(3) R HOT TODDY qualified well for this start and perhaps meets a field that he can handle in this 15th try at breaking his maiden; slight nod in a tough opener. (5) DEVILS ARCH is another that trotted a good qualifying mile but there is some obvious risk here considering his gait issues. I wouldn't take a short price on him. (4) WANIA is only 1-for-30 but his current form is good and driver Jones is going well of late; using. (6) MAGICAL MAJOR is another that has gait issues that is capable if he stays flat. This is a race that probably demands deep Pick 5 coverage.

Race 2: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(2) BETTORHOLDONTIGHT made a wide bid that was unsustainable last time and now he draws much better and gets the leading driver in the bike; top call. (5) SERIOUS DRAGON got an impossible trip from the worst post and now he draws best. He can improve sharply in this spot; using. (1) SERIOUS MOJO's first start following a short break was decent and he will likely get more aggressive in this spot. He is another in with a chance. (7) DONT POKE THE BEAR couldn't have got a better trip last time but he just couldn't reach up. I have to keep trying to beat him at this point, knowing that he will always take money because of the narrow misses.

Race 3: 2YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $10,000 LT

(6) NO CONTROL had a good debut race from the 10-hole and now he draws best. I'll call him to turn the tables on (9) WARRAWEE YANKEE this time but use both on multi-race tickets. (2) CATCHMEONTHEBEACH draws better tonight and he should be closer. He can land in the Tri this time. (5) CHESAPEAKE SUNRISE should race close to the front again and take another slice.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $31,500 LT Pick 4

(8) BETTINA HANOVER fits much better at this level and she should get a more aggressive steer; top call. (7) MATTS MVP gets first time J Mac tonight and he should be a speed threat; using. (1) BRASH LADY is right there most weeks and she stacks up well vs. these. She should be in the mix. (2) SHES BEER LEAGUE blew up before the start and was refunded last time. I think she sits and rallies for a slice if she stays flat tonight.

Race 5: Claiming $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $69,500 LT

(7) BELECHICK just jogged vs. similar last time and Moreau can do no wrong right now; call to repeat. (2) HES REALLY KEEN was 9th at the 1/4 last time when facing the choice, now he draws much better. He should be closer early and that gives him a shot. (5) TOUGHSONOFABEACH adds Lasix in this second start for Auciello and he should improve enough to take a share. (8) YARM draws a bit better tonight and I can see him closing for a smile.

Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $8,000 LT Pick 5

I expected (5) GIVE ME KARETS K to get a more aggressive drive last week. Maybe the move to one of the better posts should mean that he will be closer early; gets the nod. (4) ALCINA got too long of a trip last week. She can win if she gets a better trip. (3) CADILLAC is another that comes off a decent effort and draws better. He finished slightly ahead of the choice last time and he is in with a decent shot tonight. (9) ANGELINA HANOVER likely lands in the bottom of the Super for the third straight race.

Race 7: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $45,000 AE: 3YO and 4YO to be claimed for $50,000

(2) UNBEATABLE KEMP was flying late last time after starting from the 10-hole and he gets J Mac, who chose him over (9) LIONS WISH NL, who comes off a strong NW2 win. Nod to the former but I'll use both in the multis. (4) STORM TROTTER is sharp as a tack and he would be riding a 3-race win streak with some better racing luck. He's not out of this. (1) DEALIN WITH DEWEY should close for another small share here.

Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $31,500 LT

(6) BELLA CAVALLA ships north in sharp form and she gets sent out by the hottest barn; top call. (4) LILYS LASS raced well last time and she was beaten by a fast-improving rival. She should be the main threat. (7) INN AT RODANTHE was better last week and he can take another share in this field. (5) MUSCLE UP THE GOLD can get up for a small share with his typical late rally.

Race 9: F&M CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000 for NW $50,000 LT Pick 4

(3) P L OOOOOOOOOOYAH maybe went a bit too fast early last week when racing off the claim and she got picked off late by (6) SUNSHINE SALLY. These two will likely wage a similar battle here. Take your pick. (1) SHEPLAYSFORKEEPS raced great off the claim in the Popup series final and she is another obvious threat. (2) REYS N A ROCKET immediately improved racing for Moreau off the claim and she can't be tossed considering how hot the barn is running right now.

Race 10: Claiming $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $33,500

(7) TRION DE VIE comes off a solid try from post 10 and draws better now. I think he blasts and tries to last this time; top call. (5) THE TWIST paced the long mile last week and stayed game. He's in with a decent chance here. (9) TUF COOPER should turn his form around dropping back into a claimer and he will surely get an aggressive McNair steer. He's not out of this. (2) POINTTO SWEET LOU should be good for a small slice starting from the inside.

Race 11: F&M CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000

(7) LITTLEBEARCAT should be hard to hold off racing out of the hot Moreau barn tonight. (3) CLODAM BAYAMA was live last time but she got too tough of a trip racing uncovered on the rim. I'll use her expecting to get another square price tonight. (8) SUNSHINEINMYPOCKET was a good 2nd to the choice last time. She's in the exotics mix again. (4) WHATINEEDISAMAN should get a decent trip racing near the front and land in the Tri or Super.

Race 12: CLM HDCP $8,000 to $10,000

(8) THUNDERING JIM's best race beats these and his decent qualifier and the addition of Lasix makes him a play for me in this spot. (5) ROCKINMYDREAM got up late racing off the claim and he should be the main threat again. (2) THE AMAZINGSANDO comes off a sick scratch and missed time and I'll use him underneath tonight considering those factors. (3) THE LEGEND HANOVER flashed speed from the worst post last time and he finished with broken equipment. Drawing better here, I can see him making it into the Tri here at a price. (10) FOUR FOR ORR can pass a few of these late and take a small share.
