(2) SANTACRUZ SEELSTER has hit her best stride in her past two starts and this looks like a good spot for her to continue her solid run; top call. (6) LA BELLE REBELLA was off for six months following a claim and she came back ready, winning two straight at Flamboro Downs. This isn't the toughest field and she has a decent shot at the threepeat; using. (3) PREMIER BETTINA is another mare that has improved in her past couple of starts that could pop here in the opening leg of the early Pick 5. (4) NOTHINGCOMPARESTOU will get positioned near the front early and she should be good for a share vs. these.

Race 2: BLIZZARD PACING SERIES 1st Leg 3YO and 4YO Fillies and Mares

(4) AWESOME HILL blitzed the Niagara series and she looks like clearly the best filly in this series, too. She should jog here at a very short price. (7) BETTER WATCH IT tripped-out to win at a big price here on 1/7. Her sharp gate speed will put her in position to be an Exacta factor. (9) PULL ME THROUGH got a trip similar to Better Watch It's last week but the winner in her race was too strong. She should be in the exotics mix here. (8) IM CHIARA should pass a few of these late to land in the Super.

Race 3: 5YO and Younger NW1 (F&M2) or $7,000 LT AE: NW2 LT who are NW1 L10

(6) BETTINA HANOVER was a victim of pace last time and she still closed well. She should beat these if she gets put into the race earlier. (2) MAISYS MUSCLES looks ready for a good try coming off two nice qualifying wins. Notice that Macdonald drove in both of those and he is in the bike tonight; using. (7) PARTY LIFE comes off a strong effort when 2nd to a massive favorite. He should be part of the Tri or Super tonight. (10) RESOLUTIONS was better last week despite racing first-over. He can be part of the exotics here.

Race 4: Pop Up Event 2nd Leg F&M Claiming $8,500 Pick 4

Five barn changes highlight this Pop Up leg. (3) RHYTHM SEELSTER looks similar to Flysantanna who was claimed by Auciello and won a leg of this series in her next start; slight nod. (1) BLINK AND GONE was claimed off a race where she just couldn't repel a persistent rival. She stacks up well here; using. (7) MISS ROCKADALI has been having trouble sealing the deal recently but she goes for the leading trainer off the claim and she is in with a chance. (4) WOODMERE WYLDSTYLE was first-up chasing accelerating leaders last week and that was mission impossible. She has upset potential tonight.

Race 5: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(2) BORN A REBEL made two moves when beaten by a debutant on 1/3 and that was a good effort. I'll give him the nod here. (5) LINEDRIVE HANOVER is obviously fast enough for these if he minds his manners, but his lone start that was fraught with issues came 1 1/2 years ago. I can't take a short price here but acknowledge he could jog if he gets put into play and behaves. (10) BANKROLL SEELSTER jumped it off as the 3-5 chalk last time and he is another that should be in the mix if he stays flat this time. (9) FLIGHT ONEFORTYSIX qualified well for this and he has some talent as he showed in a limited 2021 campaign. He's another in with a shot in a wide-open race.

Race 6: Fillies and Mares Claiming $15,000 Pick 5

(9) KOUNNIS and (8) COCO BEACH DE VIE both go for new barns here and I could see them starting 1-2 then fighting it out down the lane for the win. Slight nod to the former who has been tough on the front end with Macdonald driving. (5) SOMETHING ROYAL was just short to a 1-2 favorite last week and she will likely be the one to fend off late. (7) SAULSBROOK FLASHY is in easier here and she should be good for at least a share.

Race 7: BLIZZARD PACING SERIES 1st Leg 3YO and 4YO Fillies and Mares Pick 4

(3) EMMY LOU HAYES tuned up for this series with a solid 3rd to much tougher mares. She will be a multi-race single for me in this spot. (4) BELINA has a similar profile as the choice but will likely be chasing that rival, who is likely to get positioned in front of her early; Exacta factor. (9) INTOTHEMYSTICMOON comes off an impressive maiden win but this is a much tougher spot; small share predicted. (2) BABY BONITA is worth a look for the exotics debuting for cagey veteran trainer Budd.

Race 8: NW $31,500 in 2021-2022

(4) TUCKERS OUT was out of position last week after starting from a wide post and the best he could do was pass a couple of rivals. Post relief gives him a much better chance tonight; top call. (8) MAGICS WIZARD is in easier and he retains Macdonald. He will likely get put into this race early and he should be a big threat. (7) URS IFU WANT IT is another facing easier, but I wonder if he will get over bet. I wouldn't take a short price here. (1) MUSCLES FOREVER compiled a good record last year and he is worth a look here in a spot where he could trip-out racing near the front.

Race 9: Pop Up Event 2nd Leg F&M Claiming $8,500

(4) ERIKAS SHADOW looks like the best in here and she draws well racing off the Demers claim; top call. (6) RUNAWAY HEIRESS is worth a look for the Exacta racing off the Currie claim. (7) MOONLITEBEACH seems to fit okay vs. these but from out there I'll use her underneath. (5) BRYDOWN LILIBET faces tougher coming off a win; using on the bottom.

Race 10: NW $3,000 L5 or $9,400 L10

(8) LUCKY LEONARD was airborne late in the mile two starts back and he got hammered at the windows last week off that effort. He was used hard early, which took its toll. His price should be better tonight; stalking trip coming this time? (3) CARSONS SHADOW comes off a sharp win over a decent field and he attracts Macdonald tonight; using. (5) SIDDHARTHA should improve on the class drop here and he is the third one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (7) MAJOR HILL makes his third start off the Lester claim and he draws better tonight while dropping. He is another that is in with a shot but I prefer to use him underneath. (2) MISSION BAY should be good for a small share in this spot.
