BEST BETS: 6/21 / -$16.70 SPOT PLAYS: 3/21 / -$16.90 TOTAL: 62/210 / -$69.40 Best Bet: FOX VALLEY TATUM (RACE 2) Spot Play: CEREAL KILLER (RACE 7) Early Pick 5: 6/6/2,4,6/1,4,5,8/1,9 = $4.80 Late Pick 5: 4,5/7/2,6/2,5,8/3,4 = $4.80 Race 1:  5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME. (6) GYMBOREE made a miscue just as she was clearing to the front at the 3/4 pole, where it looked like she was going to win by as many as she pleased. She recovered and secured the show spot despite the break and is one that looks tough to beat if she minds her manners; top call. (4) ALL VALLEY was tight on a rival's helmet during the stretch drive and stayed there in her most recent qualifier. She could be brave coming in and will be a value player in the exactas this evening. (8) ENIGMA BOVINO was aggressively handled and was neck-and-neck with the eventual winner throughout the entire stretch drive. She fought gamely to be 2nd in that effort and can get a big piece again. (7) HORSE TRADIN ships in from a few tries at the B’s and will not be back on a regular rotation. She picks up Bob McClure and is one to monitor. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $50,000 (OS $63,000) LIFETIME. (6) FOX VALLEY TATUM got a perfect trip in her latest but had plenty of pace in the lane when she tipped off cover. She has been racing well and should be given every chance to double up. She retains the services of Billy Davis Jr., who had his choice of another rival in this contest. (5) ALLSMOKEANDMIRRORS is coming off a winning qualifier in her latest and looked much better in that morning prep than her two starts prior. She has the class and ability to take on this group and should be a main player if she’s on her game. (3) U NO PEACH showed some sneaky pace along the rail in her latest effort and found a clear seam late in the mile. It was her first start on the big track and she can build off that effort. (4) ULTRA has been a winner at this level in the past and will now debut for new trainer John Curran. She adds Lasix coming into the race and can grab a piece. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME. (4) SUSHI BAR did his job and stayed to task when adding trotting hopples in his latest. He trotted the lane well in a fourth place effort and could be more confidently handled with a flat line under his belt; I’ll give him the nod in a wide open race with many question marks. (6) MAGGIES TOUCH came first over in his first career start and faded to 5th. He could be even better in start #2 and can get a big piece with a favorable trip. (2) MACTHENIGHT wasn’t great qualifying but there is an element of intrigue here with Trevor Henry opting for this rival and the fact he’ll debut for new trainer William Budd; worth monitoring and using in multis. (7) HOBNOB HANOVER has hit the board in 4 of 8 starts this year and can continue that trend here as well. Race 4:  FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME. (4) DG HOLI SHAMOLIE was aggressively handled in his latest and jumped it off on the front. Two starts back he made an impressive rally at a big number to be 2nd in that contest. She should be given every chance this evening in a race that is extremely wide open. (5) WINDSOR PATTY will make her first on the big track after recent tries at Flamboro. She was a winner two starts back, but has struggled to stay pacing throughout the mile. She has shown some ability if she can overcome her quirks and looks good enough to win if she can stay at it. (8) PINK SKY is coming off a maiden-breaking score at Flamboro in her first start for new trainer, Tess Waxman. She should be brimming with confidence and should be given an opportunity to race here. (1) GOONED AGAIN is coming off a winning qualifier under tight lines to Trevor Henry. She can take a step forward here off that effort in what is a wide-open affair. Race 5: POP UP SERIES FINAL: F&M CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 L5 STARTS. (9) HORIZON SEELSTER has been a dominant winner over her latest two tries. She will start from pp9 in this Pop Up Series Final and will debut for new trainer Shayne Barrington here. She’s tough to look past. (1) DEL DIGGITY has been a sharp winner in the first two legs of this series and will be looking for a clean sweep like the choice. She will race for new trainer Cameron McQueen in this final and is a major player. (5) LISAS ALL IN got up in the final strides in her latest to score a minor upset. She draws well again but will likely be racing for a piece vs. this group. (3) SMALLTOWN BAD GIRL was aggressively