Race 1: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
Tough race to kick off the Pick 5. I'm inclined to lean to a debutante because none of those that race seem reliable. (8) MOMENT IN THE SUN is a half to seven winners and she is sure to offer a good price with a driver in the bike that isn't a Mohawk Park regular; slight nod. (7) ALCINA keeps coming close but can’t seem to get the job done. She is one of the major contenders on paper, but I won't take a short price on her. (4) DEVILS ARCH can probably win if he stays trotting, but he has had four pari-mutuel starts and he has broke in all four. (3) QUICK FIX is another that has had gait issues that should be right there if he can stay flat. Anything probably goes in this dash.

Race 2: F&M CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000
This race looks like it will set up for a stalking type and (6) CLODAM BAYAMA, who won here at this level two starts back, fits that bill; top call. (3) FURIOSA closed well now she moves into Marfisi's barn. She is another closer in with a shot here. (4) P L OOOOOOOOOOYAH was first up last week and that's not her trip. She gets McNair back and he should have her up front again. She could be the one to catch at the 1/8th pole. (10) SUNSHINEINMYPOCKET popped and stopped when claimed by Moreau and whether or not she blasts from the widest post may hold the key to the race.

Race 3: F&M NW2 or $40,500 LT
(7) SHES BEER LEAGUE stepped up to this level in sharp form last week and she almost got there at an overlaid price. I think Roy gets her involved earlier this time; top call. (6) ANGELWITHATTITUDE got a needed tune-up at Flamboro after missing two months following the Harvest series. She draws best here and she would be no surprise, (9) ANGELINA HANOVER comes in from Flamboro off two easy wins and she should be a speed threat tonight; using. (2) MUSCLE ENVY should get a slice here if she can stay flat.
Race 4: Claiming $8,000 - Pick 4
(9) ROCK N ROW goes for Moreau off the claim and adds Lasix and he should be the one to beat vs. this group. (8) R BAZINGGA just jogged at Flamboro and McNair will likely put him into play leaving the gate here; using. (3) MIKES POWERHOUSE is in easier here and he is another that is possible for the early multi-race tickets. (6) AMERICAN SNIPER can close for a slice in this spot.
Race 5: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $60,000 LT
(6) HES REALLY KEEN deployed closing tactics last time and he was never going to pass them all. I think he gets a better start this time and that can make the difference; top call. (10) TUF COOPER, claimed by Moreau off a win at this level, is the obvious one to beat despite drawing widest. (8) LAND OF ROYALTY got hammered at the windows racing off the Barrington claim, but he got a wild trip. Sharp improvement from this gelding would not be a surprise in this spot. (3) ASSASSINS CREED is another that got a tough trip that should improve in this spot; using.
Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 5
(1) SOUTHWIND CHARDNAY's qualifying mile stamps her as clearly fast enough for these and she should win if she stays flat. (2) CADDILAC fits well here and he is the logical alternative to the choice; using. (3) FASTNET ROCK is worth a look for the exotics getting a catch-driver for the first time since October. (4) MONI LAUNDERER's decent late kick could get him a small share in this spot.
Race 7: F&M Claiming $7,000
(5) CENTURY GEORGIA raced well in two straight starts at this level and Sorrie will put her into play leaving the gate; top call. (1) CRANBERRY BRIE is the other one in here that comes off two solid tries at this level. She should be right there vs. these. (3) JMR MACH MEL should like the long Mohawk Park stretch and I could see her passing them all here; using. (10) E R RHONDA is capable of passing a few of these late and landing in the bottom of the Super at a price.
Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $23,000 LT - Pick 4
(9) DAY AT THE GYM is fast enough to contend here if he stays flat and he qualified with trotting hopples on. If that fixes his gait issue, he can beat these. (8) BULLDOG, winner of three of his last four, is clearly improved and he should be a threat here. (3) GIVE ME KARETS K should pass a few of these late and land in the Tri. (1) R HOT TODDY stayed in last time and got in a bit of traffic but he found room late and was a bit one-paced. I think he takes a small slice here.
Race 9: F&M CLM HDCP $8,000 to $10,000
(6) LATTE SEELSTER draws best racing off the Waxman claim and she could lead all the way vs. these. (5) CANTSTOPTHEFEELIN should get an aggressive steer from Sorrie and I could see her being a pocket rocket; using. (8) SHEPLAYSFORKEEPS drops and she will likely get more aggressive, especially if there are claims in on her. She is another in with a shot here. (3) SOMETHING ROYAL is worth a look for the exotics with McNair taking the lines.

Race 10: Claiming $7,000 for NW $3,000 L5
(3) LYONS IMAGE was a close 2nd in an $8,500 claimer in London on Monday night and he looks best vs. these. (7) EXPRESS ALL THAT can improve sharply here on the class drop. He is the other one that I'll use on late multi-race tickets. (6) EAST BOUND EDDIE's current form is good enough to suggest that he can take a share in this field. (9) MYSTIC MESSENGER is another racing back quickly that is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 11: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $37,000 LT
(10) PROMISE ME A WIN goes for Barrington off the claim and he seems to move everything up these days; top call. (6) THE COLT has gone some big trips and shown promise at Flamboro after debuting at six years old. This looks like a good spot for him and he should be a threat. (9) JITTERBUG FLIP just beat similar and I could see him getting a pocket trip following the choice tonight; using. (5) POINTTO SWEET LOU likely takes another small share and rounds out the Super or High-5. (1) AVID is in easier here but he hasn't been seen since December 1st. I see him taking a small slice.
