Race 1: 3 YEAR OLDS - NW 1 RACE OR $8,500 (FM $10,650) LIFETIME
(3) GYMBOREE will make her 3YO debut after a freshman campaign that saw her go winless in 11 tries. She is entering this contest off a 2nd-place qualifier at NFLD, where she was 3-wide on the backside, but still made gains towards the pacesetter despite running in. She will be adding Lasix in this contest and gets the nod this evening. (10) TEN will make his sophomore debut after a freshman campaign that saw him go winless in seven races. He took on stakes-caliber colts in most of those tries and will debut as a 3YO in a maiden. He was tight on the pacesetter’s helmet in his qualifier and stayed cemented behind it until late in the stretch. He draws outside but is a contender in this spot. (7) LISBON showed improvement in qualifier #2 and trotted the lane well when given his cue. He could be ready to go at first-asking with the right trip. (9) SOUTHWIND CAPONE has secured the show spot in all four of his career tries; he draws outside and should have every opportunity to close for a share.

Race 2: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE
(7) SHOW STOP will be in-to-go this evening after a very good 2nd-place finish in the finale on Monday Night’s program. He paced home off cover and just missed to the heavy choice in what was a much improved effort in his 3rd start for new trainer Jacob Roberts. He should be confident going in and gets the nod vs. this group. (4) HERESTHATMANAGAIN worked out a perfect 2nd-over trip in his latest and didn’t have much pop in the lane despite that. He drops down the claiming ranks and should fit this group nicely; contender. (1) BETTORHOLDONTIGHT made a miscue off the gate in his latest. He draws the rail yet again but will be paired with James MacDonald, who guided him to a score three starts ago. (6) THATSWHATISAID N is coming off a lackluster performance in his latest. He had hit the board in three starts in a row prior to that effort and can bounce back by grabbing a piece.

