Race 1: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(4) CONVOY HALL looked terrific winning on debut here last week and he was well within himself while trotting a 27 4/5 kicker to get the job done. He will be a low-priced single for many, including me. (6) CODE SWITCH is the other one in here that impressed on debut, but he would have to step it up substantially to beat the choice. He can be an Exacta factor, though. (8) JONNY BOOTS perhaps produced his best race to date last week when he finished 2nd to the choice but he ran his record to 0 for 23. He is best used underneath. (7) FASHION CONTENDER takes shares almost every week and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 2: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M4) or $21,750 LT
(1) MASS MARKET closed well and produced a 28-flat kicker, but most importantly, he got a clean line last week. Macdonald can get more aggressive with him now and he gets the nod. (5) LADY ALL STAR is a four time winner that was right there last week and she will likely be the main danger tonight. (6) VIMY RIDGE VENTI is another that closed well last week that will probably lay closer to the front this time. He is the other one that I’ll use in the early Pick 5. This is an easier spot for (4) TALISMANO, who doesn’t have to face streaking Royal Leaf this week. He can take a share vs. these.

Race 3: CLM $20,000 for NW $38,000 LT
(4) STREET ART dug deep to preserve the win last week and this field is no tougher; call to repeat. (2) GRITTY was live at a price in that race but he lacked racing room for most of the stretch. He is capable with a clear trip; using. (7) BEACH BOOTS comes in off two solid efforts, and he should be good for another share here. (5) SKY LOW LOW will likely close belatedly for a small slice on this spot.
Race 4: F&M NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4
Homebred (7) ENCHANTED ANGEL is a full sister to three that earned in excess of $360K and she lands in a good spot for her debut; top call. (4) HALLIE INTHECLOUDS was in a tough spot in her debut coming up against Convoy Hall. She showed some trot on the end of her mile now she gets Macdonald in the bike. She can win here if she gets better positioning at the start; using. (2) LEXUS ANGEL, a full-sister to 18-time winner Lexus Kody ($423K, 1:50 3/5 F.) is another debutante in with a chance in a race with no standout. (3) SWEET AMBER T showed enough in her debut at Flamboro Downs to suggest she can take a slice here.
Race 5: 5YO and younger winners or 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $45,000 LT
(8) MERCUTIO keeps racing well every week and he will get there one of these times. He stacks up well vs. these and he gets the nod. (3) COLLECTOR S was okay racing on the front, but he is a horse that likely needs a trip at this level. Macdonald will likely find a helmet this week and save his kick for the lane. He is capable. (4) KRUISE ON DOVER was okay from the widest post last week leaving for position then closing in tight quarters along the pylons in the stretch. I can see him getting a good trip racing on or near the front tonight. He is another possibility for early multi-race tickets.
Race 6: F&M CLM $20,000 for NW $50,000 LT - Pick 5
(1) BETTERNOTMACHME raced decently in the Blizzard series, and she drops to a level that she should fit like a glove. She should get an aggressive Cullen steer tonight; top call. (6) ST LADS DARK ANGEL raced well in defeat to Waitinonawoman who would be favored in here. She should be the main threat. (5) GIMMIE A CORONA races better off a helmet and I think she sits and rallies for a share in this spot. (7) ULTRA will likely be passing a few rivals late. She’s a good one to use on the bottom.
Race 7: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M4) or $21,750 LT - Pick 4
(7) ETERNALLY HANOVER came off the shelf and jogged at this level and he should repeat here at another short price. (4) KING FURY closed well for 2nd behind the choice, and he can complete the Exacta again here. (5) C S GOLDPOLICY towed the choice to the lane in a decent front end effort and he should be in the exotics mix again. (3) WORKSLIKEACHARM looks like one that will pass some rivals late and work his way into the bottom of the exotics.
Race 8: F&M CLM HDCP $14,000 to $18,000
(2) GREYSTONE TREASURE raced well in the Pop-Up series and just ran out of racetrack when 2nd to the choice in the final. She races off the claim again and I’ll give he a slight nod. (3) HILLBILLY JET is in great form and although she has failed the last two times she stepped up to this level, she looks like one of the best ones in here and she is hard to leave off late multi-race tickets. (6) THE TURNING POINT was second to a chalk that would likely be favored in this field, and she gets McNair here racing off the claim. She is another in with a shot in a compact but competitive field. (5) LITTLEBEARCAT should land in the bottom of the exotics tonight.

Race 9: CLM $20,000 for NW $38,000 LT
(7) BETTORHOLDONTIGHT, 4th when facing better here Monday night gets the leading driver now and he should be all set for a top effort. (2) USUAL SUSPECT couldn’t get past a stubborn Street Art last week and he loses Macdonald now but gets McNair. He should be the main threat. (1) CHASING GOOSEBUMPS is right there every week at this level but this is a tougher field than last week’s when he was picked off by a longshot at the wire. I’ll use him underneath. (6) HESTONATOR will probably sit another trip racing near the front and take a share.
Race 10: F&M CLM $8,000
(4) DEL DIGGITY missed a week prior to the Pop-Up series final but it didn’t matter. She was predictably claimed, and she is the one to beat here. (5) SILLY BUT SERIOUS raced well in that final, contributing to a fast early pace and staying for a share. She is in with a decent chance here. (3) SHOVANNA tripped out to get the job done at a price, but this is a tougher assignment and I’ll use her underneath. (9) PROUD OF MY ROOTS set a contested pace in the Pop-Up final and she paid the price late. She is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics at a price. (10) DIALMEUP was way over bet last week racing off the Moreau claim. She retains the leading driver here and she is worth a look for the exotics at a much higher price tonight.
