Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
(7) LACHLANONTHEBEACH showed some good late zip requalifying and maybe the bigger track will help cure his breaking issues. He gets a driver switch to Sorrie tonight and he gets the nod. (3) HP LIS SHADOW is a homebred 1/2 to several winners including millionaire Lispatty. He showed enough in his qualifier on 2/11 to suggest he can contend at first asking; using. (1) LUX SEELSTER was 2nd at this level two starts back and this isn't a tough spot. He can land in the Tri or Super here. (5) PINK FLOYD HANOVER paced a sub-28 kicker in his Mohawk Park debut. He is another that should be in the exotics mix.

Race 2: ONTARIO GIRLS SERIES 1st Leg
(5) JUST DAISY warmed up for this 2022 debut with a decent qualifying mile with her trainer in the bike. She showed enough speed last autumn to beat these and a big speed try is probably coming here; top call. (1) AWESOME HILL was better last time but she was no match for the winner. She should be one of the main contenders in this series; using. (3) DOCS DELIGHT will likely blast for position, take a following trip, and stick around for a slice. (7) CONTROL THE THONG can rally for another small share in this spot.

Race 3: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(8) GIVE ME KARETS K produced a nice late brush last week and he will be the one to beat here if he stays flat, although he could go off at odds-on in this field. (10) MOVIN TO THE TOP set most of the fractions in that race but lost 2nd to the choice late. He can be a speed threat again and he is the logical alternative to the choice. (4) MAPLE LEAF BOUND is a homebred full-brother to two winners including 17-time winner Angels Kid. This isn't the toughest spot to make a debut and Macdonald is signed on to drive. He is another Pick 5 option. (2) WHOLE NINE YARDS figures to close for another small share here.
Race 4: Claiming $17,500 for NW $37,500 LT - Pick 4
Razor-sharp (3) SLICK N SPORTY looks much the best in here as he shoots for four straight wins, tonight racing off the Shepherd claim; top call. (8) PETER POOLE was no match for a rival that was racing out of a new barn last week but that was a good effort and he figures to be the main threat to the choice here. (7) PRETTY BOY DUKE figures to battle for a small share in this field; using underneath. (2) ROCKNROLLS SHADOW will likely be positioned near the front early and stick around for a share.
Race 5: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $30,000)
(8) OODGOLLYMISSMOLLY was carefully driven in her first start back and she looked good at the end of the mile, weaving through traffic with plenty of trot. She can beat these if she lays closer early in the mile. (10) HANG ON BABY was patient and it paid off when the leader tired. She has a good chance to take her fourth straight win at this track despite drawing widest; using. (6) WICKENBURGH is right there every week but he needs to find more late; using underneath. (9) MAKIN MAGIC TONITE steps up off a dominant win and she isn't impossible in this spot, but I prefer to use her underneath vs. these.
Race 6: Popup Series 2nd Leg Claiming $15,000 for F&M who are NW $50,000 LT - Pick 5
(5) BLACK BETTY was dominant in the first leg of this series and this field is no tougher; call to repeat. (2) MOONLITEBEACH lacked room early in the stretch while the choice was sailing past in the middle of the track. She figures to be the main danger here; using. (8) LATTE SEELSTER picks up Christoforou here as Harris opts for the choice. I can see this mare rallying late for a share at a price. (6) CENTURY GEORGIA is worth a look for the exotics racing off the Montini claim.
Race 7: NW $36,100 in 2021-2022 - Pick 4
(3) VICTOR INVICTUS got bottled up with trot in the lane last time and he suffered interference that threw him off stride. He gets a driver change to Christoforou tonight and top billing here. (4) MAGICS WIZARD has been better in his last two starts and Macdonald sticks with him. He should be a threat in this spot; using. (5) TEXACO MAN was heading for the front when he jumped it off last week. He has upset potential if he can stay flat tonight. He is another that gets a driver change here. (9) TUCKERS OUT is another possibility if everything shakes out his way. He is another possibility in what looks like a spread race to me.
Race 8: Wine and Roses Trotting Series Final 3YO and 4YO Fillies and Mares
(6) BCS ROSE was better in her second start after finishing 2nd in the snow the previous week in a strangely run race that featured a 1:06 1/5 middle 1/2. She should be tough racing on the engine again tonight. (3) STONEBRIDGE STRONG is now 1 for 2 in meetings with the choice. She is at a tactical disadvantage because she shows no gate speed, but she can be a threat if she gets moving earlier. (4) DRAVEN HANOVER wasn’t far behind the top two last week. She can get another slice here racing close to the front. (8) FLANAGAN DESTINY should pass some rivals late again and land in the bottom of the Tri or Super.

Race 9: Popup 2nd Leg Claiming $15,000 for F&M who are NW $50,000 LT
It's reasonable to expect that (3) CHANEL BEACH will improve in this second start over the track and racing on a 7-day rotation this week. I'll give her the nod to turn the tables on (4) NOTHINGCOMPARESTOU, who should be the one to catch again tonight. (6) RUNAWAY HEIRESS has raced better out of the McQueen barn since being claimed and she attracts Macdonald to drive tonight but these are much tougher; small share predicted. (2) KAYLIES REAL regularly takes smaller shares. She is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri or Super.
Race 10: NW $3,150 L5 or $9,000 L7
(2) SHADOW IN RED has been facing a steady diet of tougher company and he should wake up with a much better effort in this lowest conditioned level; top call. (1) SPRINGBRIDGE JIM tried to rally from 7th into a 27 3/5 kicker which was mission impossible. He still passed some rivals in a good effort and he is in with a decent chance vs. these. (3) LANCASTER BOMBER couldn’t chase down iron-tough veteran Traceur Hanover last week but that was a good try and he fits well here. He is another in with a decent chance that merits a look for late multi-race tickets. (9) MAJOR CUSTARD was a winner last time he dropped this low but that was and easier field and he was allowed to cut a 1:01 middle 1/2 that night. I’ll use him underneath here. (4) MODERN ROCK is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics on the class drop.