handled from the outside in her latest and faltered badly. She has raced well when being asked late in the mile and is a great value player to use in exotics. Race 6:  5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME. (5) KADIDDLE left out in her lifetime debut and sat a pocket trip throughout. The pace-setter began to tire and she was able to slip up the cones late in the mile to secure the place spot. She can be a major player with a start under her belt and will have every chance to get the job done with the right trip. (4) UNCLE DOUGLAS was aggressively handled in his latest and opened up a sizable lead before getting picked off in the late stages by another rival. Bob McClure will take over the driving duties this evening and he will give him every chance, and should be heavily backed at the windows as well. (3) LONG LEGS never left the rail for most of her recent qualifier. The rival she was stuck behind was gapping and she found a seam very late and didn’t show off much. She could be sitting on a good effort this evening, but with one start as a 2YO we prefer to tab her as an underneath player in her first start as a sophomore; one to monitor. (8) TEN made a miscue in his latest after a decent qualifying effort in preparation for that mile. He draws the outside in a shorter field but will need to stay to task this evening. Race 7:  POP UP CONSOLATION 1: H&G CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 L5 STARTS. (7) CEREAL KILLER left out aggressively in his latest and was shuffled turning for home. He was stuck behind a wall of rivals with some pace and had nowhere to go. He should be aggressively handled off the gate and should be given every chance in this spot. (4) FISCAL POLICY worked out a clean trip but it took him all his might to go by the pace-setter off a clean trip. He did, in fact, have room up the inside to shoot through and got picked off by a rival who was motoring on the outside. He has a tendency to hang late in miles and will take lots of support given the driver switch to James MacDonald. There is value in playing against this horse. (5) BAYLOR BOBBY returned to the Jacob Roberts barn and rounded out the superfecta. He can get a bigger piece here. (2) SILVER BEAST was 5th in his latest and can grab a share in this spot. Race 8:  POP UP CONSOLATION 1: F&M CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 L5 STARTS. (6) MISSY ROCKS got away last off the car but rallied nicely to be 3rd in her latest. That was a strong effort and she could take a step forward against this group; top call. (2) PRETTY MISSY MAY has hit the board in 3 of her last 6 tries. She draws well and could be sitting on a good trip here; using. (3) CENTURY KISS ME is one I thought was okay two starts back but she didn’t fire in her latest. She suffered broken equipment and is one I’ll throw in multis as a flier. (4) BETH has been aggressively handled in her last two but has put forth mixed results. She draws well and will likely be the one to chase in this spot, making her a threat. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (8) KJ OWEN showed a different dimension in his latest when motoring to the front and crushing his rivals. Albeit, there were a pair of scratches making it easier for him, but that effort was strong enough for me to go back. (2) DAY TRADER is dropping back down to a class where he's been dominant. He merits respect because of it. (5) THATSWHATISAID N finished 2nd to our choice in his latest. He’s been racing well and has shown versatility; a contender with a trip. (7) LETS GET PICKLED is coming off back-to-back wins. He will likely be summoned off the gate and could trip himself out. Race 10:  POP UP SERIES FINAL: H&G CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $4,000 L5 STARTS. (4) BET NINETEEN is coming off back-to-back wins and will be looking to sweep this Pop Up. He draws well and he should be forwardly placed off the gate and will be the one to catch. (3) DIRTY LIL PIGLET was handled aggressively in his latest and was rewarded. He hung on for a narrow score and will look to capture the final here. He’s been better on Lasix and will now race for new trainer Shayne Barrington. (2) BRING YOUR FIRE was a narrow 2nd in his latest to the one above. He draws well, is racing sharp, and returns to Michelle Leblanc, who has had success with this guy. (8) PLAY THE ACE was a winner in his latest when he uncorked a nice rally late. He draws tough and can grab a share. (5) HEAD HONCHO has hit the board over his last two tries and can grab a big piece here; he draws well.
