Race 1: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

(9) MAPLE LEAF BOUND is a homebred full-brother to a couple of winners including Angels Kid who finished 3rd in a Grassroots race at this track in his debut. His lone qualifier was okay and this isn't a tough spot. I'll give him the nod. (1) RESOLUTIONS will likely take a lot of action here because of the notable driver change to McClure and he should be dangerous vs. these; using. (5) WHOLE NINE YARDS is clearly the best closer in the race and he is another possibility for the early Pick 5. (8) COMPLETED PROMISE was better last time. Consider her for the bottom of the exotics tonight.

Race 2: Ontario Girls Pacing Series 1st Leg

(5) JUST DAISY warmed up for this 2022 debut with a decent qualifying mile with her trainer in the bike. She showed enough speed last autumn to beat these and a big speed try is probably coming here; top call. (1) AWESOME HILL was better last time but she was no match for the winner. She should be one of the main contenders in this series; using. (3) DOCS DELIGHT will likely blast for position, take a following trip, and stick around for a slice. (7) CONTROL THE THONG can rally for another small share in this spot.

Race 3: NW $35,000 in 2021-2022

(3) KINGS COUNTY, who beat much better than these two starts back, finds a soft spot here and he should convert as a heavy favorite. (2) JCS ROYAL TEASE was 2nd in a similar class last week and he can be an Exacta factor again tonight. (7) RYDGEMONT SON N got a wild trip from post 10 last time. Moving inside a few slots gives him a chance to hit the ticket tonight. (6) TEXACO MAN broke while on the move last time. He should be in the exotics mix if he stays flat tonight.

Race 4: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4

(4) LACHLANONTHE BEACH showed some good late zip requalifying and maybe the bigger track will help cure his breaking issues. He gets a driver switch to Sorrie tonight and he gets the nod. (6) HP LIS SHADOW is a homebred 1/2 to several winners including millionaire Lispatty. He showed enough in his qualifier on 2/11 to suggest he can contend at first asking; using. (1) SPORTY M THREE took some money at the windows last week but he didn't get involved until it was too late. He can improve off that start and he is in with a shot tonight. (5) DAVIDS IDEAL has been racing well at Flamboro Downs and he should be part of the Tri or Super here.

Race 5: Popup 2nd Leg F&M Claiming $15,000 for NW $50,000 LT

(9) MOONLITEBEACH lacked room early in the stretch in Leg 1 while the winner was sailing past in the middle of the track. She draws inside that rival here and I'll give her the nod to turn the tables. (4) CHANEL BEACH was a victim of pace last time and she should get a better setup here. She should be dangerous in this spot; using. (10) BLACK BETTY dominated in the opening leg but I'm inclined to try to beat her starting from post 10 this time. (2) NOTHINGCOMPARESTOU often makes her own luck with her good early speed and deft handling from McNair but my gut tells me she gets a much stronger challenge tonight and I'll use her underneath.

Race 6: Claiming $17,500 for NW $44,000 LT - Pick 5

(8) SLICK N SPORTY shoots for a fourpeat racing off the Shepherd claim and drawing widest is unlikely to stop him here. (3) PETER POOLE was caught by a resilient first-over challenger who has already come back to repeat. He should be the main threat to the choice. (7) ROCKNROLLS SHADOW took a shuffle then was in a bad spot when the pace accelerated. He can be closer tonight. (1) HELLO YOU improved his late speed last week and he could crack the exotics at a price this week.

Race 7: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $30,000) LT - Pick 4

(4) GOODGOLLYMISSMOLLY was carefully driven in her first start back and she looked good at the end of the mile, weaving through traffic with plenty of trot. She can beat these if she lays closer early in the mile. (6) HANG ON BABY was patient and it paid off when the leader tired. She has a good chance to take her fourth straight in this spot; using. (1) WICKENBURGH is right there every week but he needs to find more late; using underneath. (2) MAISYS MUSCLES is sharp but these are tougher and I see her taking a small share this time.

Race 8: Wine and Roses Trotting Series Final 3YO and 4YO Fillies and Mares

(6) BCS ROSE was better in her second start after finishing 2nd in the snow the previous week in a strangely run race that featured a 1:06 1/5 middle 1/2. She should be tough racing on the engine again tonight. (3) STONEBRIDGE STRONG is now 1 for 2 in meetings with the choice. She is at a tactical disadvantage because she shows no gate speed, but she can be a threat if she gets moving earlier. (4) DRAVEN HANOVER wasn't far behind the top two last week. She can get another slice here racing close to the front. (8) FLANAGAN DESTINY should pass some rivals late again and land in the bottom of the Tri or Super.

Race 9: F&M CLM HDCP $8,500 to $10,000

(4) BLINK AND GONE drops and Jamieson will likely be more aggressive with her in this spot facing a much easier field; top call. (6) ERIKAS SHADOW gets Roy back for this and she is another that should get better position early in this mile; using. (8) RHYTHM SEELSTER has only hit the board once since being claimed by Auciello but I could see her getting a good trip racing on or near the front tonight. She is another multi-race ticket possibility. (7) FERN HILL BELLA fits well here but the driver has only 10 wins in 2021-22, none of which came at Mohawk Park. I'll use her underneath.

Race 10: NW $3,000 L5 or $9,900 L10

(5) EAST END takes a big drop here and he adds Lasix. If he was going to turn his form around, this will be the spot. (3) MAJOR CUSTARD was a winner last time he dropped to this level and he should be a contender at this level tonight; using. (6) SHADOW IN RED hasn't hit the board in 2022 yet, but he is another dropper that should improve here. Moving off the rail to the best post should help, too. (1) SPRINGBRIDGE JIM paced a good back 1/2 last time and he should close for another share tonight. (2) MAINTENANCE MAN should be good for another small share in this spot.
