Race 1: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME **$75,000 Gtd Pick 5**
We have three in here that finished 1-2-3 in the same qualifier, and I’ll side with the one that finished 3rd, $35K Lexington buy (4) CHECK MASTER, who needed a clean line and finished well while not being asked for much. He is related to six winners (including $475K winner Life Well Lived), and Davis, who has been doing well since coming home, drove him in that qualifier and he keeps the drive here. (2) CENTURY JEANIE led all the way in that qualifier, and she looked good for a horse that hadn’t raced since September 2023. She could be a different mare with some maturity and Borth will likely put her into the race early; using. (9) MR JAZZ MAN might have won two starts back if he started his move earlier. He consequently broke on 1/16 and he will likely get a conservative steer starting from the widest post. I’d need a price here. (1) MUSCLE BRANCH will probably sit and rally this time; in with a shot.

Race 2: BLIZZARD PACING SERIES: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD FILLIES & MARES IN 2025. NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2024. LEG 2
(7) OH A LEGEND dominated last week in Leg 1 and she is the clear mare to beat here. She will be a Pick 5 single for me. (4) COCCO PUFF POWER was aggressively handled as the 1-2 chalk, but she failed to last. She will likely get put into play again tonight and can be an Exacta factor. (2) LOVE ON ME fired a fast kicker to finish a close 2nd in Leg 1 and she should be in the exotics mix again. (5) STAG ROYAL tripped out to score the upset last week. I don’t see her getting the same trip tonight; using underneath.

Race 3: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $36,000 (OS $48,500) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: NW $5,500 IN 2025 Pick 4
(3) P L RINCHENIA couldn’t get involved in the Pop Up series final due mainly to leaving from post 10. I think she gets positioned much better early in this mile and she gets the call to upset in her second start for Auciello. (8) VENDETTA BLUE CHIP’s form is terrific, but she had dead aim on the top two in the stretch last week and she hung late. She could get overbet here; your call. (10) LILLY CLARE gets a key driver change to Borth and she is worth a look at what should be a square price starting from the widest post. (5) FIRST FILLY CHIP should go better here racing for a tag. She should be part of the Tri or Super.
Race 4: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $36,250 LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: NW $3,600 LAST 5 STARTS
(5) CENTURY JAZZ was the first leader in the Pop Up final then he took a big shuffle, ran into traffic in the lane, and finished willingly in the race for place. He has a big shot tonight starting from the middle of the gate; top call. (10) VOLTAGE BLUE CHIP won as a big chalk two starts back when McNair took over, then he was used up early in the same race the choice exits, and in fact contributed to backing that rival up. He can get a better trip here facing easier and he could turn his form around. (9) DM SNAKEPLISSKEN should be able to pass a few of these late and sneak into the bottom of the Tri or Super. (2) ARAGONITE’s form seems to be going in the wrong direction. He is one that I will have to let beat me as a probable underlay.
Race 5: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $63,500 LIFETIME
(5) HURRIKANE CHEYENNE made the key move from a claiming handicap to a conditioned claimer last week and he absolutely crushed. Facing similar, he gets the nod to repeat. (7) D A CAPTAINOBVIOUS got used up early in the Pop Up final and he is in easier now. He can improve sharply in this spot; using. (3) PHONE NINE ONE ONE, a distant 2nd to the choice last week, should be part of the exotics again. (2) CHEDDAR DUHARAS comes off some solid efforts in the Pop Up series, but he looks like a minor player in this spot; using underneath.
Race 6: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME Pick 5
(9) INDUSTRIALISTS will debut tonight after being a transportation scratch last week. His lone qualifier suggests he can beat this group at first asking despite drawing widest. (5) MEGA GENEROUS improved as expected last week. He seems to fit well here, and he is in with a shot; using. (1) BELVEDERE KATHY raced better last week but I don’t love the rail post for her. I’ll use her on the bottom. (6) CLOSE ENOUGH made a decent late move on debut. Consider using him in the exotics tonight.
Race 7: CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $5,000 LAST 5 STARTS Pick 4
(4) KEYSTONE TENACIOUS raced well in defeat in a claiming handicap and he will likely prove tough to beat here in an easier conditioned claimer. (6) K J OWEN was 2nd to a rival that had a similar profile as the choice last week. He races off the Tierney claim now, and he will likely be the one to fend off late; using. (9) BETTORHOLDONTIGHT raced better last time when he dropped to this level, but his typical racing style often puts him behind the eight ball. I see him closing for a small share again. (3) GIDDY UP MAX is another deep closer that can pass a few of these and land in the bottom of the exotics.
Race 8: BLIZZARD PACING SERIES: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD FILLIES & MARES IN 2025. NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2024. LEG 2
(1) FOX VALLEY TATUM raced well in Leg 1 and now she returns to a 7-day cycle with a race over the track in her back pocket. She gets top billing tonight. (3) DIRTY DIANA was no match for a rival that has won five of her last seven and will be favored in race 2 tonight. She is the obvious danger. (2) ABSOLUTION has been racing okay with Hudon driving. She is a good one to use underneath in this spot. (7) CHASIN RAINBOWS will likely deploy a closing style this time and she can land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000
(4) QUAN BLUE CHIP thrives racing for Barrington it seems, and he looks good to repeat here. (1) MACH JACOBS, 3rd to the choice last week, can lay closer in this short field and he is the other one that I’ll use on late multi-race tickets. (7) THATSWHATISAID N comes out of the same race as the top two choices, and he fired a nice kicker that night. He is in the exotics mix. (3) CEREAL KILLER dropped into a conditioned claimer and popped, now he is in tougher again tonight; small share predicted.
Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000
(3) DEL DIGGITY was first up a long way racing off the Gagnon claim and she was her typically gritty self in defeat. She can beat these if she gets a slightly better trip. (7) WIFEY SAID SO races tough at this level every time and she will likely be the one to fend off late. (8) TAMARA HANOVER benefitted from following the choice last week and she got up for the win. I don’t see her getting the same perfect trip tonight; using underneath. (9) AK BLACK BADGER passed more than half of the field last week to land in the Super. She can close for a check again. (2) RAMBARAN ROSE will likely sit a following trip in mid pack and take another slice.