Race 3: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME
(7) MY TIME YOUR MONEY got picked off by a rival who was sharp in a winning effort. He was 2nd-best of the rest and I’m hoping he can get the best of this group in a gate-to-wire victory. (5) KADIDDLE will be making her career debut after being unraced at ages 2 and 3. She found a seam in the stretch in her most recent qualifier and burst through with a lot of trot to score the victory. She looks faster than this group and is undoubtedly the one to beat, but I worry about what kind of trip we see from her this evening. (8) MONI ALL DAY comes off a 5th-place effort at Mohawk in her most recent try. She will enter this race adding Lasix and is the only contestant that has a career victory under her belt. (1) FILLY BOO will drop back down to a maiden after racing in a NW3 event. She has one on-the-board finish this year and should be competitive in this field.
Race 4: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $50,000 (OS $62,500) LIFETIME
(4) FOX VALLEY TATUM was bottled up in the stretch last week and flashed a lot of pace when shaking free to be 3rd. She draws inside, fits this group nicely and looks poised for a strong effort. (3) VENDETTA BLUE CHIP qualified in preparation for this effort and was a 2nd-place finisher. She worked out a pocket trip but couldn’t go by a strong winner that morning. She is a threat at this level and always finds herself in contention. (5) SAULSBROOK ANNIE will make her first pari-mutuel start since January and had a winning qualifier in preparation. She looked comfortable that morning and should be aggressively handled with a favorable draw. (1) MY LAST KISS is coming off a 4th-place effort at Flamboro and has been competitive at this level in recent tries. She can hit the ticket.
Race 5: POP UP SERIES: F&M CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 L5 STARTS
(5) LISAS ALL IN was bottled up behind rivals in her latest and had some pace when angling out just before the wire. She draws well here again and can improve off that effort; top call. (6) GOLDIES ROCKIN was a distant 2nd to a dominant rival in her latest. She draws well and will likely be the one to chase down in this spot. (9) HILLBILLY JET motored home late in the stretch to score in her latest. She draws outside, but will be one to look out for late. (7) BETH took a lot of support and was aggressively handled in her latest. She tired to finish 3rd and might be tighter going into tonight off an effort like that.
Race 6: 3 YEAR OLDS: NW 1 RACE OR $8,500 (FM $10,650) LIFETIME
(6) FISHERMANS BLUES worked out a second-over trip in his lifetime debut and made a miscue after the rival he was following made a miscue. He was in a good spot before jumping it off and I’ll give him the nod this evening and hope he can work out a good trip. (9) FADEAWAY HANOVER angled off the cones late in the mile and showed some good trot in that morning prep. He was winless in six tries as a rookie and should have every opportunity to notch a winning effort despite an outside draw. (4) TACTICALLYSPEAKING was 2nd in her most recent outing. She hasn’t raced in three weeks coming into this contest but draws well and should be involved early. (8) UNCLE DOUGLAS was able to shake loose late in his most recent effort and finish 2nd. He draws outside but should have every opportunity to grab a piece.
Race 7: POP UP SERIES: CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 LAST 5 STARTS
(8) RAYS KREDIT hasn’t been much of a factor over his last few starts. He will now race for the barn of Tess Waxman and will race in a lower claiming class. He should be competitive in this group and gets top billing. (9) GIDDY UP MAX showed a different dimension last week when he was aggressively handled en route to a winning effort. He has been racing really well and is one you can feel more confident in starting further outside after showing early speed last week. (3) PLAY THE ACE drew post 10 in his latest and was able to finish up for a share; he draws better and should be able to grab a piece here. (7) MACHO POLO has been 4th over his last two tries and can grab a share as well.
Race 8: POP UP SERIES: CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 LAST 5 STARTS
(6) FROWNIES MIRACLE is tough to back with confidence off his last three tries (including his local appearance). He’s back in the care of Brett Lester, who was responsible for three straight wins of his in December. I’ll give him the nod hoping he’ll be better. (5) FLYING ART A closed nicely in his latest to finish as the runner-up for the 2nd week in a row. He has been racing sharp and is a main threat here. (2) KATIES BET has picked up shares over his last two tries. He draws inside and should have every opportunity to work out a nice trip; if good enough. (4) MUSIC TO MY GEARS dead-heated for 2nd behind a sharp rival. He draws well and can grab a piece.

Race 9: POP UP SERIES: CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 LAST 5 STARTS
(1) DIRTY LIL PIGLET was 2nd to a sharp rival in his first start for new trainer Kyle Fellows. He will now hail out of the barn for co-owner Des Tackoor, and will race on Lasix for the second-consecutive start. He gets top billing off what was an improved effort. (3) BRING YOUR FIRE was aggressively handled from the outside in what was an easier spot and made the most of it. He draws inside and will be one of the main contenders in this contest. (4) RAISING SAND was a distant 3rd behind our top choice in his most recent. He is winless in seven tries this year but will have every chance at hitting the ticket. (8) TUF COOPER is coming off a 2nd-place effort for new trainer Kyle Fellows. He draws outside and loses James MacDonald to our top pick but is capable of a good effort with a trip.
Race 10: POP UP SERIES: F&M CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 L5 STARTS
(10) SMALLTOWN BAD GIRL got away towards the back of the pack from post 9 but finished up nicely late in the mile to get up for second. She draws outside in this contest yet again and likely will be up against it with her starting position, but we’ll give her a whirl and hope for some value. (3) CHEVRONS BYPASS N made a miscue in her latest after some broken equipment. She will now race out of the barn of Carmen Auciello, retains James MacDonald and merits respect. (5) RAMBARAN ROSE is coming off back-to-back 2nd-place finishes. She draws well and should be able to work out a nice trip. (9) MY ONLY SUNSHINE raced for new trainer Mark Winacott but made a miscue off the gate. She draws outside but is one that can be competitive if right. (4) GOLDEN LEADER finished 4th in her latest. She hasn’t been sharp as of late but has proven in the past she’s a major player when at her best.
