Race 1: 5YO and Younger NW3 or $20,500 LT $100,000 Pick 5**
(1) JIMMY CONNOR B steps up off a predictable win and he is supposed to win through these conditions. He should be tough right back tonight. (7) NOCH TEN showed high speed and talent in a brief 2020 campaign and he looks well-prepped for his sophomore debut. He should be the main danger here. (5) BETTORS DONTTELL was flying late and he should be a threat for at least a share tonight starting from one of the best posts. (6) VICTORY MOVE steps up off a professional maiden-breaking score but in this tougher spot I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 2: CLAIMING $15,000 for NW $40,000 LT
(8) SUNNY BO qualified well for this and driver Hudon has been driving very aggressively the past week. I'll give him a slight nod in a tough race. (7) READY TO RUMBLE N's form doesn't exactly get the heart racing, but he did take a mark of 1:51 flat here last year and he does take a big class drop tonight. The tote board may provide some clues here. (10) JUSTA BANDIT has the best recent form and he can't be discounted making his first start off the claim. (2) SALVADORS SUN is one of many changing barns for this and he is worth a look going for trainer Auciello.

Race 3: CLAIMING HANDICAP $10,000 to $12,000
(7) TIKI TAKA was decent in his first race coming off the break and I expect that Roy will get more aggressive tonight in this easier spot; top call. (8) ZEUS LIGHTNING has a similar profile as the choice and he is another that I expect will get more involved earlier in the mile tonight; using. (4) TOUCHDOWN AS blew up the tote board last week taking an improbable win after racing close up throughout. He is capable but unreliable and I wouldn't take a short price here. (5) MONTALBANO BI is capable of better than he showed last week. Give him a look for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 4: CLAIMING HANDICAP $10,000 t0 $12,000 Pick 4
(8) MISSION THREE converted a perfect trip into a win but he now goes for Moreau off the claim and his barn has been firing on all cylinders since coming off the forced Covid break; call to repeat. (6) ALWAYS N THE MONEY looked good beating easier when claimed and he figures to be a big threat again tonight; using. (7) JIMMY BE GOOD often closes belatedly and I see him coming on for another small share this week, (1) OUTLAW GUNPOWDER could improve making his third start back off the break but I prefer to use him on the bottom.
Race 5: F&M 5YO and Younger NW2 or $25,500 LT
(10) MS MACHINGBIRD gets McClure back for a return drive after finishing evenly last week as the late pace accelerated; call to upset in a wide-open race. (9) NICE KITTY HANOVER is obviously one of the best ones in here, but she may be asked to pass them all at an underlaid price; your call. (1) BLACK BETTY didn't beat much last week, but she did it with authority and she should be in the mix vs. these. (5) POWERED BY MACH is one that is likely to improve in this second start back and she's another to consider for multi-race tickets.
Race 6: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 Pick 5
(9) OH SO PINE is the only class-dropper in the field and Macdonald should be aggressive with him leaving the gate. He can take this group coast-to-coast on the engine. (5) MISTER OF ALL qualified impressively for this and if he can sit the choice's pocket he will be in with an upset chance. (4) WINGS UP was in good form prior to the break, but he is an infrequent winner and I prefer to use him underneath. (6) MUSICAL SPELL cracks the exotics at a price frequently at this level. He's a good one to use on the bottom.
[DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!]
Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000
(9) MAJOR MAKOVER was a game 2nd to a well-meant colt last week and he looks best here despite drawing widest; top call. (3) THINKING OF SLIM sat a perfect trip following the choice and he was only 1/4 of a length behind him at the wire. (5) CONFIDENCE MAN is a homebred for strong connections that should be heard from on debut and he is the third one that can be considered for late multi-race tickets. (10) NELSONEDDY HANOVER steps up off a confidence-building win at Flamboro Downs and he could sneak into the exotics at a price.
Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $20,500 LT
(5) BETTER TAKE IT qualified faster than most of these race. He should be very tough in this spot. (8) MAJOR BEAN faltered late last week in a race he may have needed. He can be an Exacta factor here. (9) FEAR THE SHADOW is another that qualified nicely for this, but from the widest post I can use him underneath only. (6) LOUS DELIGHT is capable of better than he showed last week. Look for him to be closing late for a share.
Race 9: CLAIMING HANDICAP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $75,000
(10) PORTSTOWNCHRIS IR was relentless racing first-up off the claim in a win that was more impressive than the chart line suggests. A threepeat looms. (8) LETS GET PICKLED is capable of a big rally on his best day and picking up driver Young here shouldn't hurt; price look. (5) D GS SHALLWEDANCE showed some good late pace when racing against the choice last week and he is in with a shot here. (6) NO TIME AT ALL should be the early pacesetter again and I see him hanging around for a share.
Race 10: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(8) BUSH MAN N laid down some big early fractions and almost lasted on 2/22. He should be tight as a drum now making his third start back and he gets top call. (2) NIGHT WATCHMAN could get woken up by McNair tonight and he is a decent price option for late multi-race tickets. (4) PRINCE ADAIR drops and he should be forwardly-placed early. He can take a slice here. (3) MIKEY CAMDEN has taken money in both local starts and raced just okay; using on the bottom. (9) HP I GOT TOPLAY is capable of landing in the Tri, Super or High-5 despite drawing wide and he should offer a big price from post 9 tonight.
