffled along the inside. She had some sneaky pace in behind rivals and is one worth using underneath as an exacta player. (6) MY LAST KISS has been no worse than 3rd over her last 4 tries. She has shown versatility to leave out and sit a trip and that’s what I’m expecting in this spot. (5) FOX VALLEY TATUM paced well for a share in her latest. She can do the same here. Race 10: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000. (6) PLAY THE ACE was fourth over on cover then ducked back into the inside. He showed some good wheels at the end of his mile in what was his first start for new trainer Gerard Demers, and is one who can take a step forward off that effort; top call. (7) FOREFATHER didn’t get involved early on after drawing outside. He flashed some good late speed despite not hitting the board and is one who can get a bigger piece with a more favorable trip. (9) BET NINETEEN is coming off back-to-back wins but just hung on for the score in his most recent. He will have to work hard if he wants the lead from pp9 in here and might have a tough time gearing up for a threepeat. (8) BETTOR THAN PRIDE moved back up to a claiming handicap and rounded out the super. He draws outside and will have every opportunity to land on the ticket. (3) KATIES BET is coming off a 4th place qualifying effort as he gears up for his first start since 3/6. He has just one win in 14 starts this year but can land on the ticket.
